This was a last minute reservation and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The location was prime and the property was beautiful. The staff were all wonderful and kind. The breakfast served was huge and such high quality! I wish I could have eaten more.

Highly recommend staying here if you need a place in Ephesus!

Can’t recommend the Livia Garden Hotel enough. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to ensure that you are well looked after. Fantastic Turkish breakfast to start the day and wonderful location with easy access to Ephesus, The Temple of Artemis, St John’s Church, the Mosque and the Aqueduct. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Thank you Erdam and team.

Excellent choix à Selcuk.
Joli petit hôtel bien entretenu.
Près de la Basilique.
Plusieurs restaurants et centre-ville tout près.
Bon restaurant sur place.
Belle piscine.
Seul bémol: les cocktails sont à un prix exorbitants.
Ça vaut quand même la peine de choisir cet hôtel. Excellent séjour.

Hotel is very well maintained, rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, probably the best breakfast I had during my stay in Turkey. I also had dinner at their restaurant, and I would highly recommend this place for high-quality delicious food. The location of the hotel is very central, making it walkable to places of interest, also the shopping area.

The Livia Garden Hotel is superb! It’s historic yet has ultra modern conveniences. As much as I loved the hotel design, the welcoming and friendly staff was even better! Fantastic location in most charming town. I highly recommend stopping over in Selcuk just to stay here! We stayed two nights and I didn’t want to leave! Perfection!

The rooms and bedding are super comfortable and the breakfast is one of the best we’ve had! They prepare it fresh and solely for each room booking, they even asked us how we’d like our coffee/tea and also how we’d like our eggs cooked. A great boutique hotel in a quiet neighborhood a few minutes of walk to the St. John Basilica ruins and the Ephesus Museum. The nice restaurant of Mekan Sofas just around the corner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The manager made arrangement for our airport transfer in the early morning. The included breakfast is amazing with multiple Turkish meat, cheese, olive, fruits and deserts. The pool is also a great relief in the hot August afternoon. The whole property is just idyllic.

We had such a wonderful stay at Terra Cave Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect—close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with charming details that made it feel extra special. One of the highlights was the beautiful terrace, where we enjoyed stunning views of the hot air balloons floating over Cappadocia at sunrise. Truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The Livia Garden Hotel is an absolute gem!
From the moment we arrived until the day we left we were treated like royalty. The service was excellent and the breakfasts were truly epic!
The rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable; the garden was a lovely spot to rest and have a glass of something in the shade or at the end of the day. The location was perfect for us to explore Ephesus and the rest of the area - the local bus service was great, nearby and very easy to use.
Erdem and the rest of the staff were friendly, professional and made us feel so welcome; they were a great source of information about local restaurants and places of interest. They were also really helpful in arranging the airport transfers and taxis when we needed them.
They also kindly allowed us to keep one of our rooms for a late checkout as we had a late flight and really looked after us.
This was our first visit to Turkey and I genuinely can't think of anything negative to say about our stay - I am very happy to recommend the hotel.

Wonderful garden hotel, well located near the centre of Selcuk and within walking distance to the museum, the basilica of St. John, Ephesus. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, the host make me feel at home from the first day I arrived and give lots of suggestion for my 3 day stay. An excellent Turkish breakfast was served every morning in the garden by the pool to get your day started before exploring. I highly recommended this hotel and I definitely will stay again.

The nice surprise of our trip

The town of Selcuk in general, and the Livia Garden Hotel in particular, have been the nice surprise of our trip. The hotel was expertly integrated into the town environment and both our friends and ourselves we loved the surroundings and the easy walk to the town center. Erdem, the hotel Manager, was simply amazing. Thank you, Erdem, for all your efforts, friendliness and efficiency.
When, in the future, we consider another trip to the region, the Livia Garden Hotel, and Selcuk, will definitely be our first choice.

We were there for less than 24 hours as we were only in town to visit Ephesus (at night) as the first stop on our two-week trip through Turkiye but the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the AC was ice cold. The shower was a on the small side but the rest of the room was a good size. It has a nice looking outdoor pool which we unfortunately didn’t get to try before we left early in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially at this price point.

We stayed at a lot of lovely properties with nice hosts throughout Turkey but nothing can compare to the Livia Garden Hotel. The host was AMAZING. He was friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful. The property itself was beautiful. Modern facilities with old world charm, a nice pool, wonderful breakfasts and very comfortable beds.
This was by far, our favorite place to stay!

Lovely boutique hotel and host!

The Livia Garden is a lovely boutique hotel and Arden is a wonderful host providing ideas and support for your travel needs. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast for one night as we headed to Ephesus early the next morning. The rooms are clean and the staff are attentive. The street adjacent at night has a good welcoming vibe for coffee/drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful boutique property in the historic Ephesus area. The small hotel is set back on a quiet side street enclosed behind a wall and has a beautiful garden / landscaped area, swimming pool and small restaurant that also serves snacks and drinks. The owner/managers are very helpful and clearly love the property and area. The rooms are nice and uniquely decorated. The property feels very serene. We walked a couple of doors down to Sofas which was an amazing restaurant that seemed to be visited by locals as well. There were a couple of other restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast at the hotel was AMAZING!! Give yourself enough time to enjoy it!!! A family prepares an incredible Turkish breakfast with eggs made to order. I would recommend booking your tour through the hotel as they know the local guides. I wish we could have stayed longer at this gem!!

Fantastic place to stay in Selcuk. It’s only a couple of years old so everything is in good condition and well maintained, with the charm of an authentic boutique hotel. Super friendly staff and owner who greeted us warmly after our long drive. We stayed two nights and enjoyed a lovely breakfast both days. Highlight for us was the mandarins we enjoyed from their trees.

Everyone was very accommodating. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet and within walking distance of several sites and dining options. As we have found during our travels in Turkey, the area around the hotel is shabby but it did feel safe. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of items to choose from.

If you are looking for a good tour (I would highly recommend getting a tour as there are a lot of things to see) Find Mehmet at NO FRILLS EPHESUS TOURS.
WWW.EPHESUS.CO It's not cheap but a great tour with good information and they will not take you to carpet and fur salesmen. We only a had one full day to take in Ephesus so did his full day tour and did it all (9-5pm)

Unfortunately there was a dog that barked most of the night so we didn’t sleep great but that isn’t the fault of the hotel. Super quick walk to the beach and a short drive into old town.

Breakfast was very good. We were there only for one night. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to go to Ephesus and Mary’s house and also arranged a van to take us to the Izmir airport. This hotel was easy to find and very convenient for both Ephesus and for the town for dinner etc. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including giving us the tip to go as early as possible to beat the crowds of tour buses at Ephesus……it worked. The breakfast here was superb, home made jams and such a selection. Also a nice bar by the pool to have a drink and relax. Would highly recommend straying here.

It is a beautiful property. We checked in mid-day on 23-08-22. The young man that greeted us upon arrival and checked us in was very friendly and helpful. He helped us get around Selcuk by marking on a map what to see and how to get around. Our room was clean and lovely with a nice view overlooking the court yard. Our evening meal and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Staying at Livia Garden Hotel was a wonderful experience. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Highly recommend, Livia Garden and staff definitely made our holiday in Turkiye perfect, thank you!
