I was upgraded to a great 2 bedroom apartment. 2 bathroom it was well equipped with everything you could need. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spa as well. Staff were excellent and rooms very clean.

Washing machine needed a deep clean around the rubber and dryer filter wasn’t cleaned out from previous use. Shower a bit awkward with no door as water gets on floor but overall we would definitely recommend and would book again

Fabulous location! Right near Como Jetty & Beach, The Karalee on Preston (for the best steak sandwich & crumbed lamb cutlet in WA) & Wild Lime Cafe (for cheap but exceptional early-morning coffee).

Disappointed with maintenance noise outside both the front and back of our apartment. There was major noisy work being done on the pool and noisy electrical work on the front wall outside our apartment. We were only notified of the major pool upgrades AFTER we made the booking and were not informed of the noisy drilling that was occuring on the front wall of our 3 bed apartment. Staff were not very helpful or friendly upon arrival and departure...

The facilities were mostly adequate (small kitchen with basic equipment), location is good and safe within walking distance of Preston Square. Unfortunately there was also no hot water in the apartments which was not fixable until after we checked out the next day. Room telephone to reception doesn’t work either.

Affordable & convenient but beware of smokers
Great affordable place for a long stay and the pool is great! However the rooms are starting to look dated and maintenance has cut corners everywhere (i.e. sink drainage, hot tap is the cold tap, squeaky doors, smelly couch, bathroom fan inadequate, fly wire with big holes and gaps in the window frames, electronic door lock broke 3 times)…. New bathrooms make up for some of this as does the quality room service on days 4 and 7 and we really appreciated the new frypan we received upon request.
Major issue with the hotel is they still embrace smoking, providing every room with an ashtray to use on the balcony. Unfortunately this meant we couldn’t leave our windows open and fresh air was a serious issue as many neighbours seemed to chain smoke. Hotel needs to get into the 21st century here and only allow smoking in designated areas.
Other disappointments included the spa being out of action for nearly 2 weeks, being denied a late checkout after a four week stay (10am is early), pool cold, 4x gas hot water systems in poorly ventilated areas near the front doors……but we actually really enjoyed our stay and the convenience of a decent fridge, oven, washer and dryer, and semi secure parking warrants a solid 8/10.

This was a fantastic location for our one week stay in Perth. The apartment was well-equipped, with a great shower, and we had enough in the kitchen to cook what we wanted. There was a bus stop nearby which meant we could get to the city or anywhere else we wanted to go quite easily. And just around the corner is WA’s number one IGA which had a great range of goods, including ready to eat meals. It was a great base for a stay in a beautiful city.

I always love staying at the Broadwater. I have stayed with my children many many times. Having everything you need in an apartment is ideal, and the pool area is awesome. My kids use it rain hail or shine. The showers are also amazing! Would definitely recommend.

Location is ideal and central to all other suburbs (easy access via various routes) and easy to get to. The room wasn’t cleaned that great, found items under the beds and i believe the duration of the stay determines use of housekeeping - ie. stays over 4 days will find no housekeeping, no replacement of linen, towels, toilet paper or bin liners unless you ask at reception. Otherwise it is a very decent accommodation :)

Start with the positives - the bedroom roomy and the bed oversized king and very comfortable. Windows closed the room was very quiet. The parking very secure needed card to get in and out. The pool was heated large and hot tub very nice. There is an IGA 5 minutes walk up the street and allow you to bring the trolley back to the hotel. Numerous cafes and restaurants all excellent quality we ate at them all - Chinese, italian, and subway. We had view of the river. The hostess - a Swedish lady was very welcoming and accommodating as were most of the service people and front desk.
The negatives - the resort has a habit of booking sports teams of all ages - we got stuck with 10-12 year olds three vans for a week which closes off the pool essentially for everyone else. Each week it was a different group - most loud and some unbearably rude. There is a steady stream of traffic and trains along a major highway just in front of the resort. What irked me most of all - we had stayed there 6 weeks. The day we left our flight was late afternoon and we requested from Luke a 1/2 hour extension to leave - so 10:30 instead of 10. They had a full house coming in that day, no doubt teams that virtually took over the resort. You would think that a quiet elderly couple who had stayed for 6 weeks would take priority over a group coming iin for 2 days. I pleaded - but no exception - I said it was going in my review - he responded - go ahead. The only hotel to ever refuse. Shame on you.

On our first stay a week before for about 4-5 days. The stay was wonderful. Better then we expected. The check out was amazing when I met a young lady who was so cheerful and gave out such positivity, that I felt the rest of the day driving down to Margaret River.
On our second stay, the fault came when we were checking out and a young guy with a samurai pony tail wannabe hipster gave me a look that said, “you don’t belong here”. I don’t know you and that look you gave me was reprehensible. You may not have meant it or you may not be that person but boy it sure came across at such when I returned my keys. It’s such a waste that all that effort and good impressions was blown by a guy who was the last contact of our almost wonderful stay.
