Lovely hotel with great staff. Abeer made us feel welcome. The servers at breakfast were utmost helpful, pleasant, accommodating and humble.
During our stay there was a conference and even a wedding. There was some noise and the breakfast was hectic, nevertheless we absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were perfect. The beds were huge. And the pool was lovely. Unfortunately the foodservice at the pool takes very long. That could have been better, maybe the pool should get their own kitchen, that might help.
My family and I loved our stay. Thank you all.

Excellent property, especially the location. We were in the spacious club room with a lovely view of the beach and sea. Two well kept infinity pools. Didn't try the restaurants (except for breakfast), gym or spa.

Housekeeping though is a bit sloppy. Forgets to replenish or replenishes different items on different days randomly. Also cleaning of washroom areas wasn't the best. Reception and restaurant staff also weren't very supportive or aa attentive as those at most other Taj properties are.

Great hotel with a young child (good swimming pools, kids room etc). Unfortunately we had a few issues with slow service and broken air conditioning.
Not very nice beaches nearby (including the beach accessed from the connecting hotel). Not the best location if you want to explore Goa

Terrible service during check-in and checkout .. I almost missed my flight due to mismanaged checkout process.
BLD restaurant at the hotel has terrible service. Tables were not clean, silverware was not available. Bar service was very slow. Had to wait for 1 hour to get my first drink. The servers seemed unresponsive to repeated requests to check on my drinks and food.

We chose the hotel for the location, private beach access and the wonderful room; the experience was elevated exponentially by the entire team. Particularly Manisha who checked us in and organized a beautiful room decorating for our celebration. Also Suvo at BLD restaurant who was uber responsive serving with a smile. Not to forget the amazing team working tirelessly like the chefs, house keeping, and managers.

Bed looked like it had been slept in. Mold and rust in shower. Shower drain was blocked. Staff kept redirecting us to a la carte breakfast instead of buffet which we preferred. Had to ask for glasses in room. Staff hanging around in lobby but no one offered to take luggage out to car until we asked. No one at the door to receive guests. Definitely not a five star experience. Food at the buffet was fresh and common areas well maintained.

This hotel in Goa was an amazing experience from check in to check out. The staff were friendly, helpful and advised you on your stay. The hotel throughout was clean modern, as were the rooms. The rooms with the Seaview are superior and some of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, with the modern touches making it feel extra special.

Staying at this hotel gave you the best of both with having access to the sister hotel which allowed us to use there facilities, pool and private beach access.

The SPA was a lovely experience which with the added touches and the views making it an extra special experience.

I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Terrible and unfriendly duty manager!

The front desk staff is too stiff and unfriendly. Time and again i have experienced that they will never consider any of your request on room choices…they won’t make any changes how much ever you request them. One of my earlier stay I was charged for the room though I had already informed I will be checking out as my plans changed but the duty manager refused to waive off the room charges though I was checking out at noon and leaving the room free for their next guest. Super annoying and surprised to see how the Tata group hospitality values are being tarnished by these ground level, uncultured front desk staff.

We stayed at Taj Cidade Horizon and it is a gorgeous hotel with a modern decor offering expansive views of the Arabian Sea. It has a small private beach which is lovely but no big waves as it is in a bay. We loved swimming in the warm sea waters. The hotel also has a couple of different pools and our favourite was the infinity pool on the 10th floor overlooking the sea.
The staff is fantastic and they really add soul to this place. They treated us like family and were always so insistent on arranging things for us like packing up some fruits when we were checking out, remembering all our food preferences and even customizing foods to our taste. Special mention to the restaurant staff Sujatha, Rakesh, Krishnakant and Ritu who were always cheerful

The rooms and suites are pure luxury—spacious, impeccably designed, and equipped with world-class amenities. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying my morning coffee on the private balcony overlooking the sea was an experience I will cherish forever.

The culinary experience at Taj Goa is simply divine. From authentic Goan delicacies to global gourmet dishes, every meal was a gastronomic delight. The seafood, in particular, was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff’s attention to detail and personalized service made every dining experience exceptional.

The hospitality at Taj is what sets it apart. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel special and well taken care of. Whether it was arranging a private beach dinner, organizing personalized excursions, or simply remembering my preferences, their service was flawless.

The spa and wellness center was another highlight. After a relaxing massage at the Jiva Spa, I felt completely rejuvenated. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was the perfect.

Our stay was good for 3 nights as that’s enough if you have a small child otherwise it gets boring after that. We added a half board which was convenient but they added it to the bill as extras. It was sorted at check out but shouldn’t have happened as it’s a taj group and you don’t expect that to happen.The view from the window was stunning.

Our trip to the Taj property did not meet the expectations that ones looks for when visiting a 5 star hotel.
To begin with,
1) when we reached hotel, there was no one to welcome us. I reached out to staff member who took my Id and asked me to wait. While i was waiting with my family, no one offered any beverage.

2) After waiting for what seemed like a long time we decided to head for lunch. The staff member said they will hand us the key at the restaurant. The staff lady came to meet us to give us back our IDs and share the property itinerary sheet but not the keys.

3) so again after finishing out lunch we had to still go back to the reception asking for our oeys which took additional 10 mins.

4) No one gave us the property tour and so when we were ready to hit the pool we were not sure where to head. Had to go back to the reception asking for help, which then they provided. But by then we were super frustrated.

5) the air condition of the room was not working well, it had spots in the room where it felt hot while other side felt super cold. We complained and the technician came to check the air which he said was working but even after we explained the issue all we got the response was to give it 0 mins to cool then. Long story short till the end our stay it did not get fixed. We did complain second time at the reception and were told they will send portable fan which never was delivered.

6) in room dining was always late and food cold.

Overall.thr property was clean. But service was mediocre..Sauna didnt work when we wanted to use it and were told to come next day but we were checking out so cudnt use it. Frontdesk says they would deliver your request but we get it to our room 5 hours later..Be careful of the local taxi people hired from the hotel..they take you for a ride drop you off n not show up n keep you waiting while the hotel charges for extra kms and what not..no compensation offered for in convenience..on the pricey side but nothing too special for the money paid..Do research before booking..

We had booked the Marriott resort and spa. However our stay at Marriott resort and spa didn't match our expectations. That's why we decided to go to Taj horizon as we didn't want to ruin our anniversary at Marriott. Taj horizon is one of the best hotel in Goa.I lived the view from our room. All the staff were curtious and welcoming. The food and ambience were amazing. Overall I'm really glad ☺️

Our stay at the Taj Cidade De Goa Horizon was just simply fantastic. This is our second time staying at this wonderful Hotel. We loved our stay so much that we extended it to another 3 more days. We would like to give a shout out and comment on the exceptional service by the following staff. 1. Vishaka - at the Reservations was just awesome . 2. Meena - the server at the Restaurant for our breakfast 3. Bhanu - the server at the Restaurant for our breakfast - both the servers were very quick in their service towards us. Lovely hotel, we enjoyed our stay!
Only downfall is the amount of people in the breakfast room, not controlled and pushing to get things, just felt a bit out of sorts.
Staff also couldn’t understand when we requested the Breakfast by the Sea option listed on their welcome leaflet, so we did not partake in this paid extra activity.
