Dishonest photos. Dirty rooms. Chewing gum in the shower, bathrooms dirty. Mattreess was yellow with stains... seeking refund from consumer protection. Expedia are crooks that lie about refunds and send you ai generated emails. Expect to hear from consumer affairs in the coming weeks.

It was a rush booking last min
The sheets had stains , tv remote wouldn't work on my had 2 channels on tv someone set alarm clock to 4am so going off at 4am

Have to say that I really did NOT enjoy my stay at all.

Upon arrival at my room cupboard door open with ironing board cover on the floor. Fridge was turned off with a towel inside to soak up water from defrosting which was quite disgusting as it was all wet. No floor mats in the bathroom just towels and hand towels. AC did not work very well at all so the room quite hot which made for a an unpleasant sleep. In general the room was quite dirty with spider webs on the window which I could see had not been cleaned for a long time. Bed was quite old and uncomfortable, carpet was very dirty also old bathroom vanity I would say looks like 30 years old and all stained and dirty.
Considering the amount of money I had to pay for the room I did feel like very over priced and of a very poor standard so for anyone that gets room 815 I would suggest going somewhere else.

Room felt dirty and dingy. Freyed carpet, dirty blinds, poor patch jobs on the walls, dirty grout in the bathroom and room smelt like it hadnt been aired out in years. Its criminal they can surge charge so exuberantly during the ashes week.

It is very dark and dated premise could do with a freshen up. Breakfast Bacon was dry and over cooked eggs weren’t too bad . I don’t think current pricing reflects fair market value. I will look elsewhere next time

Hotel had a REAL dated feel. Shelves behind the reception desk filled with packages of snacks like potato chips and candy. Not a cool way to introduce the hotel. Bathroom counters were worn and somewhat damaged. Really poor lighting. Some lights not working. Missing bulbs. Because I only needed one immediate night there, was expensive. More than some of Perths luxury hotels. Give this one a miss.

This hotel was okay to stay out for one night, but would not be staying any longer. I found check in quite rude with the receptionist I asked to check in a little bit early and she said the room is not ready then continue to watch people check in 10 minutes after I had asked the time I have lined up to check in my room was magically ready. Also they wanted a $250 bond deposite!! The room wasn't even worth that price, had to debate over this and she took $150 deposit in the end.
The room itself was clean, bed was very comfortable, the shower leaked a little.
Buffet breakfast was average for $25pp,a small selection of hot & cold breakfast options. Real Coffee was extra. The poor lady running it was alone and very busy for one person to do coffee and clean up.

I liked my stay, close to many places. The bathroom had a good space, really liked the shower and bath tub. However the carpets are outdated and needs replacement. And the mattress was very soft and can feel the springs. Unfortunately I can smell the smoke in my room and the corridor. I know mine was a non smoking room but someone must have smoked nearby. Overall an okay stay and it is clean. Hope the hotel can renovate in the future

Reasonable Hotel for a Short Stay

Good relatively well priced hotel in Perth. Close to some good eateries and waterfront. Could do with a renovation though. Friendly counter staff if not overly efficient. Has some drinks and snacks available for sale in reception area. We didn’t try their breakfast or other food.

TERRIBLE! AVOID!

Upon check in staff were extremely rude, expensive stay then have to pay on top for parking and breakfast. Bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. The second you sit on it, all you can feel is springs.
Shower pressure was non existent. Would not be staying there ever again.

I'm surprised about the negative reviews. Maybe we were lucky in room 603. Very clean, good size, excellent hot water, bed was adequate, AC terrific, very nice staff, superb breakfast and terrific value. By far the best hotel we've stayed in in Perth city and we make the trip from the country 4 times a year. We'll now always select the Ambassador. 5 stars in all areas.

This hotel has the best beds. We stayed an extra night just because. The b’fast included was handy to start the day well. We stored luggage for a return visit also. They have a book swap also if you have any to offer. Everyone was so nice and polite. We arrived back late one night; there were no issues getting in.

While this property is showing its age it is probably one of the cleanest, well maintained properties I've stayed in. The buffet breakfast was nice, basic hot food but did have a great cappachino machine. If the rooms were modernised it would be an exceptioal place to stay. I would definately stay here again. Great value for money.

Tired but clean and comfortable

The place is very tired and I was a little disappointed with the bathroom and the basin and bench which are very very badly stained. The toilet seat is also bubbled and unpleasant.
However, I very much loved space of the rooms which were much more spacious and better than most hotels today.
With a very good Spruce up in a little bit of renovations, your hotel could be really really nice

The check-in was easy after a late flight from the East Coast. Courteous staff and helpful. Free parking behind the building. The room was old, outdated and felt a bit grimy. No coffee making facilities in room or fridge. Could hear water all night via plumbing in other rooms.

No dining restaurant, or a proper lounge environment. It should be a 'bed & breakfast' type of place. The hotel should include breakfast if guests wanted it, rather then charging $25 for buffet, which, not many people wanted a heavy breakfast.

It was just a 3 star hotel. It was aging but was OK for just a one night stay where we were not staying long on the premises. The staff were friendly. As it was a busy period and accommodation was hard to find for the night. It was actually expensive for the quality of the Hotel. But there was no cheaper 3 star hotel in the area for that night. It did have a trip hazard in the middle of the foyer with an access plate sticking up above the floor level. That was an accident waiting to happen. Someone did trip on it but luckily they did not fall over. I would probably not stay there again. But it was not bad.

Its very run down......and could really do with an upgrade. The location is ok, but no eating options close, aside from other hotels or the pub around the corner.
The room was average, with a poor shower and ordinary water pressure. I think there are better options for the price or pay a little more for something better.

The Hotel room was large in comparison to some.
The price per night was good however having to pay $17 per day for parking on top took the limelight off it for me.
I stayed there as my husband was having surgery at a Perth Hosital.
The smell that comes through the airconditioning system at times if pretty horrible.
Public transport is right at the front door of Hotel which is very handy.

Great customer service and staff. The rooms are standard but in good condition and clean. The location was what I wanted, an easy walk to the hospital and shops. Only negative the rooms aren’t sound proof so could hear some very noisy neighbours late at night when trying to sleep.

First we were told that there is only one room booked but then we checked our bookings again and informed them that there were 2 bookings
Also there was an additional $100 bond charged and we were informed that the bond will be refunded back but it wasn’t
Please be careful next time when you guys are charging us the bond

The staff were brilliant, however i paid over $400 a night for a run down, smokey smelling hotel.

It was the weekend of Coldplay being in town so that may have impacted the price, but why does the hotel smell like the tobbacco industry just had a convention there.

The room itself was so big and spacious it actually got me by surprise especially having the lounge and tv separate from the bedroom (also with tv) was definitely a great bonus but considering I paid $199 and had no idea until I asked the reception what time the pool /sauna facilities closed, was i made aware that everything was closed and under maintenance so felt a little ripped off to be honest. If there was something mentioned about it online when i was making the booking then i wouldn't have chosen to stay as i could have payed the same price for somewhere that had pool facilities open.
