Room was ok clean tho it was a non smoking room i can smell cigarettes odour inside the room. Probably this was due to the poor ventilation system from the upper floor. Walkable distance to major shopping malls. Great.

The location of the hotel cannot be any more perfect, it's literally right in the center of the heart beat of KL beside the pavilion mall and metro line.
Due to its location its loud and very busy all day and night.
However, the hotel is definitely dated and needs work but the location cannot be beat.

Didnt have any hard pillows tgat I'd requested fir my bad back. Asked for an hour extension for check-out but told i will be charged. I have stayed in this hotel in the past but i won't anymore. Furthermore, hotel is old and looks rundown.

Food options are almost non existent.

This is a very central hotel in the Pavillion area and the price is a little higher accordingly. Staff very helpful. Room good although it seems there are Deluxe and ANSA Deluxe rooms. The latter have apparently been renovated. I have one of the slightly cheaper Deluxe rooms. Still nice but I expect it will be in line for an upgrade.

Priced at 5 star but worth a 2 star. Nightly rate was way cheaper at walk in rather than booking in advance from websites. Old hotel without any facilities. Some weird smell everywhere in the hotel. Staff not friendly and the neighbourhood is very noisy.

I had a disappointing experience in Ansa Hotel. I had specifically requested for my 2 rooms to be side by side as I was travelling with my 2 teenage girls. When we arrived, the staff gave us 2 rooms in 2 different levels. Despite explaining our concerns, he flatly rejected our requests claiming it was the agent's fault for acceding to my request and claimed Hotel was full for the day. Only when we refused to accept, then the staff managed to find 2 rooms on the same level. Rooms were not up to good standard too. Regretted my booking. Wont recommend it.
There are many hotels that provide good service in this vicinity.

A few areas that are very disappointing

1. Hotel drop off area - you need to take the stairs to the lobby. Which is very silly. Most tourists will have luggages. That’s inconvenient.

2. Dirty areas. The carpets were stained. And the whole building looks shabby. Strange smell also. Smells mouldy.

3. You can’t use Apple Pay. Need the physical card. Which is another inconvenience.

4. Cleaning staff woke us up and asked why we have not checked out. Only to realise they got the wrong room. Frustrating.

The saving grace is the location. Which is really near to Pavilion malls etc

This hotel is not a place to stay for 5 nights like we did- more 1 night stays. There is no pool and if you don’t mind loud rock bands playing music not far from the hotel in the street until 1am and fireworks at 2 am then the hotel is great. It is right in the heart of the very busy area of Bukit Bintang. The room was clean and modern though not especially large. I don’t think I will be staying again.

Great value for Bukit Bintang area. Location is unbeatable, right in the middle of everything with mrt just accross the hotel. Excellent service from the staff. Arrived early on a Saturday and they allowed me to check in early and even gave me a room upgrade. I requested for a late check out the next day and they were happy to comply. Very happy with the overall service. Even their house keeping staff greated us with a smile when they saw us. Aircon in room wasn't cold enough though but it was still bearable. Parking on site was limited and tight and a bit dark. Overall very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend.

Bed not made up next day, cups etc remain dirty and unwashed. No coffee, tea, sugar etc provided and response S are lackadaisical and indifferent despite informing them of issues.
Will not stay here again and warning to others. No wonder I did not see any other gust in lobby or roims

I chose this hotel because of location very convenient. I got some problem during my stay about the A/C, even already checked with maintenance but still warm. Not to much facilities provided. The hotel will be awesome if have a swimming pool or bathtub for relaxing in the room and cafe or f&b.

Room 1111 was offered to me as a newly renovated which I accepted despite the high floor. Room was good, but unfortunately the space between the kettle/fridge cabinet and the sharp squared corner of the end of the bed was narrow. I ended up scrapping my calf multiple times, needing precautionary antisepsis. The desk lamp failed and the light above the desk was too dim to work under.
The LED strip lighting above the kettle fell off as it was not secured into the recessed edge of the shelf. One of the power point and cover on the kettle cabinet wall was loose and failed.
There needed quite a lot of trial and error to work out the multitude of light switches, but the lighting in the amenities area is pleasantly effective. Overall, the room was comfy and on the compact side.

Definitely not as bad as some reviewers here claim. In our opinion, rather the contrary: no ants and no street noise to be heard during night nor day. If street noise bothers you, it’s safer to ask for a room facing the back lane. The hotel is well designed, with bathroom and toilet separate. From the ventilation system you could hear a rumbling, vibrating noise that became more apparent during night time. Checking in and out was trouble free.

Great location - it is in the heart of everything. The rooms are very nice but the towels are very old. The staff is not there to make you comfortable and happy. They are there to guard the place. Anything we asked the common answer was “No.”. I think they are trying to cut costs by saying “No” to everything.
I would stay her again because the location is great and just not expect anything from the staff.

the hotel is in a great location very close to everything you need, transport, food, shopping, markets, free bus service, trams, trains.

The room set up could be improved as the shower and toilet are right next to the bed so you can hear and smell everything that is going on. This is the same with the sink so there is no privacy.

Booked for 5 nights. 1st night, construction literally next door went on till 2:30am. Not able to have a good night’s rest. Request to change room . On 3rd morning, after leaving room for lunch and back within 2 hours, my wireless earpiece disappeared. During that period only housekeeper and subsequent supervisor entered the room. Report missing item IMMEDIATELY when I returned.
I had left the earpiece in the room for the last 2 days without problem.
In the end, the management felt they trusted their staff and propose I could make a report with the tourist police. Comments like : if ppl want to take, they will take more expensive thing. Maybe not, becos it will be immediate police case. This is petty theft. Housekeeper spent close to 20 mins ( based on their report) in the room, but toilet bowl was not cleaned, toilet roll was missing and tissue box was left with 2 sheets. I had to call front desk to replenished .Supervisor was supposed to check that all is in order after housekeeping.
Will not choose to stay here .

Location is perfect as it is in the centre of Bukit Bintang. However my dissapointments were the room (710) smelled bleach, without a refrigerator, lack of tv channel choices, aircon is totally not cold and i need to pay for parking.

This hotel has no disability rooms. Also, the room only has single pane windows, which for a very vibrant area, makes it quite noisy in the room. We were on the 9th floor and could hear people talking on the street. Staff were very helpful and friendly and rooms were nice. Bed is hard, if you like that.

Great location, next to Lot 10 and Fahrenheit. Just opposite pavilion. Friendly and helpful staff. I accidentally left an item in the room when checking out, the staff went out of their way to return it to me. Availability of parking ($10/stay) was important being in heart of KL which is notoriously difficult to find parking space.

Location is superb. Smack in the midst of Bukit Bintang, with Lot 10,Pavilion, Star Gallery etc all within walking distance. Did not get the breakfast as I believed food options are not a problem with so many food courts,cafes and restaurants near us. Service in general is at the most so-so,not particularly enthusiastic and kinda lack luster. Other than the location and spaciousness of the room I honestly don't have much to say about the hotel. Think will try other hotels next time I'm in KL.

The hotel location is convenient but noisy as in the middle of a busy road and the window insulation is bad so the sound of the street singer downstairs could be heard from the room. Also, the bathroom of the room is an open one, with hand washing basin at the side of the bed, no privacy. There are flies flying over the basin every day. Cleanliness need to be improved. Do not recommend this hotel.

For a 4-star hotel, this place was terrible. Our sheets and pillows were dirty, they were not cleaned or changed from the previous guests. There’s was hair in the hotel room. We saw ants. It smelled old and the customers sucked. No one smiled and no one even asked us how our stay was. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We even had to check out early because of how filthy the hotel was.

Booked a last minute trip through hotel.com for 4 people, 2 children at 2 adults and paid extra for breakfast. We chose a room that stated it could accommodate our family. The room allocated had one king size bed and they could not offer any further bedding for the children. Alternatively we could have a room with two single beds! The room also smelled strongly of cigarettes even though we were on a non smoking floor. We complained 3 times and had to request to change room. We were only allocated one key card and had to request another the following day. We were also only given 2 towels and were told we were not allowed more even though I explained there were 4 of us in a room. I had to remind them that they had 4 passports on file and clearly there would be a major health and safety breach if there was a fire and they only had 2 people staying in our room, not 4. They still didn't allocate more towels. No apology either. Breakfast consisted of redeeming vouchers at the Starbucks in the hotel lobby. There was no real management to speak to and we were unimpressed with the hotel and facilities. The location however was excellent

This hotel cannot be a four star hotel!!! It should be two stars. Most of the staff are fairly friendly, but their manager is absolutely not. The hotel consists of a poor cleaned room and that's it nothing else to do (no professional services, no gym, no restaurant, no swimming pool, ..... nothing of any kind of normal hotel features!!)

We like it’s location.
We had the refurbished rooms when we were here in Oct last year. And those were great!
But I cannot say the same about the older rooms. There were dust piling on the floor underneath the tables and in the wardrobes. The hand towels provided also looks worn out. With them overlooking the mere basics, it is hard to bring myself back here again.

I was upgraded to suite from deluxe room. Front counter staffs were all very friendly and trying to get us a cab or grab to the airport though the morning the area was road blocked for a marathon event. Location was supper as the shopping mall and Jalan Alor Food Court was nearby. Will stay here again for any chances.
