Great location. However, if you plan to rest and sleep-in, this isn’t the place for you. I was ‘upgraded’ to a larger room before check-in. Unbeknownst to me, the room I was assigned basically had no noise insulation at all. It was as if my bed was on the street, I could hear conversations, cars, city vehicles as if they were next to me. It was horrible. I didn’t get any sleep until night three when I complained and they gave me a room on the other side of the hotel. If you’re facing the street on the right side of the hotel, run fast. I believe mine was 204. Julia, I believe, AM front desk person was great. On the contrary, evening, overnight front desk guy is rude and shouldn’t be in customer service. The guy with the inked or dotted hairline. He needs a career change asap.

Numerous excellent dining and shopping options within 2-5 minutes-the location can't be beat. This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Florence. Everything is within a 5-10 min walk. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious, clean, and they had nice touches like cold water in our mini fridge every day when we returned from being out. Would love to stay here again in the future.

The hotel has a privileged location, right in the heart of the city. The rooms are a great size, especially for a hotel in a European city center. The rooftop is excellent — the food and drinks manager, Mr. Nicola, is very professional and eager to address and apologize for any potential inconvenience, which was a really pleasant surprise. On top of that, the 701 rooftop offers beautiful views and a great atmosphere, with live music on Thursdays and Saturdays during my stay. I must also thank Mrs. Beretta, who attended to us so kindly at 701 — a great professional as well. Breakfast was good too. Overall, a great choice — I definitely recommend it!

Overall very nice. Probably the only criticism was that the roof top bar, which was lovely, was ridiculously expensive. Every Italian bar/restaurant has some sort of house wine if you are not intending to go for broke but one round of ordinary drinks was 41 Euros so we didn’t go back. Around the corner we could get just as good wine for half the price. Not a terrible criticism just an annoyance.

Excellent staff, great location. We made the mistake of driving in in a rental car on a Saturday afternoon during a holiday weekend, streets are very narrow and were packed with people. Be warned! Staff at the hotel were very helpful in dealing with the car and the parking fees were very fair and reasonable. Many thanks

The room was on the cold side with no temp control and the towel warmer was out of commission. I was on 6th floor (below roof top kitchen) and it was slightly noisy. Staff, concierge services and breakfast buffet were excellent as was the location. I will likely stay here again.

They offered dining options, arranging taxi service, recommended sights to see and outings - they even offered to make a hair salon appointment for me. The room was perfection- spacious, clean -it felt 'spa like'. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a very attentive wait staff. We had drinks at the roof top bar with exceptional views. You couldn't ask for a better location. I'm returning to Florence next spring- this is exactly where I'll be staying !

A truly wonderful boutique hotel in the historic city centre. Located in easy walking distance to all of the main sites, including Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Galley, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to name a few.

The room was so big and spacious and had a desk and chair and really good wifi so I could work remotely from the room. The bathroom was really large again, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The rooftop bar was great as well.

The Concierge at check-in was brilliant, trying to get us all sorted whilst also managing some very demanding American guests! He also gave some great suggestions as to different places for us to try over the bridge which were slightly off the beaten track (as we have been to Florence before).

( our de luxe room opened onto up into an alleyway). A medieval experience of staring at the wall across the alley. But I rate this hotel highly. The ambience is terrific.

The shower was very bad. A very small glass door that all the water would fall outside, and inside the bath the water was not flowing.
The breakfast was until 11am, but when it was 10:25 there were several items noy being replaced. The workers were clearly desperate to finish their shift.
