Nice sized room, we had a private Turkish bath, which we enjoyed. Breakfast staff was friendly and we enjoyed sitting by the pool after a long day of sightseeing. Convenient parking lot adjacent to the hotel.

Our bathroom had a door, but similar to other concerns, there was limited sound privacy. The elevator set up is unusual, with the doors opening into a staircase landing requiring guests to go up or down half a flight of stairs. We didn't have an challenges, but those with limited mobility or very large suitcases may have an issue

My wife and I stayed here while travelling in Turkey. We picked it based on high quality reviews & good pricing. Initially when we arrived it did not look at all like the pictures so we were of course disappointed. The pics online show the exterior in immaculate manicured condition but it was far from that. The sauna it advertised did not work. The pool had no water in it, but it was winter time. There is no Spa so not sure why they call it & Spa. Not sure if it was under new ownership or not. While there they were working on some of that to make it better but still not like the pics. That said, the staff were excellent and helpful. The morning breakfast was quite good and made fresh each AM. The ladies working there were great! Location is great too. Very close, walking distance, to several shopping sites and/or food/markets. It is about a 12 min drive to House of Mary & Ephesus ruins. Staff helped arranged a well priced rental car to come to the hotel. Rooms were quite good & big. TV sucks though. All channels in foreign languages & no ability to add your Netflix account. That would be a good & necessary improvement for sure. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

A peaceful spot

The room was spacious and clean. Love that the vanity, shower and toilet were separated spaces so that we could freshen up at the same time.
We had restful sleep on a comfortable bed. We love the view of the peach farm and the mountain in the distance. In the morning, it was beautiful to see the fog lifting up over the orchard as the sun rose.
Breakfast was a sufficient spread. Enjoyed the breakfast room with various seating arrangement and styles.
Special thanks to Hasan who helped us with the booking for the Ephesus tour with a very good guide.

It’s one of those hotels that looks nice outside but horrible inside.

The design of the hotel, where the elevators are located in between stairs, is mind boggling. You still need to carry your luggages either up or down a flight of stairs reach your room.

The room, while adequate in size, is in need of a reno or update. Some of the lights are broken. The bathroom tile grout is dirty, showers clogged with calcium deposits, hand shower holder is broken as well. The property really is in need of repair.

The upside is, it is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood with a great view of the mountains. Parking is big. It is also very near the Ephesus
Museum, Ephesus, Home of Virgin Mary and Kusadasi.

Unless the property is renovated, I won’t be a repeat customer.

The hotel is well decorated. The owner is friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Cella Boutique Hotel

Third time we have stayed at this hotel and we love it! Definitely an excellent find for us 8 years ago and we will go back although some signs of wear and tear starting to show - fixtures broken and in disrepair i.e. sunbeds, door handles, hairdryer and towels had seen much better days. Sadly it is ageing and it is showing now needs some TLC but still a fabulous hotel. Our room didn't have the soap and items expected for turkish bath which we had been provided with on previous days and no coffee pods as expected. All day snacks and spa no longer available and this was disappointing. Breakfast choices limited compared to previous years?

Good hotel but very poor service

Had a bad stay this week at Cella. While the hotel room had good amenities , the hotel had poor services to offer for an international customer. Here are the list of issues -

- the manager did not understand proper English. We had a tough time to get our requests addressed to even after we were willing to pay more
- no vegetarian options in breakfast. One had to feel contended with bread and butter only
- basic amenities like toiletries (tooth paste, brush) weren’t available
- AC wasnt controllable within the room. One had to inform the receptionist to change it everytime which is extremely pathetic
- the hotel had cycles to offer but when asked the manager mentioned that none of them were working which seemed to be a lie

Overall disappointing experience. Would recommend to avoid it if you are a foreigner who doesn’t know Turkish.
