I stayed here for a short layover. Overall, the stay was decent.

Positives:
The room was quite spacious and the basic amenities were fine. The property is a bit dated, but reasonably well maintained. Cleanliness was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Things to be aware of:
The biggest issue is the location. It is often advertised as being 3–5 km from Changi Airport, but it’s actually around 15–16 km away. Travel time can be 40–45 minutes during the day, so don’t rely on it being “close” to the airport.

The hotel is also not centrally located. There are a few local food options nearby, but not much if you’re looking to explore Singapore or enjoy a wider variety of restaurants. This is more about the area than the hotel itself.

Getting a Grab during off hours can also take some time, so plan accordingly.

I didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

Overall: Good for a quiet stay, but not ideal if you want quick airport access or a central location.

Very good breakfast. Rooftop slimming pool excellent, with good views. It’s a trek to get not downtown Singapore, but the hotel can’t be guilty of that. The free shuttle bus to/from the airport works very well.

Area lively. Close to airport. They have free shuttle in days but starts 080. We took grab(uber). There’s breakfast but we left too early. Room quiet, large, very clean. Beds firm but comfortable and two firm but not hard pillows each. Slept well. Staff friendly, helpful. Price good for Singapore. Great value !

Hotel is out of the way which we found nice after central Singapore $30 by grab each way to Zoo… only 30 mins bus and train would have been possible but close to 1.5 Hrs. Great choice of eateries nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again Airport drop off was quick and efficient.

The breakfast menu was fresh and plentiful. The pool looked enjoyable. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful, especially Seri who gave extra effort regarding transportation to the airport before the 0800 first shuttle. For those of us whose scheduled flight was early, the 0800 shuttle would not get us to the airport in time.

While the hotel is located near the airport, the shuttle service is quite inconvenient. It only runs every two hours, which results in significant waiting time. Additionally, at Terminal 2, there is a lack of clear signage or directions for locating the shuttle pickup point, making the process confusing for guests. Due to these issues, we ended up taking a taxi instead, as the shuttle was not practical.

The hotel is also situated far from major attractions, meaning you’ll need to rely on taxis or trains to get around, adding both time and extra cost to your trip. During peak hours, taxis can be difficult to find, and we even had to take a separate shuttle just to reach a train station.

Overall, this hotel may not be the best choice if you have limited time and plan to explore Singapore, as the transportation challenges can significantly impact your experience.

Fabulous resort near the beach, golf, shopping, Ferry to island for biking and with excellent workout room and 2 pools. Great ambiance, wonderful breakfast and free shuttle to Pasar Ris malll (30 min away). There is a shuttle bus from the airport but it only comes every hour. I came from terminal 2 and the map and info were a bit off — the coach ba y pick up area is just next to car park 2A and not across the walkway. I will try to post a photo of the layout. The Jewell indoor waterfall at the airport is worth seeing. Great hotel for families as there is something for everyone.

I booked a room at this hotel for a long layover between flights.We caught the free shuttle service to our hotel. Instructions were provided well in advance. The hotel was clean, but the property is a little worn. Staff were accomodating and polite. It has all the basics for a comfortable stay. Most importantly, it is located at a convenient location as it took us only 17 minutes to get to the airport, no traffic that night.

Hotel was nice to allow early check in at 2pm when the room was ready. Clean room with strong air con. It is located near to Changi Village Hawker Centre where there are many food choices and also restaurants at Changi Beach. However, the towels provided were shedding lint on the last day of our trip.

Good location and price but I can never stay there with my family because the shower doesn't have a normal shower head. It has a shower head with a hose but the only bracket is at the bottom. Its impossible to hang the shower head above you to use both hands while you wash. A $5 bracket would fix this. All else about the hotel was good but this problem is odd and easily fixable.

The hotel was OK. Facilties a bit shabby - wallpaper coming off and patch repair work - for example, in the elevator. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was the most disappointing. Most were not very helpful. Example, I needed the 8 oclock shuttle to the airport. Went to front desk. \"Oh, the 8 oclock is already booked.\" The next one was like 9:45 and would not get me there on time. I asked what I should do hoping they were familiar with this problem - it must happen regularly for a big hotel and a small van type shuttle. \"You'll have to call a cab\" and with that she turned away. No offer to call one for me or even a twinge of \"sorry for the incovenience. You booked our hotel because we promised a shuttle to the airport and now we aren't providing one. Tough luck, eh?\" Also, the breakfast is nice but pricey. There is no coffee or tea on the lobby so when leaving the breakfast I thought I'd take a cup of coffee with me. I asked the waitress if I could get a paper to-go cup for coffee. \"This is buffet. Can't take anything to go.\" I explained it was just for a cup of coffee. Again, \"This is buffet. can't take to go.\" Amazing! Most hotels have coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. But \"this is buffet- you only paid $20 for it. We can't let you have a paper cup and a whole coffee to go.\" It was just attitudes like that that made it a sour experience. Once upon a time this would have been a great hotel but it’s now tired. Needs some TLC. Our room 502 was very musty and given we paid to upgrade was disappointing. Shower was one of the best ever ! Hotel is in a great location for a short stopover. 5 min walk to a great hawker market. Very close to Changi airport and a great price point for a short stopover.

The infinity pool was amazing, very beautiful with a marvellous view. The staff were very helpful especially Amos and Asraf, though all the staff we had dealings with were great but I didn’t notice all their names. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Personally, I didn’t like the shower being over the bath but otherwise the room was fine. The shuttle to the airport was a big advantage and we also made use of the free shuttle to the Plasir Mall. The hotel was however a long way from the centre.

This hotel is advertised as an airport hotel although it's not actually that close to the airport -- probably about a $20 and 20 minute taxi ride away. They do offer an airport shuttle but not early enough in the morning for our 9:00 a flight so we had to take a taxi.

The hotel is pleasant but very remote and not served well by public transit. I picked it because it had an airport shuttle. But it turns out it only runs every two hours. And it starts at 8 am. So to make my flight I had to book a taxi. Also breakfast was not open very early. My room was mostly clean except for some hair. The bathtub and sink need renovation. There was only non-dairy creamer. No milk. But the front desk provided some.

Room was big with a desk and a queen bed and large tv, had a tub with hot water to relax from a long travel, the bed was soft as well as the pillows and linen. Free water was available in the gym that was nice also and the aircon was on when i entered the room so that was a plus for me. The rooftop had a nice pool and a bar with two nice gentlemen waiting to serve you. I had a nice welcoming at the front desk also the cleaning personal were helpful and friendly you get free shuttle bus service from the airport the driver was very nice and on time with the schedule for pickup. I think if they had a little snack or gift shop would of been great.overall i had a nice experience at vhc in changi and the hotel is less then 30 minutes from the airport.

Needed a room for a one night stopover in Singapore and the Village Hotel Changi was a great option. It was 20 minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle service from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was gracious and helpful. It was a 20 minute taxi ride to Gardens on the Bay in the city. Added bonus was the rooftop swimming pool with views of the bay. And the price was quite reasonable,

I reserved 1 room with two twin beds but upon check in the staff said there is no room with 2 twin beds and upgrade would cost SGD $70. I showed him my reservation which clearly says two twin beds. All of the sudden, there is a room with two twin beds available!!!!

The room was okay, but tired. The staff could have been better. Rather slow during check-in even though I checked in online. The whole hotel needs a refresh. Unfortunately, you do not have a decent restaurant where the prices are not way too expensive. The bar area should have a standard limited menu that is available during the day. If it did, then perhaps you would have more than one person in there during prime time.

i messaged beforehand about our anniversary and wife's birthday, requesting a romantic decoration and didn't happen. we went for 3 weeks holidays around Asia and stayed in various hotels, this was the only one did not decorate for us.
also no sound insulation between walls, next room people woke us up 4am by clicking lights switches and using toilet, sounded as loud like it was inside our own room. very noisy.

According to the booking time, we were told that check in was at 2pm. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the room was not ready and we were asked to wait until 2.45pm before the rooms could be ready. We were not offered any form of compensation for this inconvenience.

The service used to be top notch when I previously stayed at the hotel but things must’ve changed. It does not have the same charm/attraction as it did before.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The downside was the room. Poorly laid out. Shower/bathtub combo was very high to climb in and out, dangerous for older not so mobile people.
The side tables were inaccessible while you were in bed as there was wall between the bed and table. You actually had to get out of bed, reach around wall for anything you had placed on side table.
Otherwise a pleasant place. Bonus: free airport transfer!!!

Offers free shuttle to and from the airport. The use of the free Civil Service Shuttle from across the road, that takes you to the MRT at Prasir Ris is a great bonus.

The kettle didn’t work and we weren’t allowed to bring food to our room. We arrived early after 36 hour flight and requested an early check in as we were exhausted. We’re told that it would be a $20/hour early check in fee or we could upgrade to a different room for $105.00. A bit disappointed but we were exhausted so we had no choice.
