I’ve stayed at Jade Hotel a couple times now because of their comfortable accommodations, reasonable affordability, friendly service, and convenient location near various essentials. Looking forward to staying with them again for my next visit to Manila.

The Jade is 0nly 10 years old and is in great shape and has a pleasant atmosphere and has a nice friendly staff at your service 24/7. We ended up staying 4 days and will be back one day.

Toilet plugged up, hot water wasn't hot, elevator broke..had to take stairs twice. They ask 2000p...40.00us security deposit to cover the water bottles in the frig.

Cockroach motel

There were cockroaches in the room I was originally given, as well as in the two replacement rooms to which I was moved after complaining about the cockroaches. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was poor.

Needs a touch up

I have stayed here many times before in the past and had no problems but this time around there are so many bugs roaches and others can see the room needs to be cleaned better and maybe need to be repainted the shower has no water preasure the staff was great good breakfast all the employees were all good but the hotel needs a touch up,its not an ideal for a family to stay there not like in the past until the hotel gets a touch up and sprayed for bugs i won't stay again.i wish i would have taken photos.

Not a good place to stay

The room is outdated. There were ants in the sink because of some left over foods that were not cleaned or removed. There were hairs all over the floor. The AC was quite noisy but it cooled the room. The buffet breakfast was alright. Will not stay here again.

Doorman didn't lift a finger to help me get a heavy bag into the hotel. A lot of street noise all night. Advertised a great view of the city....maybe some rooms had that view but mine had a view of the back of a building.

Good value overall despite its shortcomings

Second room didn’t have mice, but there was evidence they had been there.

The room was smaller than the first room even though it was the same room type.

General cleanliness was a little poor. The showers need a good scrub.

The buffet breakfast needs some work.

Overall it is still good value for money and in a handy location.

Short stay prior to an overseas trip. This is the best value for money place in Manila that has all the necessities for a family, like, pool, included breakfast, on site parking, separate rooms, etc... however... it is in fairly poor condition.

We had mice in the first room that kept us awake rustling and trying to get into things during the night, including jumping on my wife’s face during the night.

The breakfast isn’t very good. It is a small selection and not well serviced by staff so things are cold or run out and you have to constantly ask for them to refill things and supply things.

We had to extend our stay and were moved to a different room. It had issues with the electrical system and the lights kept flickering all night even thought they were turned off.

The restaurant was ok, not great. It had enough choice to find something for everyone, but avoid the fish at all cost. It was terrible to the point we spat it out and didn’t eat it. The spaghetti was delicious though and their steaks were reasonably priced.

All in all, it still represented value compared to the others, and if we had to stay in Manila again, we would probably stay there again.

The hotel did not return the deposit to my wife. Claimed this was due to an early check in. Nothing was said about this at the time of check-in. I caution people not pay the deposit in cash so that the nefarious staff are tempted to steal it.

Bed is too small for 2 people. If you order room service and there is an event, they won’t accommodate you. Before check in, hotel staff was attentive responding to concerns, after that they ignored me. All in all I am not satisfied with this hotel.

We had no email back on extra bedding suffices so we had to chase up on arrival to do d out extra beds are available at 1000 extra a night. Should have been upfront on it.
Our room was next to the bar... boom boom boom til 10pm... not a biggie but young children don't need that. Overall it was fine to stay at

Nice getaway!

I would recommend this hotel!! There is a 7 eleven close by as well as fast food a store and cebuana bank. It is about ten minutes by taxi to the hopping nightlife area so easy to get to. Nice breakfast buffet and swimming pool overlooking the skyline.

Poorly maintained, sad place...

This place is like an old, poorly maintainded american sportscar from 80's. It doesn't have the grace of the ones from 60's nor has a muscles of ones from last decade. You sort of understand it's cool looks, but same time it's easier to park it at the scrap yard than bring back glory.
This hotel has seen better days - from outside it looks nice, lobby is decent, but everything else screams, oh god, why did i book it. Requires a serious paint job as well as series of fixings done. Water heater or smth like that is falling of the wall just as the soap holder which was broken, bathroom door handles are almost falling off, doors doesn't close. OK, i can live with that if staff doesn't notice those details.
But then we come to whites - all of it from bed (grey, with nasty stains) and to the towels in bathroom should been thrown out years ago together with pool chairs and some of furniture. Maybe wrong decision, but after what we saw in the room etc, we decided not to experiment with our health by using a pool. If they cannot maintain the simple stuff in the rooms, god knows how filthy might be the pool.
Hotel is obviously going to die - don't go there, let them run it's natural course. I see the potential it had years ago. Today it's just a sad, filthy place.

Useful location in central Makati

Needed a hotel in central Makati that had a pool, access to transport and walking distance to my office in Ayala. This ticked all boxes. Only (minor) issue is the hotel could do with some refurbishing. The rooms are nice, the pool was good and breakfast was fine. Just needs a little attention.
Finally, just make sure you have the security deposit (cash).h

The stay at Jade hotel was not that good the breakfast was terrible the pool was always filthy they never turn on the pump to clean it and when you did ask them to turn the pump on they always had an excuse it was disgusting in the pool there was hair and algae because of lack of using the pump trying to save on electricity a communion pool like that must have the pump on and you must put chlorine in the water which none of that was apparent

The pool was absolutely filthy disgusting not fit for swimming the pool pump was never turned on while I was here i asked them on numerous occasions to turn the pump on for the pool as there was kids swimming in there blowing their noses and I'd say probably urinating in the pool I will never ever stay at such filthy place the breakfast consisted of rice sausage hot dog everyday this hotel is definitely not for foreigners it is catering Fort r which have no conception of hygiene... the management are absolutely pathetic

2 stars, reasonable price but not easy to get to

Not a bad hotel, location is terrible not a single taxi knew where it was. Traffic was well over an hour to get to it from the airport and any place else. Staff was good but the towels and sheets were dirty. Grey not white as they once were. Comforter was stained and looked like it was not changed. No safe in the room. Outside were so many homeless kids it was depressing. Inaccessibility is the worst thing. Price was very reasonable but I would have preferred to stay somewhere else at double the price.

Pint sized room....not a good experience.

The room was less than 20 square meters. Pint sized. The bed was ok but the pillows were not comfortable. The location of the hotel is not good, but the price of the room was a decent value. The fountain shower was exceptionally good! The breakfast bar was dreadful! All of the food was cold. The food heaters were never turned on. The quality of the food was way below average. Juice was not changed from the day/night before. I gave up after my 2nd morning of lousy \"free\" breakfast, not to return. You do get what you pay for at this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here but there was a deal on when booking stay 10 nights get one night extra free but the hotel didn't no anything about it so after our 10 night we had to leave was not happy about this because we were not ready to leave so we had to pack there and then and leave .but the hotel is very nice food was great staff were helpful and friendly would stay again

Residential Area hotel.

Not near any tourist or shopping spots. Your choice of nearby restaurants are all unhealthy fast food chains.
The staff can not help with any tourist information. You can get your own cab faster than they will get one for you.
The pool is small but was never crowded. Direct light until about 3pm. Then it gets pretty chilly.
The cafe is only open for breakfast.
Thin walls and hard beds. Get used to the sounds of Roosters crowing all day and night.
Taxi drivers and Tour Services wont know the hotel which makes traveling very difficult. Be ready to haggle fora fair fare!
My advice? Find a more central hotel.
