Had a great stay at the hotel. The only issues were when calling Grab. It will be a long wait because of the traffic jam.

Highly suggest to use the train service whenever applicable as often as possible to save time.

For the room, it is well maintained although looked slightly old. Regardless, it is still a great experience.

The staffs are really friendly and patience. I just want to thank the hotel manager, Mr. Farizan and his team for helping me out with my misplaced phone charger earlier on and deliver it to me safely via shipping.

On my first night checking in, I found my dirty room with stained bedsheets. I quickly asked for a room change but they didn’t let me, and instead passed me some new bedsheets (and had me change them by myself). The next day, I asked for refund for one night, and they said they couldn’t, and gave me another room instead. And that night, instead of dirty bedsheets, I found a small cockroach in the room. I don’t know if this is consider “normal” in Malaysia but I was a little disappointed.

It is close to so many good food. You can take the free KL bus which is close by. There is hot water and you can refill your water at the lift lobby. Ironing is also available for free to use. Will definitely book this hotel again.

Acceptable for the price that I paid. But the room is way different than the pictured room. All pictures looks nice and clean but reality it's not at all. So dark and seems dirty. No curtains for bath and bath is easy close to the toilet so after shower, the toilet is going to be wet that makes me feel disgusting. Wall, and door were so thin so you can hear what people talking about clearly from the wall. I woke up at 6am because of the sound from the next room which is like someone bouncing ping-pong ball onto the floor. Also some people needed to check out early morning so I could hear the loud voice from the door. In KL, I guess you can find better hotel with same price. Not recommend this hotel.

This hotel has car parking. It is good point. But the location is difficult to find out because there is car parking behind hotel. We can put our car besides entrance first. Then, we can get hotel stuff's support.

Good stay with one gripe

Room was nice and clean. Service was very good. My only gripe would be that coffee mugs had lipstick stains. They were not cleaned well. Overall, it was a pleasent stay. Security was very good. A key-card is used for the door and taking the lift.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Wish we never stayed here, We paid for a particular room, but the room we got was nothing like what was pictured. They put us in a damp room that had little bugs crawling on the floor, walls, table tops, everywhere. Was disgusted. They moved us to a different room but then we had to PAY more for the room! I could not believe this. There was construction going on all night which was so loud, and in the main lobby work was going on which was in the ceiling area - dumping asbestos insulation on the heads of guests walking by! Additionally, someone from the front desk banged on the door at 10 pm at night demanding for the first room key to the room with the bugs :(which we turned in already) but were disturbed abruptly at that late hour for a room key?!?! We could not believe it. Shady front desk staff. Did not want to even return my room deposit without a receipt- but they never GAVE us a receipt! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. A TOTAL RIP OFF ON TOP OF IT. THE LOCATION GOOD THAT’S IT. There are other places much better and cheaper than this. STAY AWAY!

My fiance and i needed a cheap hotel for the night, hotel location was great as its at bukit bintang. Service could have been better but it was still ok. Rooms are close to one another so we can hear the hotel guests from the other room next to us talking loudly. Beds and toilet are all superb.

Ok for the price. Just a note that the cleaning staff refused to make up our room because we arrived in the morning and we are going out in the afternoon. But they agreed to clean the trash bins and replenish our bottled water and towels after explaining we had a late check-in (instead of early check-in).

Receptionists were not friendly at all when we check in (maybe too busy??). Towels had bad smell. Overall the room and hotel is clean, location is good where you can get to sungei wang plaza, low yat plaza, times square and MRT station in just minutes walk.

The hotel was was ok . The reception service was good. The location was great as it was great local shopping.
The hotel room was very tiny and not much room to put ones belongings....... here was the worst we had hundreds of tiny ants from nowhere and this was very discomforting.
The tiny furniture was so tights to the wall and up close to the bed that it appears extremely difficult for the cleaners to do a thorough job. The pictures in your web site of the room are deceiving.

Opted for this hotel due to its price & ideal location (For ladies, the short quiet lane leading to the hotel might feel unsafe during late night). Room was clean & has all the basic amenities. Water pressure good. Hot water worked fine. Clean towels. Comfy bed, however pillow was too soft & flat. The only complaint I had was the shower area. There is no seperator so the whole bathroom & toilet seat gets wet.

Rude Front Desk Staff & Terrible Smoke Smell

The hotel is located in a strategic area. It's so convenient to walk around Bukit Bintang from the Hotel especially if you're looking forward to go to Pavillion. The room was clean but as the hours pass by, the smell of cigarette smoke became stronger and stronger to the point where we decided to go out and get some fresh air. On the way out, we stopped by the lobby to see if there's anything that the hotel staff can do but we were answered rudely and instead of giving us the exact sized room, they downgraded us to smaller room instead eventhough it was not our fault and not a single apology from the hotel staff.

Comfortable bed. Free parking. Near time square, sungai wang and pavillion. Enjoy KL town night life and many people on the street. Izumi is a good hotel to stay at KL town. Shopping shopping, eating eating and enjoy life in KL town. Walk to KLCC through the pavillion, night view of KLCC is super beautiful and amazing.

It was meh...

I arrived at 4 am. I was told I could not check in until 7 a.m. once I was finished waiting a couple of hours in the lobby to check in, they charged me an early Check in fee of 50 ringgit. If I was to be charged to check in early, why couldn't I check in when I arrived?

Other than that, there were no window in my room except for the small window in the bathroom.

Location is good. Better not to expect good facilities and hotel hospitality, but it is OK standard if you don't expect too much including hotel staff. To access to a guest room by elevator, you need to touch your hotel key card, and press floor button. Since hote staff did't explain it upon check in, many of hotel didn't acces to their room.

A hidden stay in the heart of Bukit Bintang

The hotel location is the main pulling factor for the stay. Being in the heart of Bukit Bintang making it accessible to great shopping experience, delicious food to eat and to experience the surrounding environment. Most of the major shopping outlets are within walking from the hotel like Lot 10, the Pavillion, Sungei Wang Plaza etc. The staffs are helpful and makes you feel welcome. Having an ample parking space added the necessary convenience for those who travel using their own transportation. Even better when you are upgraded to the next room level without incurring any additional cost. The standard room has a reasonable room space with a small wardrobe.

Cleaning issues

When we arrived at Izumi hotel it was a bit late. We got to our room and found a sock between the sheets and a stain of some sort on them. Which means the sheets were not changed since the last guests. No problem we switched rooms. Next room had an intense cigarette smell, as if someone was in the room smoking. We tried to tough it out but being asmatic, we asked if something could be done to which they responded \"we can spray the room maybe it will help\". We decided to give up and go to bed. We stayed a total of 3 nights. The bed was comfortable, the staff was super nice and the shower was great. The only issue was the cleanliness. The walls were stained with juice, cigarette burns and there were quite a lot of ants roaming around. For the price and the location, it's an ok place to stay.

The hotel was located in very centralised and easy access to all the destination. Room was spacious, however the bed is very small, and also in the toilet there is no mirror it's was not convenience for us. Staff and quite friendly, when we ask for the pillow, it was delivered to room immediately. Reception also try to give us the room as earlier as we arrived before check in time.

Izumi; Not Just Some Typical Cheapo Hotel

Am surprised on how close this hotel is with lots of Bukit Bintang chill out spots. Among lots of hotels of its liking in this dense area, this hotel kills it with the free guarded parking which really was a convenience to families coming with cars.

With the cheap rates as well, the complete amenities and the clean cozy, facilities provided had given me the bang for the buck.

Would definitely return should i plan to crash at Bukit Bintang in the near future. Recommended!

The location is definitely great, free parking, short walk will reach Lot 10 area, so you can walk to Pavilion as well. Very convenient. Room was okay, it's not so clean of the bedsheet, nice shower room, room kinda small, but it was okay. It was heavy rain, we need to go out to get our car (just outside of the hotel parking, actually we can walk also, but we dont know it's so near) so we asked from the Hotel Staff whether can borrow an umbrella to us so we can get on the car & return it back, but the staff insists that they have no umbrella can borrow us (or no this kind service whatever). I was very dissapointed, as least you can help us to see what can do to us, or actually you really should some spare umbrellas in the hotel. At last, we try to ask the guard, the guard is so friendly & told us he has extra umbrella, but small one, can borrow to us & return at night is not a problem. (The guard is so much helpful than the staffs).
Anyway, for the location & price, it's worth to stay as long as you don't mind the room is a little bit small.

Check-in was relatively fast. Got a spacious corner room. Two of the walls facing outward were fully glass-panelled so we got a nice view of kl. Sadly the aircond in this room wasn't cooling properly. Called reception and they immediately switched us to another room which was slightly smaller but reasonably spacious. Had a good night's sleep after that.
