The property is fine for a short stay if you want cheap and no frills. However request a quiet room, as there was some people wandering out the front yelling and screaming on both nights of my stay. Believe these people are from a park across the road.

Beautiful old building, heaps of travel magazines, and brochures just outside of room for anyone travelling, and the hostess, who was an older lady, she was lovely. Room was clean, bed not the greatest, could feel the springs in mattress, only 2 pillows on the queen, would've liked 2 more, and an extra blanket would've been nice, as doona was very thin. TV aerial was frayed, so TV reception was a bit dodgy. Space between toilet, shower, and sinks not very wide, a bigger person would find it hard using the toilet. Very limited toiletries, and no milk for coffee. IGA very close tho, for anything we needed, and in the deli section, has a great variety of ready made salads, rolls, and meals to microwave in room. Maccas, and a nice park are across the road, park has heaps of pigeons, and a few homeless that were no trouble. Bus stop right out the front of accomodation. We had only booked the one night, so overall, for the price, it was ok.

Easy walk to city centre and train station. Bus stop across the road and IGA a couple of minutes walk away. VERY tiny ensuite but water hot and plentiful. Large room but tired furnishings. If you just want a comfortable, convenient place to stay then I'd recommend this one.

Property served a purpose and room and bathroom were tidy and clean. Old Victorian property and area is somewhat unsafe with people sleeping on the pavement. Close to city not that i went there. Initially I was a Late check in Prospector Train Delay, lock box given by Email, but on Arrival Hard to Figure how to Enter Property. So after checking with my Wife how do I contact anyone involved with Entry a Couple on the Balcony Stated you should have two keys One to Enter and you Room three Doors from the front door.Big Room self Contained with shower and toilet . Room no 2, I soon learnt how to work the Aircon Heater, First night Air conditioner although temperature on 30 degrees blowing Cold air, Night Two out of Three I Finally figured that Air conditioner blowing Warm air Night 2.I Did have a Number to txt with the Person who txt lock box. But was Frustrating to not Having a Go to Person. Number Parking what a Nightmare for Parking in the Area,Found a City of Perth Parking for $15 for 12 hours then Cat and Mouse Parking close to the Apartment but must Shift by 6 am and Find Parking for the Morning and Day.

Do not stay in this accommodation. Terrible service, dirty and smelly, damp bathroom with peeling paint. Bed sheets are old and worn, no blankets or proper duvet for the bed.
The rug on the carpet had food remnants that had not been cleaned up. Key was not left in the secure box as promised, for a late check in. I had to call the owner three times before I got access. Francis had no memory of my booking despite me speaking with her the day before confirming my arrival time and key collection details. Not recommended at all.

Meaning if your rooms close to the entrance you are woken up at all hours of night and early morn by patrons that are unaware of the lockbox function. Sort out your instructions so your patrons are not kept awake or expected to go open doors to idiots at nights and early morns. Not fun at all... I arrived at the property late in the evening Key collection was very easy. The hotel was located close to the heart of Northbridge and lots of restaurants and was within walking distance of the CBD.
Unfortunately, on narrival the bedding was not clean, there were multiple small cockroaches in the room, bathroom and bed and I live in the Bush and am used to bugs. The furniture in the room was mismatched and some of it broken and there were no facilities to make tea or coffee and someone's metamucil was left in the cupboards.
I cannot comment on the staff as I had no contact with them due to my late check in. I left the property the following day and dropped my keys off into the drop box.

I was looking for someone to talk too came across the cleaner and seen the linen cupboard . We have to called on a mobile for more than 5 times even leave text messaging no reply then after got told off because i knocked on the door....when inside it was filfy stink even the bedroom, there wasn't a milk,coffee, just few tea bags one sugar stick the bed wasn't well done i felt itchy sleeping in,when we came back at night not light in the stairs case we walk in the dark,no orientation...was very disappointing.

Check-in and check-out were easy and without incident. I was in the suite at the back next to the laundry and everything including the bed, TV and ensuite was adequate and as expected for the price. A very quiet lodge and outstanding location with access to the free Perth bus service if and when required. Be prepared to pay for expensive parking if you have a car. I would have appreciated some coffee/tea/milk sachets in the room given there is a kettle I couldn't use. In addition, I found to be locked to the back of the property and my suite given all doors into and out of the property were locked at 3.30am but expeditiously unlocked very early before I had to check out at 6am. This is a safety issue that will need to be rectified by the property just in case someone needed to exit the property in an emergency during the evening. I would recommend if on a budget.
