For the price the property is okay. Disappointing that the room was not as advertised. The bed in the executive suite said king but it was queen. Said there was a sofa, It didn’t have one. Photos are misleading. It’s in a good position and as I said reasonably good value. Letting themselves down by raising expectations only to disappoint.

I was very disappointed by the quality of our room and housekeeping service. When we arrived, we noticed that our room was full of cobwebs. There was also bug spray on our bedside table that no one had bothered to put away. In addition, we found a dirty sock left in the bathroom, not to mention a damp smell emanating from it our entire stay. It was not worth the $300 we paid for 2 nights, with the ‘hotel’ more akin to a hostel. Never again.

Drains in the shared bathroom were completely blocked. Flooring in some places had completely given out or was on the verge of giving out. Fan didnt work in the room. Bathroom lock was dodgy.

Upon arrival, was greeted to a nice smelly sulo bin in the shared lounge are which happened to be right next to our room.

The walls were peeling in our bathroom. A dirty towel in our room when we arrived. Faeces on wall by toilet paper in bathroom.
A very muddled arrangement with the kitchen. We were told on our info for check in that we could lock the door into the kitchen. Cleaners would use it in the morning. However other residents knocked on the door to get in to kitchen when we were in bed. Not enough small milk carts s in fridge for all residents. Housekeeping did not empty bins in kitchen on Tuesday as still full when returned from day out. We left at 10am and they had not arrived for work. Room 6 bed very small. Bathroom not adjoining room. No washing up cloths or tea towels in kitchen even though there are pans, plates etc to use.

The deluxe room was advertised with private bathroom. In reality, its actually a detached bathroom and other guests can use it. Which happened when I was there on my first night. The room is adjacent to a tiny kitchen and you can hear the noise when its being used. Advertised free parking but ots actually street parking and you have to wake up at 8am and move your car or it you pay the fine. At the front of the accommodation window, theres a PARKING AT REAR posted. But theres no parking at the back of the hotel which I confirmed when I called the hotel number. Beware of this accommodation. Wotif you better do something about this.

The hotel is falsely advertised. The ad says free parking and private bathroom in the room. The parking is not on-site, it is street parking only (paid and only sometimes free). The room we booked was supposed to have a private bathroom but the bathroom was seperate to the room and on b the other side of the kitchen which is a common area. I tried to raise my issues with the staff by v telephone (there is no reception on-site so you can b only contact by phone and email. The staff did not care or even acknowledge my problem. They simply explained the bathroom and parking situating again as if there was nothing wrong with the misleading description in the ad. I will never book with them again.

Sadly this was the worst property I’ve stayed in since I was a teenager backpacking in Europe. Hotel most mostly clean and it was very affordable but you have to share one bathroom with toilet across multiple rooms which is not ideal and sadly the bed linen had something creeping around which woke me a few times on my my fist night. I tried to call the receptionist the next morning really early but it’s an unmanned reception until about 9am so I moved out after only one night and contacted Lastminute in disgust. Lastminute gave me a $50 voucher after having to complain twice and I won’t be using Lastminute again any further.

My room was not serviced once in 8 days which was pretty disappointing. Other visitors were loud throughout the day and night, coughing and sneezing everywhere. There was jelly on the floor in the shared bathroom space, and food flushed down the sink instead of the toilet. The rooms got pretty hot, no control of the heating or cooling except for a ceiling fan. Carpet was frayed and torn up at several points and damaged floorboards.

Poor customer service.
Tv remote and ceiling fan remote didn’t work, said they were going to send someone out to repair but never did the whole week I was there.
Can hear people snoring in the other rooms.
Place is absolutely freezing.
Lied about having a fridge in my room had to used a shared fridge.
Place was disgusting.
They say private bathroom but there’s nothing private about it.
Giving people the kitchen door code which was the same code as my room.
Never again.

I wish I had read more reviews before booking this property. It’s basically a hostel - without a service desk. Be prepared to share a house with other people. Room was small and dirty. We were not provided with own bathroom as booked. There is no mini fridge in the room, and aircon is central, meaning if someone else in the property is cold, all rooms have to be warm. There were multiple steps from our room, down the fire exit to the bathroom and then into shower, it is very challenging for someone with mobility impairments. The bathroom does not even have a rail to place a towel onto. It is basic, dirty and you will find better value elsewhere.

The photos used to advertise the accommodation must be several years old. The room looked and felt like it needed a really good clean and insect treatment (I had the pleasure of killing three baby cockroaches) It was pretty grim, to the point of wanting to leave after only a couple of hours. To add insult to injury- I am STILL awaiting a response from City Quarters on Brewer in regards to them refunding the room charge taken from my account. I booked this room through Wotif.com, who promptly took payment and provided booking confirmation, only to discover later that day, that City Quarters had taken payment AGAIN for the room! I emailed that day, had no response, so called them the next day and was told I would receive a call back. No call, sent another email and STILL NOTHING. My stay was 2 weeks ago.....Disgusting- my advice is STAY AWAY!!

Pros: budget friendly, reasonable facilities, not in crowded city,comfy bed though small room

Cons: it’s not a hotel , it’s a house which was converted in to paid rooms. Easy entry with passwords but noisy auotomatic locks. Small room. Yea Coffee etc at common area,bathroom lacks hand wash. Tea maker is quite old type.
Hotel/ quarter will ask your Card details before they give you entry- despite you have paid, so rather the asking advanced deposit,they ask ur card details for deposit and the let you in.
Parkin is off street and day time it’s 3 hrs only. So good for overnight stay.

I love this location and the ease of getting to the city. I love that I can park at the front door. Check in is a breeze and good wifi. The bed i had was comfortable.
However I was really disappointed this time with the cleanliness of the room I was staying in. Soap still in shower, room obviously not vacuumed, toilet not clean, and bed linen was dirty. My bedside light also didn’t work. Last time I stayed which was a long time ago it wasn’t like this. Such a shame coz it’s such a convenient little place to stay.

We booked the \"Deluxe Room with Private Bathroom\". The room was tiny, enough space to walk around the bed but no space to open bags. There was a pile of nails & screws on the bedroom floor, an empty bracket where the smoke alarm should be, and damage to the wall. There was no air conditioning (despite being advertised), and the window was locked, so no ventilation at all. We had to walk through a communal kitchen to get to the bathroom. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was not attached and fell off, and the shower was covered in a crusty white residue. There was no way to report the faults, as no staff on site, and at 8.10pm, nobody to answer the phone.

We stayed at Room 6, to have a private bathroom but the toilet seat and hand towel rail was broken, there's leaking on the shower tile & no soap holder. The power switch got tripped (due to rain) unable to recharge mobile that Sunday night. There was lights.

It was quite place (no traffic noise). The other rooms were better condition than the one we had. The housemaid was cleaning it when I passed the rooms.

I guess for what we paid for it, could not expect more. Maybe just get those maintenance done.

I had stayed here before, and since then it has depleted. there was no breakfast, even tho advertised. and no bathmatt or face washer. the couch was in need of a shampoo, and yet the bed was superb. so it was interesting. the location is great but it is a real shame it has not the service or the nice feel it had. you know not a cup for tea or coffee!!

When we checked in we found flthy living conditions.
My husband and i have stayed without any issue in many different accomodation, but never so unacceptable as here as you will see in pics.

Been here before and it was nothing like it was now.

Nearly no toilet paper or tissues, then was informed the reimbursement of my $50 security bond had been processed on hotel management's end and was only pending clearance time with my bank. Next day $51.00 was withdrawn from my account (unsure where the extra $1.00 has been added along the way?) without explanation.
Upon following this up with management i was informed housekeeping had reported a soiled bath towel (one of two that was supplied for the two days spent there by us).
Am currently awaiting a return phonecall from managemeny who told me he would follow this up with housekeeping and return my call but im not hopeful as when i requested the return call time management quickly mumbled \"hopefully by the end of the day but housekeeping have just finished their shift for the day.\".....

$51.00 says ill end up having to call them again tomorrow.....

-No stars /wouldnt recommend.

I have never stayed in a worse hotel. When we arrived the room wasn’t serviced and a number of rooms had their doors kicked in. After staying for 2 nights the code they gave us to the front door stopped working, locking us out of the building. I called the number for their “customer relations” staff within office hours and they were unavailable. All our belongings were locked inside and we were unable to access them or contact any staff. I would not stay in this place I think zero stars is an appropriate rating

Nice room. A little small but very well presented. Was not sure if i was greeted by staff or guests, was an odd introduction. One the door would not activate and were left outside trying for awhile before someone finally opened the door and reactivated it not to mention no welcoming. The owner should maybe consider removing floor plans on doors since the lay out was hilarious. Back exit door is not actually accessible from what i could gather and kitchen doesnt exist to the guests. Wishing i had taken a photo. Didnt know if breakfast was served or not but did not see or hear anyone. Beds are comfy and free wifi. I honestly think its nice but should not be labled a hotel.

The accommodation was very good. Plenty hanging and cupboard space for clothing. Nice roomy shower and vanity unit. .
I also liked the single rails for the towels. Brighter bed side lamp would have been better for reading. Lounge area at front very nice. Your staff are welcoming and friendly. good choices for breakfast. Security excellent..(good not to worry about keys)

I was really pleased with this property. I booked at late notice and was contacted by them to ensure I was able to check in after hours. Clean and very comfortable bed. There was a strange low noise coming from what I can only assume was the plumbing which initially kept me awake but apart from that, very happy with the accommodation.

Be sure of what your priorities are. Read the fine print. After you book/reserve your room, you then have to put in your credit card details again, on an unsecured site, for the deposit, as there is no Reception to check in with. You then have to send your photo ID electronically (text or email). Once they process the credit card/ID, then you are emailed instructions on dual code entry for property. Very conveniently located, was clean but holes in towel and mould buildup in shower sealant, Emergency Evacuation procedure refer to exiting via an access door to Room 6, but without the code for room 6, doubt you can't go out that way. Discrepancies with deposit amount, and they keep an extra $1 for the privilege, and breakfast times shown differently on different information sources. Overall ok, but very different, and not for everyone. If you meet another guest, great opportunity to have a chat with a stranger, otherwise you may never see another human during your stay. Reading reviews recommended. Street parking, Multi-board improve limited power points, hot water fine, beware the sharing bathroom/private bathroom option. Con- no customer service so if issues, difficult to sort out, deceptive emergency evacuation map/plan, and expected to use unsecure site to enter credit card. Pro- likely to have a special price, maybe even a free bottle of (average) red wine, and generally clean and pleasant room environment.

Excellent location and breakfast was good and that’s about it. The place needs sound proofing. Can hear everything everyone is doing in the building. Towels or sheets weren’t changed once in the seven days I was there. One powerpoint in the sleeping area. None in the bathroom. Toilet ran the whole time I was there even though I told them.

IT APPEARS THAT NONE OF NTHE ROOMS EVER SEE THE SUN.
Because of this one would expect that the heating would be first rate.
However the heating pad which controls the central heating did not work, and the heat pump in the room was almost ineffective.
The TV on the wall in the bedroom was nit a TV.

Simple, no fuss accommodation for a quick visit.

Overall no-fuss, simple accommodation and fit-for-purpose (which for me was passing through Perth for one night for work). Access is key-less; making arriving outside of regular hours no problem. Mattress a bit soft but on the plus side there was great shower pressure. A short distance from some good food. To note - parking is regular street parking (not on-site).

It's quite different with the James Bond style entry codes needed to access the building they could do with some ice available in the rooms or in the fridge that's in the lobby and the room was way too hot when I got here fortunately was able to disable the air conditioning but it couldn't work out how to do that in the shower area which is still quite hot but better hot than cold

Great location if you are going to the Rugby or Soccer in Perth.
Room was comfortable, walking distance to restaurants. Street parking is available but only free between !7.30 and 8.00. Continental breakfast was good.
Initial problem with check in but quickly resolved.

Not what I expected.

Aside from the paper thin walls.allowing us to hear everything in the other rooms, this house was definitely a bad experience. I say house because that's what it is. You need to clean the room, there was personal lubricant on the light switches, lamp switches, chair and tv remote. After washing my hands several times I decided to leave early, even musky water locked smell in the air wasn't enough.

A good place to stay there is no construction going on around you so it is peaceful.
Not too far from the city about 10 min walk.
Around the corner there is a very good Greek restaurant called Birka also.
Highly recommend dining there.

Lovely room & shared bathroom

Arrived after 1am due to delayed flights. Received the password & details via SMS and email and problem getting in.
Very clean and designed in a stylish way.
Breakfast was very nice with juice, toast, crumpets, croissants, yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. 4 types of cereals available too. Nespresso machine and variety of teas.

i booked through expedia and asked for secure parking,explaining we were travelling in a ute with stuff on the back that needed to be locked up, I was assured there would be secure parking, I also rang the number provided and asked if the parking was secure, upon arrival the parking was on street, rang the number provided again and was directed via text to a back alley with no secure parking, the person I spoke to wasn't in the building and refused to refund my money,,so wont be using expedia again and wouldn't recommend a place that promises something that they couldn't provide..

Very good location - we enjoyed our stay at City Quarters. Staff was really helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was a little smaller than we thought but it was fine as it was very clean. 1 share bathroom & toilet shared amongst a few other rooms - could use 1 other shared bathroom however we didn't really have any problems. Overall, we would stay at City Quarters again.

Welcome to my home.

As soon as I walk in the door, I felt like I'd been welcomed into a friends home.

With a full week of city appointments, It was better to book a hotel instead of commuting for hours each day - couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

Every day, usually at breakfast, I would find other guests chatting about the hotel, it's cleanliness and ambience, and how delightful and refreshing it was to stay at a hotel with friendly staff that really do care about the hotel and the guests comfort.

The staff are just so lovely and they made my stay here a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Good for price

This was a good place to stay the bed was comfortable and the room was quaint. Two things however were some of the pillow cases were dirty and my television did not work at all. There is sadly no reception so noone that i could tell at 10pm when i got in.

Location was to our needs ,clean room good bed
But when going of a shower what happened to the hot water
only just enough to take the chill out not good
