This is an historic building, the room as spacious and clean, excellent snow views out of the window. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast and very good good. Walkable to almost everypoint of interest in the city.

Lovely area, very charming and pretty accommodation. The breakfast was also very good. But the mattress was thin, a bit lumpy and not very comfortable. There was a kettle in the room, but just a couple of lipton teabags and no milk, not even long life. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in the room.

Pros: Room and building have character | Located in a main street so I felt safe | Comfortable bed | Power sockets were in the right places | Clean room | Very helpful staff (as they ordered my taxi to the bus station just in time)

Suggestions for improvement: Safe couldn't be opened | ramp or lift for suitcases / accessibility (only a few short steps up to first floor where my room was) | install USB power sockets | Provide moisturiser | Reception not being 24/7 was a bit scary at first, but they picked up my call to provide self-check-in instructions

I was supposed to get VIP free parking. I didn't but was told that where I had parked was free. It wasn't and cost me A$100!!! On top of that the room was very cold-hosts knew heating didn't work but made no provision for this position xcept a poor apology in the morning because I can't mplained online. My room was supposed to be a 'single deluxe'. It was a shabby area and more of a cramped enclosed hallway than a room. The lovely decriptions and online ne photos didn't reflect the reality of what I got. Hosts claim to make it a special experience applied but in the most negative way of the many hotels I have experienced in my extensive travels. Hugely disappointed and also ceeling d cived and ripped off!!

A very old building, cold, spooky vibe. not enough outlets. not as fancy as the photos on expedia. I got two rooms and their conditions were very different. and the better one was on the 5th floor with no elevator. the free parking they provide is actually far away. I reserved a permit to enter the pedestrian zone but they forgot. no follow-up help afterward. no replies to my messages after the check in.

the breakfast was good. Restaurants in the area are pricy and not very good so the included breakfast is pretty valuable.
we paid 258USD for a night for two rooms and would only recommend for lower prices.

Very quiet location. Convenient, right in the middle of the old town. Do note however that reception hours are only during breakfast. Check in requires calling, and fortunately doable thru WhatsApp. Amazing breakfast even though there weren't many guests when I was staying there.

A fairytale indeed! Enjoyed a lovely 2-night stay and would return tomorrow. Very comfortable and clean room, quiet and convenient to everything in Old Town. Kettle in room. Room #202 up the stairs and at the end of the hall is spacious and really quiet. Sitting area was great for working and planning the day, as well as relaxing. No elevator, so if you have mobility issues this might not work for you.

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. If you arrive by car be sure to get the car and parking details in advance as you'll park at their sister property across the river.

Great location. Close proximity to centre and attractions. Self-Check in was challenging, and parking also very tricky to find and at a distance & cost. Comfortable room but very hot - no fan or air con. Breakfast was included and good.
Noisy (noise restriction of 10pm cut-off were not adhered to). Extremely disruptive till 3pm.

One night in Cesky Krumlov

Nice rooms and convenient to all local attractions. We stayed on the 5th floor and there is no elevator but that wasn’t a problem for us. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The building is fantastic. Old world building with new, modern amenities. The staff (or lack there of) could be better. There was no one available at check in. They just left the keys and an info sheet on the counter. The kitchen staff who set up breakfast did not make eye contact or even speak to the guests. They simply disappeared as soon as the buffet was set up. The info sheet advised someone would be available for checkout from 8-10:30, but no no one was there until after 8:30 (we had a reservation across town at 8:30 so this caused problems for us).
Overall, great property but definitely did not have a homie feel from staff (as the property proclaims).

The check in was easy but they provided the WiFi password at the lockbox in case you don’t have cell service and have a problem. The staff was kind and spoke English. The rooms are cute and cozy. The breakfast to a delight and had many yummy choices.

Nice room and bathroom and breakfast was good. Parking is a challenge due to road restrictions and distance to lots. We parked at P7 which was far as P2 has an event. Asked receptionist for a car pass to drive in to get suitcases. However check in involved key box and risked driving without pass

Great place bang in the old town centre!

Great place bang in the old town centre! Free party available right in front of the property for an hour after that you’ve to park in any of several paid car park. The cost of parking varies from USD 2-3 per hour. The room we got had a little courtyard in front which was nice However, the bed was located under a thatched roof which made it very inconvenient! Overall, a great place for a night or two!

There was no one to check us in and check us out. We tried calling the number left on the door (we arrived between check in hours,) the kind lady next door contacted the reception and got us onto the hotel after being on the phone 20 mins with the hotel. Parking was an issue. Other customers to had the problem. There was a tv issue that the lady next door tried the fix. We had no contact with staff except at breakfast. There were dirty dishes in our room, and the sink ran slow, and no one to help. I would not consider this a 4 star, and it was not worth the price.

Nice hotel right in the middle of the everything.

My wife and I loved the hotel and the location. The room was very cute and perfect for our stay. The breakfast had a great selection for a small hotel but there was more than enough to eat. One drawback, I am not sure if it was the time of the year but we rushed to get to the hotel within the check-in time and I guess I thought there would be someone at the desk. Not a big deal but if I would have wanted a parking permit I wouldn't have gotten one even though I requested to park in their parking. I parked in the paid lot which was a 5 minute walk away.

Excellent arrangements were made before we checked in at the hotel as there was no one at reception everything was well prepared.

But unfortunately, the rest of our stay was not satisfactory. Our shower was blocked and the water took a very long time to drain. As we were 4 people it took longer than 2 hours to shower. We had only 2 cups, 1 x sacket coffee and 1 x small milk in our room for our 3-day stay for 4 people. The coffee machine in the restaurant area only had expresso with cold milk in the morning. The handles of some of the windows and cupboards were broken, so we couldn't use them.

Our room was not cleaned, and only on the second day late afternoon around 5 the lady emptied our dustbin. We were out the whole day. There was only someone at reception early in the mornings and not until 7 at night as advertised. We only had contact via sms with reception and informed them about the coffee and asked to clean our room.

Except for the things above, we had a lovely breakfast in the mornings.

The room was ok, not as good as the pictures but clean and comfortable.

hidden gem!!

my wife and i couldn’t have been more pleased here. very charming old building w modern renovation inside. friendliest ppl we’ve encountered in the 3 days we’ve been in czech republic. extremely clean. the breakfast buffet was tasty and organic. appreciated the call for the taxi. it’s located near the castle but away from the busier streets. best part was the friendly staff. will recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful visit

The hotel was in the heart of this beautiful Czech village. My room on the top floors was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good. The parking was much easier than other reviews state and that was because Leona guided me to the place and walked me back to the hotel. The dinners were very good, especially Veronika’s grandmother recipe.
There are other hotels that we stayed at that were very good, but this hotel is special. What makes it special is these two young ladies that add their personal touch.
We left several days ago and we already miss them and their beautiful place. We shall return!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Cesky Krumlov historic district. 300 m walk from parking area 1. Rooms were eclectic and large, very nice. Breakfast was very good and well managed. Only issue we had was with parking. To get the reduced parking rate of 6 euro/night vs 2 euro/hr you have to go to the tourist office in the town square and purchase a ticket, then go back to the parking area, pay for the parking time used to date and drive out and renter the parking area using the new ticket. Not very convenient.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town of Cesky Krumlov with all attractions just minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are large with a seperate spacious bathroom and I ur stay included breakfast. We arrived prior to check in (3pm) and staff were happy to hold our bags and provide us with a map and advice on what to do in the town. We only stayed on night but would highly recommend

Well decorated and restored historic hotel. They kept the old feel and modernized it was perfect balance. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect just a few meter from the river and the castle directly in the right spot of the old town.

We waited at the reception for over 30 minutes before I found someone to check us in. I called, but that did not speed up the process.
The room was small for 4 persons. It was a hot night. We had to open the windows in order to sleep.
Unfortunately, there were groups of people talking and laughing loudly on the street throughout the night. The noise become less frequent only after 4AM in the morning.

Our fairytale stay in Cesky!

We had a lovely stay in Cesky - and wish it was for longer! We stayed for one night in the family room, which was set for us with the pull out bed ready for my kids. The room was gorgeous and spacious enough - we loved the look of the antique heater!

Our only problem was that it was quite uncomfortably hot (we happened to visit the hottest day of the year, not much the hotel could have done about that), and pretty much no hotels in the area have air conditioning (we didn’t have a fan either, making it a bit too warm for a hot summer night) so that is something to consider when heading to Cesky in hot summer months. Any other time of year, we’d have no hesitation staying again and hope to be back someday soon!
