Walking into the tea shop, the aroma of the tea with the brown sugar was delightful. When we got to our room, it was amazingly clean, bright and large. The hostess was wonderful, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything and offering suggestions on where to eat and what to see.

Our stay at the Sun Moon Tea Hotel was perfect. The entire hotel was spotless and very quiet. Our host was slso very friendly and replied promptly to all my questions prior to our arrival. During our stay, she was also very helpful with suggestions and information.
We were upgraded to a suite and the suite was amazing. I would book here again without hesitation.

The property is very convenient, just about 100 meters from the Sun and Moon Lake bus stop. There are a lot of shops and restaurants on the street. The room is very clean and quiet. The owner is very friendly and explain things in detail. She provided advice on transportation and tour options and also sold the boat ticket at discount price. I will definitely stay in this place next time I visit Taiwan.

This is a charming B&B with a super friendly owner. Wendy greeted us very warmly with a welcome drink of tea, gave us activity and restaurant suggestions, and treated us very kindly throughout our stay. As a family of six, we stayed in the deluxe loft, two bedrooms and had plenty of space. There are three levels that you access with stairs and you will find two toilets, two showers, two sinks, and a bath on the third level. There are no doors except in the bathrooms and no windows. There is a mini fridge, AC, water warmer for tea, and a big television. It had everything we needed, was super clean and cozy.

Very hospitable and welcoming staff. They were really helpful in navigating and having the best experience at Sun Moon lake for a non-mandarin speaker (e.g., helpful figure out train schedules and book tours). They were also very accommodating with my late arrival- made me feel very comfortable and safe.

I booked the hotel on the same day of arrival. The owner waited me and sent me many WhatsApp messages before I arrived with instructions.

The hotel is very clean and quiet, close to the ship dock .

Do not forget to ask the owner for discount tickets for local tourist activities.

Room was beautiful, clean, modern, and big. Location was great steps from the bus station, 7-11's, Star bucks, local restaurants and 2 min walk to Sun Moon Lake Shuishe Wharf. In the evening I visited the Ita Tho night market on the other side of the lake, and was stranded on that side because bus and ferry stop running and Uber and taxi was unavailable during the later hours. Wendy the owner, saved us and arranged a taxi back to the the hotel on the Shuishe side, I am very grateful. I would definitely stay again.

Neat small guest house associated with Tea House business. A bit hard to spot on street and no parking at site (free in small walking distance--uphill). Good rooms. Note this is not a B&B, but "bed only", as accommodations only, no meal service. I would definitely return.

Fabulous gem

Super convenient location. Located right across the main bus stop. The room was lovely and equipped with a great bathroom as well as a big TV with endless channels. Everything looked brand new. Customer service was beyond expectations, the hostess was super helpful with literally everything. The attention to details is truly impressive. Would definitely stay here again!

Crawling distance from Shuishe Visitor Centre. Upon arrival Wendy greeted us with her warm welcome and tea. She was very hospitable. Wendy allowed us to store our luggage for a night when we were at Yushan. Look no further if you want a top place to stay near Shuishe Visitor Centre.

Key note: there’s free bike rental promoted by Taiwan tourism board till the end of the year.

Lovely property; extremely friendly/helpful staff

Booked a big room - 3-storeys. 2 double mattresses (not "bed", just mattress on the floor) on the ground floor, another 2 on the 2nd floor, and a couch/tv/bathroom/toilet on the 3rd floor. Interior was clean and well-maintained. Location was also within convenient walking distance (5-10 minutes) to the ferry terminal. Plenty of eateries near the property. Slightly pricey, but likely contributed by the fact that we stayed during the SunMoonLake marathon weekend. Overall very happy with our stay and definitely good value for a big group (equivalent multi-room bookings at commercial hotels at SunMoonLake would be much more expensive).

Fantastic hotel.

The host is a very pleasant and helpful lady. We were greeted with tea and tidbits. She spared no effort in providing you with the local knowledge and recommendations. She even walked us to the bus terminal to help us book the bus tickets for the lake excursion and the intercity bus to Taipei. The wifi is good, the room is clean and spacious. There is even space for a couch. There are complimentary toiletries and drinking water and there is a dehumidifier in the bathroom to dry the clothes. The free breakfast is redeemed at an eatery across the 7 eleven. The lobby is actually a quaint tea shop. Location is good as it is near the intercity bus depot and within walking distance to the harbour for the cruise. It is surrounded by lots of affordable good restaurants. Only drawback is there isn't any window, so ventilation might be a tad of a problem,

Free and easy couple trip

The owner is very friendly and helpful, take initiative to explain about the room and tourist attractions surrounding. The location is very good, around 5 mins to Shui She port, 7-11 and a lot of restaurants nearby. The room is very new and clean, good toiletries, bed is comfort and a lot of TV channels from internet TV to entertain you. The only disadvantage is the room has no window, but overall still recommended.

Great new hotel in Sun Moon Lake area!

The lady who runs this hotel was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located 3-5 mins from the pier to get a boat around the lake - you can get tickets from the hotel. It is also opposite a bike rental shop (where the hotel gives you a discount voucher) and 1 minute from the bus stop if you plan to move on to another part of Taiwan. The hotel is quite new / recently refurbished and offers breakfast at a nearby location with free tea when you enter.
The manager also gave great advice on things to do / places to eat, which turned out to be very good. Free filtered water in the corridor outside the room for drinking.
Overall I think this place is absolutely great value for money and if you are looking for a place to stay whilst sight seeing, then this is much better than any 5 star hotel where you will probably not stay much in the hotel!

It’s a small hotel with great value. The room furnishing is very nice and the staff are friendly and service amazing. The hallway is not carpeted, so you may hear footsteps but in general it’s a quiet place. The simple breakfast is off site and you can choose an Asian or a western breakfast.

The newest hotel in town

This is a nice and new hotel, in what seems like quite a dated resort town.

The receptionist is extra friendly, and on the whole, the fascilities are completely as described. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is satisfactory.

The only real problem with the room is that it could do with sound-proofing. I was on the second floor. At the moment, it is possible to hear everything going on in the corridor and most things at reception. This didn't turn out to be a big problem because the noise usually stopped at night.

The location of the hotel is really good. There are restaurants, convenience store and bike shops near the hotel. And, it is very close to the bus station.

The owner welcomed us with warm tea service at check in time, and made us feel relaxed.

War für eine Nacht im Sun Moon Tea Hotel untergekommen und der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Der Empfang war sehr herzlichst, das Zimmer war selber war sauber und gemütlich angerichtet. Zusätzlich erhielt ich noch Hinweise auf div. Freizeitangebote sowie eine Liste der empfehlenswerten Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Lage selber ist Top, man ist zu Fuß innerhalb von 5 min am Pier sowie am Busbahnhof.

Insgesamt war es ein erholsamer Aufenthalt und ich würde beim nächsten Besuch das Hotel wieder auswählen.

一二樓為住宿的地方
第三層為盥洗區域
盥洗區，有兩間廁所，還有一間有浴缸
採用的是茶籽堂的沐浴用品
因為家裡也是用這款，看到時覺得特別親切

房內簡單乾淨，還有迎賓點心盤
房間的電視還有Netflix可以看
因為這次有慶生活動
特地請蛋糕店製作蛋糕，先送去民宿
我們也佈置了房間，想給壽星驚喜
很感謝民宿老闆娘幫忙

方便的水社民宿

老闆娘很細心熱情，提供很多當地的交通飲食資訊，就算沒有作太多功課也可以玩得很盡興。房間很舒服，床好睡，我們的浴室有檜木桶可以泡澡，用的備品也是茶籽堂，民宿交通很方便，就在水社遊客中心對面，若不介意晚上睡覺時偶爾聽到車聲，很推薦。

老板態度是真的不錯，茶也好喝，但我是去住宿不是去泡茶喝茶的，住宿期間遇到小螞蟻開pa，我擦地板擦了3次,最噁爛的是早上有1隻小螞蟻在我嘴上，如果這民宿十分便宜也就罷了，但我花了7000元，還被老公嘴了2天，如果要花大把銀子住這民宿，奉勸三思，在日月潭熱鬧的水社碼頭旁週六晚上還能有空房，其住宿的cp值不言而喻啊

진짜 후기 잘 안남기는 편인데 사장님 여자분이신데 진짜 친절하세요. 영어도 잘하시고 르웨탄 지리랑 볼거리 추천도 해주시고. 숙소 위치도 버스 내리면 바로 앞에 있고 체크인 하는동안 차 판매점이라 그런지 차도 주심. 이제와서 생각하니 이거 살걸 그랬는데.. 진짜 향 좋았음. 방도 깨끗하고 혼자 쓰기에 좁지 않아요. 원래 대만 숙소가 다 그렇지만 방이 좀 울리는 느낌은 있었지만 숙소에 사람이 별로 없어서 괜찮았어요. 아이피티비같은걸로해서 한국 티비도 나와요.
