Clean room, very spacious. The water pressure was amazing!! The staff was very attentive and friendly and helped us with taxis to get around. They offer a shuttle to and from the hotel which was great and one of the reasons I chose this hotel.

Location is a little isolated making travel to city, etc inconvenient. Thought it was close to Changi airport but I was mistaken and with traffic congestion it took longer than expected.

Our only issue was the airport shuttle. We booked this hotel because it offered this. The hours were very limited and it was much quicker and easier (but more expensive) to use a Grab.

one night between flights. The hotel is a short 30min taxi ride from airport.
Staff were excellent and friendly, room was well equipped and very comfortsble.
Checkin was a bit slow... not enough people in reception... Some of yjf lifts Airport shuttle is very good indeed.
Theres a good Dim Sing place next door.

This hotel is advertised as an airport hotel although it's not actually that close to the airport -- probably about a $20 and 20 minute taxi ride away. They do offer an airport shuttle but not early enough in the morning for our 9:00 a flight so we had to take a taxi.

The hotel was lovely & a reasonable price for what we got! It was great having 2 pools! I would highly recommend. The best part was Seri at the front desk. She went above and beyond by getting our room ready early, giving us advice about the surrounding area and always with a smile! Thank you for a great experience!

The hotel is pleasant but very remote and not served well by public transit. I picked it because it had an airport shuttle. But it turns out it only runs every two hours. And it starts at 8 am. So to make my flight I had to book a taxi. Also breakfast was not open very early. My room was mostly clean except for some hair. The bathtub and sink need renovation. There was only non-dairy creamer. No milk. But the front desk provided some.

Room was big with a desk and a queen bed and large tv, had a tub with hot water to relax from a long travel, the bed was soft as well as the pillows and linen. Free water was available in the gym that was nice also and the aircon was on when i entered the room so that was a plus for me. The rooftop had a nice pool and a bar with two nice gentlemen waiting to serve you. I had a nice welcoming at the front desk also the cleaning personal were helpful and friendly you get free shuttle bus service from the airport the driver was very nice and on time with the schedule for pickup. I think if they had a little snack or gift shop would of been great.overall i had a nice experience at vhc in changi and the hotel is less then 30 minutes from the airport.

Needed a room for a one night stopover in Singapore and the Village Hotel Changi was a great option. It was 20 minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle service from the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was gracious and helpful. It was a 20 minute taxi ride to Gardens on the Bay in the city. Added bonus was the rooftop swimming pool with views of the bay. And the price was quite reasonable,

This facility is tired and has seen better days. The description was misleading. Even with airport shuttle this was not very close or convenient. Shuttle ride was 40 minutes with limited hours. Early shuttle doesn’t depart until 8:00 AM. Staff were professional.

I reserved 1 room with two twin beds but upon check in the staff said there is no room with 2 twin beds and upgrade would cost SGD $70. I showed him my reservation which clearly says two twin beds. All of the sudden, there is a room with two twin beds available!!!!

The room was okay, but tired. The staff could have been better. Rather slow during check-in even though I checked in online. The whole hotel needs a refresh. Unfortunately, you do not have a decent restaurant where the prices are not way too expensive. The bar area should have a standard limited menu that is available during the day. If it did, then perhaps you would have more than one person in there during prime time.

i messaged beforehand about our anniversary and wife's birthday, requesting a romantic decoration and didn't happen. we went for 3 weeks holidays around Asia and stayed in various hotels, this was the only one did not decorate for us.
also no sound insulation between walls, next room people woke us up 4am by clicking lights switches and using toilet, sounded as loud like it was inside our own room. very noisy.

According to the booking time, we were told that check in was at 2pm. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the room was not ready and we were asked to wait until 2.45pm before the rooms could be ready. We were not offered any form of compensation for this inconvenience.

The service used to be top notch when I previously stayed at the hotel but things must’ve changed. It does not have the same charm/attraction as it did before.

Hotel was very dated. Initially we thought the location would be good as it looked close to the airport, however it was very very difficult/impossible to get a grab. We had to arrange to have a taxi come which was more expensive. I would not recommend although the price was reasonable.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The downside was the room. Poorly laid out. Shower/bathtub combo was very high to climb in and out, dangerous for older not so mobile people.
The side tables were inaccessible while you were in bed as there was wall between the bed and table. You actually had to get out of bed, reach around wall for anything you had placed on side table.
Otherwise a pleasant place. Bonus: free airport transfer!!!

A friendly hotel. Spacious room, with a very comfortable bed and large TV, that had plenty of channels.

Offers free shuttle to and from the airport. The use of the free Civil Service Shuttle from across the road, that takes you to the MRT at Prasir Ris is a great bonus.

Has a gym and two lovely swimming pools, one on the rooftop and one in the gardens on the ground floor.

The kettle didn’t work and we weren’t allowed to bring food to our room. We arrived early after 36 hour flight and requested an early check in as we were exhausted. We’re told that it would be a $20/hour early check in fee or we could upgrade to a different room for $105.00. A bit disappointed but we were exhausted so we had no choice.

Clean room and very friendly staff. Good eating places for Hawker Food. Transportation is good but quite far from downtown core. Extensive Singapore train transit system makes it convenient to traverse distances with the Singapore travel card. I had mine for 5 days and made extensive use of it. Enjoyed infinity pool swim at the hotel and the peaceful walk along the beach area. Great place from crowded hustle & bustle.

Lovely, very chilled hotel, great for Changi Airport and well away from lively Singapore. Sweet little village, very authentic and good food stalls. Hotel has super pools, nice, clean rooms and wonderful breakfast buffet. Stuff extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great last night and day after a long journey.

Not a bad hotel. About 25 minutes by taxi from the airport. They have a free shuttle bus but the first one isn't until 8.45am. Room was nice with a little view of the sea with a free upgrade. Had dinner in the bar as the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol. Average meal and quite expensive so would probably go out to the many local restaurants in future.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The check in was really quick service. Our room was clean and spacious however I did not realise that the rooms are twin unless you ask for it to be made into one bed.
The food in the bar downstairs was good. The rooftop restaurant was excellent.
Check out was also really quick.
One negative is that due to a conference/meeting being held in the hotel the bar/restaurant was not open and this was not related to us. If we had know we could have left earlier for the airport and eaten there.
The concierge did direct us across the road.

We had issues with room keys and needed to get them reactivated several times. Paintings in rooms needs to be cleaned snd uodated. But otherwise, a good stay at a great location.

Last stayed here 2.5 years ago, en route to Australia, and it did not disappoint. So pleased with our choice again this time. This place works on so many levels as a short stop. Our room was spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with so many options. The infinity pool was amazing and the staff were very helpful, especially a young lady named Seri on reception.
Couple this with the free shuttle service and a great rate and these guys have a winning combination.

The room was in good condition generally …….

One or two observations :

In the shower one has to climb into the bath and sit on ones knees as there was no support for the shower head - probably OK for anyone under 60 years old - I had difficulty at 70+ …..

Actually, I didn’t bother with a shower this morning before checking out as it was too awkward ……

The sink had no warm water despite running the tap for absolute ages … such a waste of water - I only needed a shave ….

The sink was also cracked and leaking water ….

No shaving sachet nor slippers - the floor is wood liminate over concrete I guess and as such is very cold, I wore my shoes all the time …..

Once showered the floor was very wet meaning I used up all my towels ….

Finally, a warning notice on the toilet hold dispenser not use the toilet paper other than for the obvious reason …. 🤔

All in all quite a strange experience ……

The property has seen better days, the hallways smelled of cigarettes, the elevators didn't always work, paint was peeling. But the shower was good and the little Changi Village hawker center was charming. And you're 5min walk from the beach. Could be worse!
