Right in the heart of the old town \"palace\" area. Exceptional staff. Room just as it looked in the photos and was great. Have to walk maybe 2-3 blocks to get to hotel from any taxi drop off, but that is true of all the hotels in the old town. Can't get anywhere in the old town area by car. t was great to be in the center of all the action. Hotel was quiet. Would definitely recommend highly.

Everything about this hotel is special. It is built within the walls of the Diocletian Palace, and yet is fully updated with all modern comforts. While the hotel is small (boutique), we were given a surprisingly large room up a few steps from a small courtyard nestled away from the crowds. Everything we wanted to see in Split was an easy walk away. We were welcomed by Jan who was an incredible host and a tremendous help to us throughout our stay. The small dining area sustained us with amazing breakfasts and additional food/drinks throughout the day. Additional dining options were available right outside the hotel. For the location, charm and the warmth of the people, I highly recommend staying at Heritage Hotel Antique in Split.

This property is in the heard of the Diocletian Palace. They were very helpful arranging a pick up and drop off at the airport. The breakfast is very good and love the coffee machine. They were very helpful with restaurant recs and any question we had was answered. There is A/C in the room, which was nice. The shower was good and had hot water. We would definitely recommend. Keep in mind if you are looking for a lot of amenities or a view this hotel does not have that, but offers an experience within the palace and so much is walkable.

The location was great, the room was nice but not special. The staff was great as was the made to order breakfast along with the limited buffet. You have to be aware that you are right across from the bell tower and the bells go off as early as 6 am. We were fine with it and knew that ahead of time. But you just can’t beat the location. In all a great antique in old town stay.

It is located within the walls of Diocletian's Palace and adjacent to the cathedral and historic center. The room was just as pictured, scrupulously clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with interesting dishes to try beyond the standard. The staff was fun and friendly and genuinely a pleasure to engage with. To stay here, book early, or like us, come during the off-season when the price is lower and crowds are smaller, as this is a small family-owned hotel. Our stay five day stay was perfect and I can't overstate how much we enjoyed our experience here and in Split.

The staff was amazing. Ante's level of service was above and beyond. We had a few solid recommendations for anything we wanted to do and they always turned out great. Our room faced Diocletians palace courtyard which at night was great to have the windows open and listen to music from outside. Breakfast was delicious. The location could not be more central to the old town. Parking would be difficult but we reserved a spot from the hotel which is conveniently located right outside the golf gate/park and was super convenient.

Heritage Hotel Antique Split was a wonderful place. We stayed there three nights. We arrived by ferry at night- Jan was waiting and helped us get to the hotel. The dining area was very nice- and daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with ideas for exploring. They also helped us get transportation to the airport when we departed. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous staff. I'd hire any of them. Terrific breakfast - diverse fresh and plentiful. Clean and comfortable rooms with some historic charm. Patio is entirely walled but nice that it's open to the sky. Must climb stairs and a bit tricky to find front door. Staff and breakfast and all day snacks are stellar.

I highly recommend this property. The location is extremely convenient (right inside the palace walls and near all the action). The staff is excellent. Ante made us feel at home and offered numerous helpful recommendations when we arrived. They helped arrange an airport transfer (for an additional fee) which was very convenient. They also helped us get to the ferry terminal so we could make our ferry to Dubrovnik easily without stress. The breakfast was amazing as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. We only wish we could have spent more time here.

As a start, the hotel is in the best possible location in the old town of Split. Even overlooking the square it's also very quiet. The daily breakfast by their chef is delicious. But most of all, it's the staff who are spectacular. They can't do enough to welcome you and help with any request. If you're lucky enough to stay here, you'll be thrilled with Antique Split.

The bathroom floor was heated. There was a vanity mirror so that my old eyes could see to do my makeup. I loved having a kettle in the room. There was also a stocked refrigerator. The air conditioner was perfect. The breakfast…oh the breakfast! You should just come here to eat breakfast. Oh my word! Divine! So many choices! We’ve NEVER stayed where there was this nice of an included breakfast. Jan made sure to accommodate my request for a downstairs room. My husband was recovering from knee surgery. The nightly liqueurs were delicious. Seriously, this is the place to stay in Split.

A beautiful property with amazing staff. Since it is inside the Diocletian's Palace, it is so convenient to walk to all the sites. If you plan to go in summer make sure you plan your parking because the hotel has limited parking spots.

Daniela was superb with check in and all of her recommendations. Jan also went way beyond to help us. Both walked with us to tours and ferries. The staff are “second to none” - they were always available and provided so many great tips for dining (even calling the restaurants for us), they had suggestions for interesting side trips in the area, the breakfast was fantastic (an amazing chef - pastries, breakfast options, etc). This hotel situates next to the silver gate. Only one minute walk to the palace, the cathedral and bell tower. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. The chef made a cheesecake for us in the morning and it’s the best cheesecake I have ever had. Staff named Daniela helped us with the check-in. She provided us with detailed guidance on the places to visit along with the history background of the sights. She is very knowledgeable and sweet. If I ever come back to Split I will definitely choose this hotel again.

A real gem! Met us at parking and carried our bags. They spent 20 minutes explaining highlites of old town, made dinner reservations. Always ready to help make any reservation and great dinner recommendations. The staff went above and beyond! The breakfast was great with hot egg or crepe options. Amazing experience! The staff were SO kind and accommodating (especially Juliana who checked us in). We arrived very early before check in and they had the room waiting for us and we also had a late check out. Spotless hotel, updated and extremely comfortable, large rooms (for Europe) and the location was incredible. This was the best hotel and value for money on our whole monthlong trip to Europe. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come back to Split!

Visited Split for 2 days before we left for a cruise and we stayed at this hotel. Let me tell you how unbelievably amazing the staff was. Whether it was information on the palace, awesome recommendations on where to eat or helping carry our luggage to our rooms (no elevators in hotel) every staff member was super nice and accommodating and just a pleasure to deal with. We stayed in the Superior double room and it was very nice and spacious. Didn't have a view of anything except the buildings next to us but we were fine with that. The breakfast was a nice little spread of homemade pastries, fruits, meats & cheese and other items. All in all this was a great boutique hotel with an amazing staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Having stayed in so many luxury and / or boutique hotels , I have no second thoughts in saying this has been one of our best stays. Everything, from the quality of breakfast to quality of room and beds to even high quality ritual products in bathroom. Special mention of Juliana , Jan and Teo. Nothing was ever too much for them !

This is a wonderful property in the heart of the Palace area. The best thing here is the service - Ana, Filip and staff were wonderful to work with before and during our stay. Whether it was arranging our Covid tests in our room prior to return to the USA, providing made-to-order breakfast each morning, helping with restaurant ideas, or taking care of the transportation to the airport for our departure - this was some of the best customer service we've ever seen throughout 30 years of travel. We can't recommend this property highly enough!!!

We loved this place it was right in the centre of split the Saturday night sat in the adjacent square with live music was magical. Close proximity to the amazing market getting set for picnic on the beach.
