This hotel is in a great location. The staff is really nice, Eki and Gee were so professional and helpful and friendly, they made our 5 day stay so nice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping was always great. When we come back to KL this will be our hotel. I very much recommend this hotel while inKL.

Good morning.
I was awaken by loud multiple calls to my hotel room at midnight, I ignored it & continued to sleep. Later I heard knockings at my door, I ignore it and try to sleep. Then I heard card tapping sound, doorknob opening up at my door! I hid behind the blanket, pretending to sleep...
The culprit(s) tried to push through the safety door guard, ignoring the \"Not To Disturb\" sign at my door! 😱
I think the culprit piped through the door gap, with the TV still on, with some light from the bathroom, toilet & building outside, no sound then the door closed... 🙏😰

Two more phone calls came ringing to my room again, then it stops... 🙏

I continued to hear steps & knocking sound in the hotel. Complete silence at 1am, then I woke up to go pee & check my room...

I'll report this incident to the hotel reception otw out after my breakfast. Very scary! Let's hope there's no victim... 🙏

Next morning i found out is the staff doing all the above

3 nights stay at Hotel Royal KL

Good location near monorail and subway line.
Opposite Sungei Wang Plaza and next to Lot 10 Mall. Nearby is the Pavilion shopping centre. Plenty of food to choose nearby.
Room is nice and clean. However, toilet area needs a bit upgrading. Would be nice if can provide a hand towel instead of just bath towels, as basin area can be wet after using the tap.

I didn’t like that there isn’t a free parking lot for me to park my car. I have to pay RM20 for the valet service and for a 4 star hotel, I expect the parking to be free. In addition, I found my car have several scratches on the side and the bonnet. I would expect for a 4 star hotel, the staffs will take better care of the guest’s properties as well. Consider covering each car with a car protector. This will surely increase my future confidence with the hotel.

Well the stay was less than good the No Smoking policy didn’t seem to apply if you were Chinese, Korean, Japanese, the cleaning staff would apologise for the smell all through the corridors when these peoples rooms were opened, and run around with air freshener trying to get rid of the smell. So very disappointed and it is a fire danger. And if you want breakfast be prepared for everything to be cold, as all the meals in the morning were straight from the fridge, and most mornings they would forget to turn on the heating elements until it was brought to their attention that the food was cold, I just went out in the mornings for breakfast. I would suggest save your money and go outside. And have a breakfast you can at least enjoy.

the toilet has a smell which i can't quite fathom, more like sewerage smell but toilet not blocked. called and asked whether there is buffet breakfast available, but staff say no such thing when there actually is at the mezzanine level. other that these, the check in and checkout was fast, rooms cleanliness are top notch, and amenities are sufficient. very happy to come back

building cos could hear people singing late night. The location is good but whenever we ordered grab car, tye driver always took sometime to arrive cos it has to make a U turn at the end of the road to reach the hotel.Breakfast was not bad.

Great Location

Great location and situated in the middle of everything, shopping, food, entertainment. Highly recommended for its location.
Hotel staff were great!
Only complaint was the really uncomfortable lumpy foam pillows. Management needs to change the pillows as many of them when taken out of their pillow cases were really horrible looking with brownish stains on them! Very unhygienic and awfully uncomfortable!! Other than that, hotel staff were all great!

I stayed in this hotel countless times... an this trip, When I was doing check-in, the kind and friendly pak cik who have worked there for 30+ years told me today’s his last day. Kinda sad as he is the only guy in the whole hotel who recognize me and chat with me every time I stayed there. He brightens up my day whenever He greets me with his big smile. All the best to him and may he stay healthy! What’s even sadder is I can’t remember his name.... I certainly hope there are more staff who’s like him around...

Perfect location if you are looking for affordable prices e.g. cheap food. Very close to Isetan Japanese store, near Lot 10 and bargain shop but if you are looking for signature brand like LV. look no further. This area has everything. Very accomdating staff always happy to help. Oh and also the buffet has a lot of varieties, they add new dishes in the menu everyday. It has asian and western food as well.

Some of the staff are not professional. Reception is not always response. They don’t have enough staff for cleaning up the room and under schedule too. But they are very polite and kind. This hotel is suitable for families.
This hotel has a high security but the elevator need service. ( The keyboard inside the lift doesn’t work well). The staff in the kitchen didn’t wash the dishes well and sometimes didn’t dry the plates well. I found germ in the cup. Serving coffee and tea for breakfast is traditional and it’s not suitable for a four stares hotel.
The lobby was always very cold.
I think the management of this hotel must change his/her strategy to being better.
The main reason to like this property is there are no hookers in this property and staff are kind.
I felt comfortable even if something were wrong!!!!!

Location was excellent for the price paid. Rooms are well appointed, clean, modern and the bath had a good rainshower. However beds were too hard, aircond was noisy the entire time and view was of an adjacent building which was so close it blocked out much sunlight.

Good location right in the heart of the city . Price good . Bed was uncomfortable but on the second night they improved it with a topping , topper whatever you call it . Bed was still average but better . Dark room but not bad . Breakfast average coffee terrible but that’s how it is in Malaysia . Staff rude for the most part . Just a good local good price ok place . During our stay with Hotel Royal, one of the room (Single King size bed) aircon is down upon our return after our shopping trip. There is short of hair towel in the twin room. Due to the breakdown, We request for the change of room at 11pm! This is not our first stay with Hotel Royal so this time really disappointing.

BREAKFAST WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTING ,CHOICE OF FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, FOOD WAS NEVER REPLENISHED , EVERY FOOD HAS A SWEETNESS TASTE TO THEIR MALAYSIAN TASTE.
STAFF ARE ALWAYS TOO QUICK TO CLEAR THE PLATES OF FOOD ON THE TABLE WHICH WAS NOT EVEN EATEN AS YET AS ONE IS AWAY TO PICK UP FOOD FROM THE BUFFET COUNTER. THE RESTAURANT STAFF SHOULD FIND OUT FROM THE PERSON AT THE TABLE IF THEY HAVE FINISH WITH THE FOOD

THE RECEPTION STAFF NEEDS TO BE MORE APPROACHABLE WITH A SMILE ON THE FACE AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED .

THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB DURING MY STAY.

THE CONCIERGE STAFF ARE HELPFUL WHEN INFO IS REQUIRED IN TERMS OF DIRECTION AND BAGGAGE HANDLING.

Good centrally located hotel for all the amenities around Bukit Bintang. As it was Chinese New year the food was more to the large number of Chinese clientele but there was always something to meet western tastes. Overall a good hotel I would use again.

I'm so so dissapointed during my check in on 24 Dec 2018. My booking and payment was fully completed for my 2 nights stay @ deluxe room, thurs the hotel staff infomed me that thier room was OVERBOOKED. They offered us to move out and stay at Federal Hotel. We are very upset and at last they have no choice and upgraded us to stay at deluxe executive. My first experiences with the room overbooked!!!

Prime location, close to many shopping malls and eateries. Room is huge and spacious. However cleanliness is not up to standard - stray hair in toilet when we checked in, kettle with leftover coffee powder from previous guest. Reception staff was not the most friendly when we asked about the in-house laundry service. Most importantly, the wifi is bad and unstable!

Worth your money!

I travel to KL every month and tried different lower priced hotels around Bukit Bintang area. After staying in a few different hotels, I still feel Hotel Royal is still most worthwhile for their rates. Most importantly, I love their 24hr room service and quality is not too bad!
