Beautiful place! Spent a few nights here with two children to visit Ephesus and surrounding area. Owners were so kind and helpful, the place was spacious and beautiful, in the old part of town. We walked to and from Ephesus and visited also the Temple of Artemis. Breakfast was also outstanding. Loved it, thank you!

My stay at Celsus was absolutely perfect! The room was large and comfortable, gorgeous view, mini fridge that worked very well, and helpful and friendly staff. There were lots of shops and dining options within a few minutes walk of the hotel and the location felt very safe, even at night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or family member and hope to stay here again someday!

Rooms did have balconies but ours did not even though I had booked 6 months in advance & paid extra for this. The staff attitude was I don’t know why that happened- this is the only option you have. This hotel is simply beautiful. It is uniquely laid out, with a variety of room options for different numbers of guests. I would say if mobility is an issue, this is not the space for you, but if not, you should definitely stay here. It is conveniently located for a trip to Ephesus, and across the main road is a charming area to shop and eat. The room we chose had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. Sadly, we had to leave very early and were unable to enjoy the breakfast in the pretty indoor/outdoor space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Celsus Hotel. Ephesus (archeological site) was only 9 min drive away. While it was hot outside, we enjoyed a cool room with AC and pool to cool down in. I highly recommend this gem of a spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 5-star, too!

Celsus Boutique Hotel was a fantastic base for our stay in Selçuk. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The location is excellent — just a short drive (under 10 minutes) to Ephesus and only a 4-minute walk to the Basilica of St. John. Great local restaurants are also within easy reach.

The property is spotless, and our room was very comfortable. Parking our rental car was easy and convenient. Breakfast was generous, fresh, and delicious every morning.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi in the room, which was slow and intermittent. That said, the connection in the lobby was excellent — I had two video meetings there without any issues.

Overall, highly recommended and I would definitely stay again.

Celsus hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly, the hotel quaint, newly renovated and absolutely wonderful. They were courteous to have the roll away bed brought in a set up prior to our arrival and without even asking (they noticed we were a family of four with small children), and had the AC on to cook the room. During check in our hostess was friendly and gave us a bit of information on local history and sites to check out and she was spot on! I did t realize how close and walkable the area was to historical sites, cafes, and shopping. A must stop for your travels!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it. It’s just minutes from Ayasuluk Castle and a pleasant walk to the Ephesus ruins if you don’t mind walking for about an hour. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were well-appointed with thoughtful details, and the breakfast was nicely presented and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was in a good, convenient location, close to shops, restaurants and bus and train stations. Good breakfast options. Staff was very responsive to questions and requests for suggestions. There was some repeated noise issues with barking dogs. Also, the hotel is close to a mosque so you can hear the amplifed call to prayers. But fortunately, neither noise issue interrupted my sleep.

The only issue with this hotel is that there is no elevator; so if any mobility issues then may be a problem. It is on a very hilly slope and even to get to the reception area from the street involves several steps. But I w believe no buildings in Selcuk are allowed elevators due to archeological reasons . Otherwise excellent location, staff very helpful.

The hotel was located on a quiet little street just a few minutes walk to the town center. The room and the buildings, the pool, and little courtyards were very nicely detailed and very well maintained. The breakfasts were superb with lots of local produce and fresh pomegranate juice. We loved the friendly and very helpful staff: they arranged transfers from and to the airport at Izmir, booked a tour of Ephesus, and provided us with lots of information about the local area including a very good restaurant.

Lovely, large room, but cleaning, tidying of room was only minimal and cursory at best.
Over-rated breakfast - could have had some variations as seeing n eating the same stuff for 3 days. Just a change of one or two stuff on the plate in front of you can make a big difference every morning and Why play such ridiculous program on tv every morning during breakfast which is if no interest for anyone and not reflective of the hotel’s ambiance.
Staff could be be more welcoming and smiling as they all look so stern. Relax, smile and learn to say things like “hello”, “thank you for staying” to guests rather than keeping quiet and glum - this will create a better overall image for your hotel.

It’s relatively newer property. The front desk and greeting staff are attentive, and breakfast is good. Location is excellent to walk to a few important historic sites. The exception was, we were asked if we wanted our room cleaned, we said yes. However, when we returned to our room at the end of the day, only the bath towels were nicely folded and our beds were made. Bathroom was not cleaned at all. The tips we left for the cleaners were not taken either. I don’t know if there’s a communication problem or just an oversight of the cleaning people.

The property is very clean and staff is very helpful. I feel like home. The room is larger than I expected. I like the decoration of the room and the entire property with antique feature. I enjoyed fresh authentic turkey breakfast as well . It is also in a very convenient location.
