What a gem of a place! **Celsus Boutique Hotel** is absolutely gorgeous. It may look small from the outside, but the property is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The entire property is immaculate and exceptionally clean.
The swimming pool is a wonderful addition and the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is served on the hotel's beautiful patio, creating a peaceful and enjoyable start to the day.
The owners are absolutely wonderful and incredibly kind. They made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help, making our stay even more memorable.
The location is excellent—just a short walk to numerous restaurants and the main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

We were so happily surprised to find this amazing hotel in Celçuk!! The rooms are big and airy, perfectly clean. The furniture is beautiful, the location wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and agreeable. We loved our stay at Selsus Boutique Hotel...as we were leaving, we hoped that we could stay a few more days and just relax.
Ross
The best place to stay in Selcuk! A truly beautiful hotel. Tastefully decorated and beautifully built. Everything is perfect from the comfortable beds, bathroom facilities and the most delicious and extensive Turkish breakfast you'll ever have. Super friendly people. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Celsus Boutique Hotel is an adorable family-owned hotel that we had the privilege of staying in for 2 nights. The staff is a family that made our stay very warm and special by always being welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was truly amazing, with a buffet of fresh food served in a beautiful patio.
We would absolutely return, not only for the lovely location and amazing food, but especially for the wonderful people who made the experience so special!!

Very clean and well situated hotel with lovely rooms and friendly staff as well a great breakfast.
The hotel organized a private tour guide and driver for us to visit Ephesus as well as Pamukkale over the 2 days we visited. It was very enjoyable and highly recommended.

The stay was amazing. The owners are very attentive, very friendly, always ready to help. The rooms are very clean and carry a personable touch, beds are very comfortable. Hotel is close to good restaurants and sites. Parking is close to hotel. The food is amazing and plenty of variety. I will always come back to the Celsus as they feel like friends as well.
Julie
Great location! Attentive, helpful family run hotel with attention to detail. Property is an immaculate, well maintained charming old stone building. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the assortment of dips. Staff helped with transportation logistics.
Adriana
Beautiful and cozy hotel. The staff was very friendly.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful (even if I didn't speak Turkish). The room was clean and nicely decorated. The shower is new and modern. The entire property is well maintained & it is clear they took pride in making it beautiful. The breakfast is included at the price of the room and it was.great. They had a cold buffet and you could order hot items if you'd like (eggs...). There was an outside pool, but it was too cold to try it out.

We lucked in finding these guys , we had a lovely stay in this family owned hotel .
Nothing was too much trouble , from helping us to arrange a tour of Ephesus to restaurant recommendations and more .
The Turkish breakfast was something we looked forward to getting up for each morning . All the cakes and bread were made fresh each day by their in-house breakfast cook .
Thank you for looking after us , your smiles and cheerfulness made such a difference to our
holiday .
We will be back for sure

All the staff are friendly and helpful. The check in was quite fast so after a long day it was nice to get to our rooms quickly. Although it is a newer Hotel, the design is like you are in a luxurious old hotel. I have a gluten allergy and they went to market to buy me some gluten free bread. The breakfast was quite tasty, nicely prepared and presented.
Mark
Beautiful place! Spent a few nights here with two children to visit Ephesus and surrounding area. Owners were so kind and helpful, the place was spacious and beautiful, in the old part of town. We walked to and from Ephesus and visited also the Temple of Artemis. Breakfast was also outstanding. Loved it, thank you!
Charles
Fantastic stay and welcome by the host - breakfast and room were excellent.

My stay at Celsus was absolutely perfect! The room was large and comfortable, gorgeous view, mini fridge that worked very well, and helpful and friendly staff. There were lots of shops and dining options within a few minutes walk of the hotel and the location felt very safe, even at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or family member and hope to stay here again someday!
Carol
We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Charming boutique hotel. Great location.
Nelly
Room was clean. Staff very polite, helpful and very friendly. Very close from 3 major historical sites as advertised. Short drive to Ephesus ruins. One of the best looking boutiques hotels in the area as well as convenient location.
ALEJANDRA
This hotel is unique. I was really happy to see how to clean it was. I only stayed one night, but I have a friend who will be coming next week and I have recommend this hotel for her to stay. Staff is friendly.
jacinta
Location was great, room itself & pool area very nice. Breakfast adequate. The room described which I booked included a yard/patio but was not the room we were given. Rooms did have balconies but ours did not even though I had booked 6 months in advance & paid extra for this. The staff attitude was I don’t know why that happened- this is the only option you have. Was very disappointed
Ziang
Lovely stay.
Paula
Lots of character and the owners are lovely and helpful. Rooms are large by European standards. Great location next to sights and a pedestrian shopping/eating zone. Will recommend to all my friends.
Mark
A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. A great breakfast every morning. And a refreshing pool. Highly recommend
Lisa
This hotel is simply beautiful. It is uniquely laid out, with a variety of room options for different numbers of guests. I would say if mobility is an issue, this is not the space for you, but if not, you should definitely stay here. It is conveniently located for a trip to Ephesus, and across the main road is a charming area to shop and eat. The room we chose had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Sadly, we had to leave very early and were unable to enjoy the breakfast in the pretty indoor/outdoor space.
Evelyn
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Celsus Hotel. Ephesus (archeological site) was only 9 min drive away. While it was hot outside, we enjoyed a cool room with AC and pool to cool down in. I highly recommend this gem of a spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 5-star, too!

Celsus Boutique Hotel was a fantastic base for our stay in Selçuk. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The location is excellent — just a short drive (under 10 minutes) to Ephesus and only a 4-minute walk to the Basilica of St. John. Great local restaurants are also within easy reach.
The property is spotless, and our room was very comfortable. Parking our rental car was easy and convenient. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and delicious every morning.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi in the room, which was slow and intermittent. That said, the connection in the lobby was excellent — I had two video meetings there without any issues.
Overall, highly recommended and I would definitely stay again.

Celsus hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly, the hotel quaint, newly renovated and absolutely wonderful. They were courteous to have the roll away bed brought in a set up prior to our arrival and without even asking (they noticed we were a family of four with small children), and had the AC on to cook the room. During check in our hostess was friendly and gave us a bit of information on local history and sites to check out and she was spot on! I did t realize how close and walkable the area was to historical sites, cafes, and shopping. A must stop for your travels!

The pool area is magical. LIke a little oasis. It is a around the corner from Basilica of St John. We stayed in the family suite for 4 people. It was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful. It was an excellent value.

Excellent hospitality. Absolutely charming. The breakfast was excellent. In a nice part of town. We loved our stay!
Ioana
Gorgeous family-run hotel! The rooms are so tastefully decorated, you'll want to tiptoe around. And the breakfast buffet? Amazing – the best of our whole trip; fresh stuff and eggs cooked to order. Mom and I loved it so much, we extended our stay. Big thanks to Dünyam and Malik – they were super helpful and friendly.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s just minutes from Ayasuluk Castle and a pleasant walk to the Ephesus ruins if you don’t mind walking for about an hour. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were well-appointed with thoughtful details, and the breakfast was nicely presented and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Greg
Great hotel, great location.
This was a quaint little hotel with everything you needed. It was about a 2 minute walk from many attractions. The hosts spoke great English and were very kind. A great hotel!

Amazing and friendly hotel staff, hope to go back!
Lovely stay at Celsus! Our family really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and caring. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to start your day. They can also help you arrange an airport transfer and tours around the area. The room was also one of the best rooms we had during our time in Türkiye. Hope to go back one day!

Situated in the town of Selcuk, this boutique hotel has a unique charm and beauty. The room carries an old scent, reflecting the age of the hotel, which adds to its character. The morning staff are wonderful—attentive and eager to meet our every need.
Philip
A great boutique hotel & well furnished. Excellent friendly staff.
Breakfast was fantastic.

We were extremely happy with our stay, the minute we got There a young man parked our car and carried our luggage to our room. He was so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend this cute boutique.
Richard
Hotel was in a good, convenient location, close to shops, restaurants and bus and train stations. Good breakfast options. Staff was very responsive to questions and requests for suggestions. There was some repeated noise issues with barking dogs. Also, the hotel is close to a mosque so you can hear the amplifed call to prayers. But fortunately, neither noise issue interrupted my sleep.
David
Beautiful small hotel. Great breakfast! Nice pool
Nikhil
The only issue with this hotel is that there is no elevator; so if any mobility issues then may be a problem. It is on a very hilly slope and even to get to the reception area from the street involves several steps. But I w believe no buildings in Selcuk are allowed elevators due to archeological reasons . Otherwise excellent location, staff very helpful.
James
Charming room and hotel but pretty bright during the night. Bed was hard as usual. Great location, breakfast, AC and shower.
Mehmet
Location excellent - walked to St. John's Basilica. Very nice decor in rooms.
PEDRO
The property is very well located near all the major attractions. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and tendered to all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel. Many awesome restaurants within walking distance

Wonderful stay
I stayed in a room overlooking the pool with my two teen boys. We all appreciated having our own beds. Breakfast each morning was fresh and had great variety. The pool was an afternoon treat to cool off during the hottest part of the day. We loved our stay.
laura
Beautiful area with flowers growing everywhere! The room was gorgeous and looked directly put over the pool. The room was impeccable and had a nicely stocked minibar. Staff were welcoming and very hospitable! Breakfast was included and was super tasty with a variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Tracey
A beautiful boutique hotel with an amazing staff. They all went out of their way to provide support and assistance which we truly appreciated. And the rooms and facilities are lovely. We also liked the location as it was easy to get to key places. It was a wonderful stay and we would absolutely return and highly recommend the Celsus!
Victoria
Absolutely amazing and charming hotel. Best location, convenient to the sights and shopping. Fantastic quality of service, very helpful with transportation
Julie
We enjoyed this boutique hotel. The staff was wonderful. We ended up staying an additional night. It is one hour walk to Ephesus. It easy to get there from the hotel. The museum is about a 5 minutes walk. We recommend this hotel.

The breakfast could use some help. It was lacking in the basic necessities for US travelers i.e. no fruit and need better bread options such waffles.

The hotel was located on a quiet little street just a few minutes walk to the town center. The room and the buildings, the pool, and little courtyards were very nicely detailed and very well maintained. The breakfasts were superb with lots of local produce and fresh pomegranate juice. We loved the friendly and very helpful staff: they arranged transfers from and to the airport at Izmir, booked a tour of Ephesus, and provided us with lots of information about the local area including a very good restaurant.
Gina
Quite lovely
So amazing! The staff went above and beyond!!! So will come again! A must stay.
Moises
Our host was lovely. She was so attentive a caring. She organized our tours to Ephesus and to Pamukkale she was on top of things. Her radiant presence was the best part of our stay at Celsus, plus we really appreciate the love for the cats that roam the hotel, she feeds the, she treats them if they are sick (we observed that) she stole our hearts.
Edmo
Great staff and a great option to stay.
Vipin
A boutique property in Seljuk, close to Ephesus and other attractions in the area. Nicely appointed and clean. Lovely breakfast
Kyle
Very much style over substance. The room and space looked wonderful, but the actual materials seemed cheap and unpleasant, the shower didn't work properly, and getting in/out of the room was a bit of a hassle with multiple doors each needing to be hand unlocked/locked.
Martha
Everything was really perfect. Beautiful hotel
Whitney
Stayed one night following a day at Ephesus. The staff were very accommodating and the room was fabulous and spacious! Breakfast was delicious. We only wish we would have stayed longer.

Quite surprising and delightful
This is very charming hotel run by exceptional people. A lot much nicer than the pictures. Location could not be better. It is a gen of a place that we will surely return to...

We loved staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. And the pool was very refreshing after a long day touring Ephesus. The property is convenient to many coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommended Celsus.

Very nice hotel, with an impressive architecture and rustic finishes. The staff is super kind and does everything in their power to make you feel at home. Delicious breakfast and tons of restaurants at walking distance. Excellent spot for a short stay at Izmir.

Best place in Selçuk
Amazing place to stay with a wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and spotless - and even better in person than in the photos. Delicious breakfast. The location is great and it’s very quiet at night. I would be happy to stay there again.
Ali
Value you get is outstanding. Room was spacious and amenities are excellent. We felt like royalty. Cannit say enough about how beautiful the place is. Driving through narrow streets to get to it was a bit challenging but if you are patient and drive slow, it is well worth it and you will not be disappointed.
AJAY
A lovely charming hotel where the hotel staff was really nice. It is close to all the main attractions and within walking distance of good restaurants. The included breakfast was also very good. Definitely book this hotel as you will enjoy your stay. The rooms were really nice (we booked 2) and well stocked with all the amenities.

Well kept hotel. Very nice owner and staff. Very helpful. Our room overlooked the pool. Wonderful breakfast. Table and chairs in the room. Large enough to spread out our luggage. We were able to walk to town.

A Gem in a Great Location
This hotel is a gem. It's in a great location, just by the ruins and the historic sites. Sal and the staff are super friendly and extended a very warm welcome, and are very accommodating. Whatever you need, they'll get it. The room was terrific, and the morning breakfast was the best. Thank you, Sal, and your staff, for a wonderful and memorable stay,

Celsus Boutique was an incredible hotel for our trip to Selçuk! All staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was cute, charming, and overall excellent. Breakfast was truly a gem and was the bow to complete this gift of a hotel!
Verified traveler
Nice boutique hotel, favorable location near restaurants and grocery shops, good breakfast selection, parking is on the street as opposed to in a private lot, room and amenities could benefit from more upkeep and maintenance. Reaching reception involves a steep flight of stairs, which could be inconvenient for people with limited mobility or heavy bags.
Suraiya
Beautiful property with a very helpful staff.
Kim
Lovely, large room, but cleaning, tidying of room was only minimal and cursory at best.
Over-rated breakfast - could have had some variations as seeing n eating the same stuff for 3 days. Just a change of one or two stuff on the plate in front of you can make a big difference every morning and Why play such ridiculous program on tv every morning during breakfast which is if no interest for anyone and not reflective of the hotel’s ambiance.
Staff could be be more welcoming and smiling as they all look so stern. Relax, smile and learn to say things like “hello”, “thank you for staying” to guests rather than keeping quiet and glum - this will create a better overall image for your hotel.
