Great breaky choices and it was lovely to relax in and around the pool after going out nearby. I do think the pool area needs more umbrellas for shade options.
Housekeeping staff were wonderful, friendly and thought of everything we needed before we even asked. Kader in particular stood out for his professional demeanour, helpfulness and friendliness. We will be back again and recommending to friends.

Daily breakfast is great. Convenient location. Hotel staff is accommodating. A bit off-putting is that one of our rooms had a clogged bathroom drain, which we reported and got confirmation that it was fixed. Only to find out when we got back that it wasn’t. Good thing it happened on our last night.

Great location - 5 minute walk to Berjaya Time Square (great for affordable shopping) and 10 minutes to Jalan Alor Street Food with plenty of other shops along the way. Staff and amenities were fantastic :) Would stay here again.

I had a room with an amazing view overlooking the pool. Double glazing meant there was no noise from outside (but guests above me were a bit noisy!)
Breakfast was incredible - so many choices. Staff were so friendly, professional and polite. Location great - a very short walk to the monorail.

The room was excellent and serviced to a high standard. The Club facilities were good and offered a selection of food in the evening and at breakfast. Choice of complimentary drinks was good.

The staff went above and beyond. Thanks to Kapil, Jessica, Shirell, Henry. Jon. Nicky. Kushal and Summit for their attentive service.

Thanks also to the staff in the Botanist Bar for the great service.

my 2nd time here, room was clean and ready when we got it. all hotel staff (receptionist, bell boy, restaurant, housekeeping) was friendly and professional too.

my only setback was that on my last day, i was queuing for 15mins for my breakfast buffet - this is my first time experiencing it with a 5-star hotel as i never had to do this however, i observed how the hotel staffs were prompt and quick to rectify the situation by extending the outside tables to guests as soon it was available and replenishing food quickly. maybe hotel can look into this?

The PR is a great hotel - it has a great eco vibe with a lot of greenery inside - perfect match for KL. The room was nice and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed the lounge add on - the complimentary cocktail hour with snacks was great and a nice spot for a light breakfast, although definitely worth it to go to the main breakfast area as the selection there was extensive!

Parkroyal has always deliver good service, and awesome room, that goes to my stay in Parkroyal in KL. A very warm welcoming from Raj at the reception, and the room is spaicous and clean. The breakfast is incredible, wide spread of food from international to local food. location is walking distance to nearby shopping malls. An incredible experience this time and will definitely come back again

First time staying here since their renovations. The lower tier room we booked is smaller than previous and has open plan bathroom/toilet. It is still good value, clean and beds are comfortable. Can’t beat the location for food, shopping and access to trains.

The issues I’ve had at the hotel was the toilet.
The shower glass cover not covering the full shower so water splashes in the main area making a pool of water each time you shower.the stench of stale pee rushes up your nose as you use the toilet bidet.Ive come to realise the cleaning staff just spray and clean the toilet bowl you can see.i wiped a towel underneath the rim and the towel turned brown….
For what you’re paying it’s unacceptable and I’ve never come across a hotel with a toilet smelling like this in my lifetime.there was reviews from 2months ago highlighting this issue and it seems it’s not the hotels top priority.it needs to fixed asap.

The hotel is centrally located: walking distance to both high end and affordable shopping from Seven 11 to Channel. About 2 minutes walk to Times Square which mimics the hustle and bustle of NYC (As a New Yorker, I felt at home ). I often went out at 1am to grab snacks or food, and I felt safe. Area was clean

The stay started off wonderfully well with a lovely welcome for our Silver Anniversary stay. Club lounge was perfect and the staff there initially very attentive. The room was clean and well appointed. Sadly we had constant door slamming throughout the stay, the day we attended the pool, the bar staff failed to show up on time and we could not order beverages not food. Staff in the lounge were clearly overwhelmed with volume and we were quite frankly ignored. Ricky however was superb. Unescorted children in the lounge were not a welcome sight. Our last morning on check out we sat and waited and waited and waited…. No staff. And when I asked the catering crew for assistance we were ignored. A real disappointment to what was such a special visit for us. I’ll feed back directly to the hotel.

This is not a five star hotel. It has a very nice foyer, but the rooms leave a large amount of room for improvement. The beds are rock hard, like sleeping on the floor, now this is common n SE Asia, however, a five star property shold cater to all guests, having pillow tops for the beds woud go a long way to make the stay and sleeping enjoyable, these can be added or removed at the request of guests, not too much to ask for the price that is paid. The inernet was average and the televisions almost unwatchable due to poor signal and the voices not synching with the screen, again for a five star property these things should work.The lighting in the bathroom area is terrible. The lighting i so bad that the only place where you can actually see your face properly in the mirror is to use the mirror above the toilet, I don't know how women use the bathroom mirror for makeup, I had a hard enough time shaving and brushing my hair. On a positive, the pool and gym area are nice. Overall, an average stay, to be honest, there are better hotels for cheaper in the area. A disappointing stay for the high price.

First, the bad news :
1. Check in experience was bad. Chaos. People keep cutting you off because there is no system for queueing
2. The hallway on the 19th floor smell like a full blooded construction zone, very strong paint odor. It appears very clean, though
3. No water in the shower. Need to call someone engineering/maintenence to help pull the water plug, which is unnecessary in the first place as the shower area only has a single hand shower
4. The maintenance staff only arrive after 2 calls and 30 minutes later
5. The wall panel/partition between the bed and the lavatory area keeps vibrating whenever my next door neighbor flushes his/her toilet. This is my biggest gripe as the vibration keeps waking me up from my sleep
6. The smart TV sometimes has problem with its Chromecast function. It connects to my advice with minimal trouble but then the screen would either go blank or turn into a screen saver mode

The good news :
1. Newly renovated, with nice and inviting lobby bar
2. Room was clean, bed comfy and linens spotless. Plenty of pillows too which is a big plus point
3. The hotel advertised my room as King Deluxe, however the bed was very narrow. Struggle to call it a Queen at best
4. Room has a special filtered, potable water tap, a very nice and concrete green initiative
5. Hotel has a nice fitness facility and a good size pool on the sixth floor

Good location- close to shopping, food and monorail station. Room shower fantastic water pressure. Cleanliness ok. Just need to remove dust properly. Can see dust particles on some surfaces on toiletry items and nose feels stuffy. No thongs(slippers)- need remember to bring your own/buy before you get in. Able to check in when arriving at 1pm was very good.
