ASK ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK NEXT DOOR
it would have been nice to be advised that construction was next door as the jack hammers were from 8am to 4pm - all day every day (5 day stay)

The service at the front counter on departure is an issue
I asked a question re lost and found - the assistant had no idea and would ask anyone and simply said no. Did not care

The reception smelt. The elevator smelt worse!!! The hallway carpet was covered in stains and smelt of something even worse! The room was okay but very old and desperately in need of a renovation. This feels like a half way house.

The property looks tired and in need of some TLC. The room was clean with the exception of the oven. The kitchens aren’t very well stocked. One tiny frypan for a 2 bedroom apartment, no scissors etc. The tv didn’t work for 4 nights of my stay. At any given time one or two of the three lifts were out of order. The biggest concern is the location. It’s not walking distance to a big supermarket and doesn’t feel very safe to walk back alone at night.

The room was dated and the bedding a mixture of sheets and duvets that didn't quite fit. The drop off parking outside the hotel was occupied mostly by the same two cars which caused irritation on checkout for us and other guests as we had to park either down the road or block traffic to load our bags into the car. There are definitely better options around.

I had been given the impressiin that parking was free when i booked but NO, you pay 30 dollars per day to park. I was charged for 2 days. Was told online i have a balcony view which did not happen. I think there needs to be a better way of communicating what is obtainable online and onsite.

Usually very good stay here - At least twice a year. Rooms still relatively clean and in good condition but elevators were out of action for over an hour (so it was 930 at night) No access to rooms. Last time i stayed elevators had a problem too.

Hotel is reasonable for the price. The area surrounding the hotel feels like the rough end of town near the courts. However, it’s a close walk to the swan river and Elizabeth quay which is really nice.

Central to great shopping, parking entry access is a little narrow. No safe smoking area was a big let down, leaving the hotel for a smoke made it an uncomfortabe stay.

We requested the hotel to provide room cleaning and arrange 2 x single bed in one room one day. When I returned to my apartment in the evening, the door at balcony was found full-open, and bug and flies were in the apartment.
In addition, the bath room did not provide hot water continuously. My family found getting hot water for 1 few second and then cold water in the shower.
The light in the bedrooms is too dark. The toilet door lock is mis-aligned with the frame and very diffiicult to close completely.

In overall, the apartment is required to refurbish the facilities.

Just because it says parking onsite doesnt mean you will get a park. Only reason we stayed, but still had to pay for Wilson parking. Shower had no door so completely washed the bathroom floor as water shot straight out. Then needed more towels. We noticed Vomit in the lift was left for an unacceptable length of time before cleaned up. Small bathroom, toilet squished in corner, not comfortable.

Overall the hotel was very nice, when we initially booked in and went to our room, the room was unmade and dirty. We went straight back downstairs and were promptly given another room, we stayed for one night. It was nice and close to the CBD and to the airport. The staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately the pool was closed for the week and we were only notified late. Our granddaughter was looking forward to the pool. The cleaning behind and at the side of the fridge hadn’t been cleaned for a while and under the cushions on the couch was dirty. When management were advised it was rectified immediately. Other than that the staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful.

The hotel is perfectly serviceable, don’t expect any frills or renovated rooms. Expect a few broken bits and pieces in your room. Ultimately - fine for a night or two if you’re planning on spending little time in the room.

When checking in another staff member checking another guest in made a mistake and had to delay me at least 10-15 minutes as she needed the computer I was being checked in with. That showed a lack of professionalism and was quite rude. As the employee that was serving me was very professional and polite, her training was definetly on show. That was the only down point but it could also stem to more situations like this and get the wrong customer who will be rude and entitled in the situation. Other than that I’d happily stay again and recommend it

Although this property is a little distant from the City centre it is walkable and accessible by public transport. The room was a good size wirh quite a large bathroom. The room was quiet and the reception staff were very helpful and cheery.

Property needs a good make over! Room needs new paint and furniture is from last century. Bathroom was filthy with built up grim and mould and overall room was not clean. There is no overhead lighting in bedroom and no PowerPoint beside each side of the bed, very inconvenient. No blanket in the room. Too noisy to leave door open for air, balcony was not worth having. Noisy dirty small and overlooked nothing. Pool and gym area are very outdated and not enjoyable at all. By the time you pay for parking on top of room cost you are better to find another hotel. Car parking…. Don’t have a normal size car. We had a very small mg and it was awful to park. Passenger had to get out so you could park right on one side for driver to even get out. They did leave a nice message and bottle of wine in room but it doesn’t really make up for the quality of the room or facilities.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! My friends and I booked 2x two bedroom apartments for one night to celebrate my birthday. The hotel bent over backwards to make us welcome. We were allowed to check in a little earlier, they provided apartments next to one another, they upgraded us to two bathroom apartments, they left a personalised card and bottle of wine for my birthday, and they let us check out a little later too! Exemplary service and communication. The apartments were very clean and well appointed and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much once again!

One week business trip

Great location for work. Free buses very close and rental cars very very close. Large space that really allows you to relax after a day’s work. Kitchen equipped enough for my stay. Cleaners came every few days which was good and a big clean halfway through my stay. Inbuilt dirt but ok. Older bathroom but ok. Wifi is an issue but I was given a modem to use which helped. And sorry to say there were insects throughout my whole stay even though I did tell the front desk. Will definitely stay here again and it will be my local Perth hotel.

Pros - The one bedroom apartment was nice and spacious and good value for money.
Male Night shift staff when I checked in at 11 pm had a language barrier but it was ok. What appeared to be the female late shift lady also with a language barrier who appeared in charge was a bit unfriendly as she sat at the public lounge area on her phone while her male counterpart did all the work and he was helpful on 2 sept. There was also a police attendance at the hotel when I was checking in but it was all ok
* in the bathroom its my opinion that the shampoo and conditioner was diluted with water as it didnt feel that consistant in feel.
This area of Hay street East Perth wasnt the best at night and a bit unsafe . Had a $9 uber to Northbridge to get something to eat .

Room did not have hair dryer, only one bed side lamp and lighting in the bedroom so was very dark. Washing machine was dirty. Hot water takes forever to turn on and poor pressure. Check in was disappointing as paid for a high room and they put me into a room on the ground floor, I complained and the team said we are fully booked. I was not happy so they moved me to level 5.

The good points are (1) spacious apartments for reasonable price not too far from airport or centre and (2) very helpful and friendly staff.
The main disadvantage was lack of reasonable dining or any bar. Restaurant in hotel had limited hours, did not do breakfast and there is no bar or alcohol sale in restaurant. The restaurant is really a slightly scruffy, basic place but, having said that, it serves some good Chinese food with friendly staff.

Bathrooom needs a good renovation. Water pressure was an issue through whole apartment.
Parking spaces are horrible even with a small car.
Some of the reception staff seemed miserable and unfortunately English was definitely a second language and communication was difficult.

Mantra was beautiful.Clean,tidy,easy access to the city,a big apartment with everything we needed.
Only suggestion would be that they need an exhaust fan in the laundry area as the dryer gives off heaps of condensation & heat in the whole apartment.

Our stay was okay, we were put in an access apartment (not requested) so when you showered the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Quite dangerous in the bathroom with so much water, we requested a mop and someone came and mopped for us but didn’t leave the mop. So the problem was on going. The bathroom was clean on the surface but the grout had not been cleaned for a number of years.

Be careful!! We stayed from the 9th till the 11th of April. We chose this place for its price and location. When we checked in they asked for a $200 bond in case we damaged the property, and were told that it would be returned 10 days after our stay. I gladly paid and during our stay made sure that everything was kept the same way we found it. So there was no reason to not receive our bond back.

It has been a month since we stayed there, I've called several times, and they always say they will check. To this day I have not received my bond back. I ended up paying way more for our stay there than I would have at a better place.

The place and location are good, but I ended up paying way more than I expected and it looks like I will never get my bond money back.
