Room is old and dirty, i saw cockroach running around when i checked in. A lot of room facility was broken (shower handle, toilet door locks, etc). I had requested them to clean the room the next day, but very disappointed is that, they only change the towels and help to clean the rubbish, the rest all untouched. other than small cup water, no drinking water supply (only some mountain water which required to be cook before drink). have to buy from 7 eleven if you have finished the cup water.

Once we walked in, the room looked shabby, run down, wall paper was coming apart, corners of the room seemed dusty, and there were ants in the bed and bathroom walls. We told the guy and he came in with a towel to wipe them away! We asked to switch room and was told there wasn't any. We got what we paid for-it was one of the cheaper options. It was worth paying an extra few bucks for a lake-view room, and no more than 2 nights depending on what time you get in. One good thing was they chanced the bed sheets the next day and even one bed was missing a sheet cover and used a sheet instead. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but if you are tight on budget, it is liveable.

A bit speechless. Other than location is near to the jetty. This is really a budget stay. Can't consider it as a hotel at all. We can't find the place cause outside as it is a fruit stall which don't even look fresh at all. Don't have a proper check in counter. Space is small, things a bit dirty. Beside has a 7 eleven stall which is good. But really don't recommend and confirm won't be going back again.

A fair and simple hotel in convenient location

The hotel seems to be a family-run business in one of the two small towns in the Sun-Moon Lake. In this five-minute-walk-around town, there is the main pier for the must-see boat tour, the bus station for transport either from Tai-Chung to other tourist spots nearby, a convenient store, restaurants and other shops for tourist.

Other than the shelter and bed it provided us, it was a hassle to stay in this hotel.
Unlike the building shown in the app, we were brought to another location to stay - there's a shutter that's always closed after breakfast hours and we are required to open and close the dusty shutter whenever we head out or come back.
Nothing much in the area, and the counter messed up the booking when we checked in.

MAJOR SCAM

We have paid about USD90 for the 4 of us for a night stay. We were warned by the locals on our way however due to the \"no refund policy\", we had to fork out additional expenses on another hotel closed by. The reason being, he placed us a few blocks on the 1st floor of a restaurant with the rest of the room unoccupied/doors left unattended. Safety reason/spooky environment. After complaining, we were moved to another room above the fruit stand which makes no difference, all the rooms were empty & doors left ajar unattended. Overall, very uncomfortable stay. We decided to spend additionally to stay at a closer by hotel which cost us less than USD50 for all of us. My advice is get the locals advice & book at the doorstep.

The room is super old and do not look like the photos at all. Unclean and bathroom filled with molds. Room is too small, a lot of bed bugs that I woke up with itchy arms and legs everywhere. Breakfast is only one piece of bread and drink. The staff is constantly trying to sell boats, cable car etc village which is very annoying. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone at all. After all, it's not a 'resort' it's just a simple old hostel.

No window room

The room had no window which would have been ok if it had not poured down continuously for two days. But it had a pretty strong mold problem in the bathroom which should be addressed. Breakfast was simple sandwich hanging on our door in the morning, which was quite tasty.

Great location and staff, room is comfy and clean

Within 10-20 meters from the bus drop off point at Yuchi. We arrived around 1pm, dropped our luggage there and the staff suggested us to take boat to visit a few places and take cable car. So we quickly go to Yuchi pier to start our adventures. :)
Yuchi pier, 7eleven, tourist information kiosk, police station, bike rental shop, bus station and etc, are very near to the hotel. Building is equipped with elevator, and breakfast (sandwich and red tea) is provided. Bed is comfortable and clean, bathroom is equipped with hair dryer. Various food stalls and restaurants nearby. Love this place, great stay!

The moment we got down the bus we were told that we cannot miss it. It is the only shop in the entire SML selling fruits. The moment we saw it we were like OMG!!!!! No one would actually thought that there were rooms to stay on top of the shop as the front part of the shop was full of fruits. The reception area was very untidy. We were put into a room just next to the staircase and we could actually hear people walking passed our room as the sound proof was terrible. There was a small window next to the staircase and people could actually peep in if not for the blind in the room. Luckily enough we were too tired and so we were able to sleep at night. The hotel staff is another thing. He can never remember us no matter how many times we go in and out of the hotel or how many times we talked to him. If we talked to him when we were going back to our room he would stop us and asked if we had already book our room as their rooms were full and we were like we are already staying in your hotel. And if we were going out he would constantly wanting to sell us tickets for boat rides, cable car rides and the aboriginal village. We kept on telling him that we had already had the tickets. Probably it was his good intention so that he did not miss anyone or probably just his way to earn extra income apart from the hotel room. But it became very annoying when he kept on repeating. Obviously he cannot tell who were his guests. I don't think the hotel is that big till he cannot remember.

Short overnight at Sun Moon Lake

Overall experience was fine,room was clean. I had book 2 family rooms for 7 pax. We are just staying 1 night for resting before next day journey. The Hotel also selling Sun Moon Lake ferry ticket which only cost TWD100/pax, compare to outside ferry service who charge me TWD300/pax. Restaurant are just near by the hotel, there was many choices to go. The area was not big, is nice to have a walk after dinner to see around.

We arrived in hotel room 605 to find stained bedsheets and a bathroom floor that was not clean.
It has the typical Taiwanese bathroom with no enclosed shower. Shower floor is the same as the bathroom floor leading to water everywhere. This is apparent on the rotting wooden frame of the door caused by continuous water seepage.
The other hotels nearby were charging similar rates but looked a lot cleaner and modern. The room was about 7 square meters enough to fit a double bed.

Hotel is very near the travel information centre and ferry terminal. Bus transfer is also very nearby. Easy and fast check out. Other then the hot water sufficiency during the evening it is a nice hotel to stay and would recommend.

Do expect too much

You get what you pay for, you won't be too disappointed if you bear this in mind. Don't expect room service, reasonable breakfast or in fact too much semblance of a hotel. What it has got is the central position in a basically 2/3 street small centre in the Sun Moon Lake area. It is really not as bad as some of the reviews. Ask for the top floor conservatory with an outside bath tube - quirky, but watch out that they don't baffle you with extra charges in New Taiwan dollars.

Stay at Tanxiang

The stay was just alright. The room condition was old and unkempt. No housekeeping during our stay. Breakfast provided was a simple piece of ham and egg with a slice of toasted bread that will be delivered to your room at 8.30am. (It is a package that is hanged outside your door). The staff was friendly. Overall the stay was bearable. The pictures you see in the advertisement looks good but do not expect it to be the same. Nevertheless the stay was comfortable.

Deceptive Photos

The lead photo is deceptive as it is not of this hotel and, with the name including \"Resort\" it gives a very different impression. Also, the room photos appear to have been photoshopped so they look much better than they are. The \"foyer\" is a corridor behind a fruit store. This was also where breakfast was served in a very narrow area. Breakfast was very simple. Maintenance was quite inadequate-two door fittings fell off and the plastic bathroom door ran off its rails when used. The shower is in a very high bath and requires a reasonable climb to get in-and we are not short in height! Room was clean enough but, overall, definitely not recommended.

The ad photo was very somewhat misleading. The hotel is located in a very convenient location to the lake and transportations. Room was small and sparse. Owner family was very nice and helpful. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. Bypass the free breakfast and head the street for better options as I did after the first day.

Bought the night with free parking included, but I still had to pay for parking. The owner claims it is a problem with Hotels.com, and does not accept responsibility of this mistake, even though I paid an extra fee to get free parking.The picture that appears on the web page of Hotels.com is not the hotel, it is just a picture of the bay. The hotel is more a \"Bed & Breakfast\" than an actual hotel. The lobby is in one place with a fruit market on the outside, and to get to the rooms, you need to walk about 20 meters to another place that takes you through a restaurant to finally reach some stairs that take you to your room.The room is ok, do not expect anything great, the bad thing is that the windows and hall illumination do not help when you are trying to sleep. The is a lot of light that come in from the hall, but most importantly is that the noise from outside keeps you awake during the night.

Disappointing stay

For that price we paid this hotel was really disappointing experience. Everything looks much better on the pictures than in reality.

Bad:
1) The room was extremely small. Basically, there was a space for a bed and suitcases, and nothing else. It's maybe ok for staying over night, but definitely not good for a longer stay.
2) Even though the hotel advertises a free parking, they have no parking at all. There is a public city parking about 500m from the hotel.
3) There was no desk in the room.
4) The wallpaper on the wall was peeling off.
5) The bathroom door was moldy, which they tried to cover by a piece of fabric, but that one was also moldy.
6) No curtain on the bath tub, so it was difficult to take a shower without making the whole bathroom wet.
7) Very low water pressure in the shower.
8) Internet connection was slow, much slower than the 3G connection.

Good: 1) The room was equipped with an AC, a flat screen TV and there was a free wireless internet.

天井が低く全面タイル張りで窓もないため圧迫感があるが、しっかり掃除してあり清潔だった。浴室は、トイレの部屋に浴槽も無くシャワーだけが設置されている感じでとても狭いが、なんとかシャワーも浴びることができた。立地はバス停からすぐで便利。客室へは建物の裏から出入りした。一人での節約旅行ならおすすめ。

うん、よくある台湾のラブホテルを兼用しているホテル。
部屋の隅っことか掃除がされてないのは当たり前。露天風呂にある枯れた植木も落ち葉もそのままなのは正に台湾クオリティ。
でも、場所的には最高のコンディション。
バス停、コンビニすぐそば。
観光船乗り場も歩いて数分。
掃除が行き届いてないとはいえ、主要なところはしっかりしてある。
気にする人は近くに高級ホテルがあるので、そちらへどうぞ。
値段の割にはいいコンディションのホテル。

很糟糕的飯店，房間與網路圖片差太多，燈光老舊昏暗，桌上台燈布滿灰塵而且是壞掉的，床~其實就是兩個舊床墊疊在一起的，像水床一樣晃動。壁紙多處破裂，同行的小孩說會怕怕。早餐是一個三明治和一杯紅茶。一夜無法入睡，早早離開去外面小7再吃個早餐（因為那份早餐真的無法吃飽），必須說的是，樓下不遠就有小7，地理位置蠻便利的。

看過評論才訂的房,因為近水社公車站又便宜的就是這間,所以入住前已有心理準備.訂房時說包含早餐實際上要另外付費.想要多一張毛毯或被子要另付100元因他們要去送洗,所以我們都沒要.洗澡熱水供水不穩.除了這些,其餘都還可以,這裡算是山區又是著名景點區,要便宜就不要有太多要求了.

โรงแรมใกล้สถานีรถบัสดี แต่ตัวโรงแรมค่อนข้างเก่า มีอาหารเช้าเป็นแซนวิสกับ milk tea แขวนไว้หน้าห้องตอน 7:00 น เปลี่ยนเมนูอะไรไม่ได้เลย ต้องกินในห้องเท่านั้น ข้างล่างมีโต๊ะเก้าอี้แต่ไม่ให้นั่งเลย ในห้องมีมดเยอะมาก คนแพ้แมลงคงคิดหนัก
ผนังห้องนอนบางมาก ถ้าข้างห้องเสียงดังก็ลืมเรื่องความสงบได้เลย ผ้าเช็ดตัวเก่ามาก ที่บ้านผ้าขี้ริ้วยังดูดีกว่าผ้าเช็ดตัวที่นี่ ชื่อ รร ในเวปกับชื่อ รร จริงไม่ตรงกัน เดินหาย้อนไปย้อนมา จูงเด็กๆ เดินหาเพราะชื่อ รร ไม่ตรงนี่แหละ ใครจะไปพักถ้าไม่ซีเรียสเรื่องที่ว่ามาก็พอได้

日月潭の元水社ビジターセンター横の宿

日月潭の散策・サイクリング・船着き場へのアクセスも良いロケーション。
バスターミナルも近い。
宿にはフロントが無く、看板を頼りにお店に入って確認。
日本語はＮＧだが、丁寧に説明してくれる。
部屋は、通り沿いの食堂の２・３階。
キングスベッドとシャワールーム・トイレが有り、テレビ・エアコンと特に問題無いレベル。
冷蔵庫は無いが、コンビニが近くに有るので問題無。
食べるお店も、付近に有る。

爛死

超爛,跟照片完全不符
一開始還帶我們去隔壁的熱炒店樓上說是我們的房間,房間簡直爛得要死,根本也不是我們下定的那一個住宿地址,直到我們打電話跟他說才帶我們去真正的住所地,一句道歉都沒有,房間超爛,發霉污垢灰塵一堆

唯一優點是在水社

我住的是有天窗的房間，expeadia訂的價錢是每晚hkd900元，房間其實是很大，但很多東西也很舊，抱枕和梳化也有漬，窗簾看到一塊塊的塵，洗手間的浴屏和也是黑的。
客間的特色是有室外私人露天浴缸，室內有天窗。
重點:
但是浴缸太污穢骯髒，準備了浸浴的東西也不敢浸。
天窗的玻璃應該是太久沒清潔，黑到看不清天空。

靠近日月潭水社碼頭

飯店幾乎沒有任何的休閒設施，很靠近日月潭水社碼頭，附近商店很多，住房價格便宜、有附日月潭遊艇船票，不是很注重飯店設施的人，可以考慮哦。
