Room was big and in good condition and the buffet breakfast is pretty good. I did like that the main dishes changed each day for variety. Staff were polite and helpful as you'd expect. The pool is quite nice on the rooftop. However, there are a number things with the room which haven't been thought out and could be improved.

The a/c is right over the bed and is really hard to set at a consistently comfortable temperature through-out the night. Housekeeping were really lovely and friendly but were not great at replacing everything each day. Some days I'd have to ask for towels, tissues, more tea and coffee sachets etc. There was a lipstick stain on the bed linen when I arrived and only one gown. The kitchen area has a hob and microwave but no bowls only plates and no pans at all so it would be impossible to use. Pretty disappointing over all

This is June the very best value for the money hotels in heart of Makati. Walkable to Greenbelt and all around immediate area. Great restos nearby a block away. Good gym and pool for travelers. Seem to have upgraded beds as ours had a pillow top or topper. BIG rooms and nice place. Staff is excellent. Our go to most times in Makati.

Place was ok overall. Some fixtures need to be fixed like the kitchen faucet and the bathroom towel rack. The faucet knob was worn out and not easy to turn or control. The towel rack was falling apart and about to detach from the wall. Guests probably hold onto it when getting out of the bathtub. You should install a grab bar for getting out of the tub. Dangerous for elderly.

Hotel was nice, staff was friendly. Only the bathroom was a little dirty near the sink and shower area. Kitchen was small but clean. The biggest problem was the mattress. It felt too hard and like laying on the box spring with very little padding. You could feel the springs poking through your back. They need a better mattress. Overall, place was good. Near drugstore, convenient store and restaurants.

The unit I was in, 2512 could use a bit of an update and thorough cleanliness. There was no outlet in the bathroom to plug-in the hairdryer and when I tried to use it outside in the main room, there is no mirror to look at. It was a bit inconvenient.

The lobby looks completely clean and was impressed with the quality of the personnel staffing the desk. Jerome was a very good night manager and then changed the days while I was there but he took charge of trying to keep everything in check so far as my reservation was concerned. I was very disappointed in the first room we went to it was not anything I expected when you order something like a queen sweet supposed to be premier and it was not it was anything but a sweet and the bathroom you could almost step into the toilet from the shower. So there are many other things I won't go into detail but I would not be staying at the Valero again if I came back to PI. They tried to make it right and the finishing touch was a roach crawling around the microwave oven in the room we had that was it that was out of there. Went to another hotel had nothing but praise for that one and cost about just the same per night. And I'll be doing review on that hotel on the Google maps and the website for the hotel itself. I would suggest somebody look somewhere else for a room and not the at the Valero. The street noise is tremendous I got very little sleep the time I was there.

Lovely hotel, nice staff and a decent room. Makati is a great area to stay in Manila and the hotel is in a good location.

However, the bed was the hardest bed we've ever slept in. It was like sleeping straight onto a slab of wood, impossible to get comfortable. We asked for extra duvets to put on top of the bed which helped ever so slightly for the second night still terrible. It was also fairly noisy.

I liked the location of the hotel, was about a 20 min walk to multiple shopping malls with grocery stores, and also a medical clinic. There was a bakery and fast food places across the street. The only things I didn't like were there that there were always a few nats flying around the hotel, and the shower was only half covered, so water splashes out

Loved every second of our stay!

The most huge and pleasant hotel I have ever stayed with. I mean I have been to Japan and Germany and stayed to a lot of hotels for work. For the price compared to hotels around ayala triangle this was the cheapest for a Family of four. I mean walk-in closets and 4 toilets with kitchen and two huge rooms and a sofa. With all rooms having televisions. And a washing machine! Loved the pool too! Thankss Valero Grand Suites Hotel!
