JAZ Belvedere has got to be one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Lovely staff, spacious rooms, amazing pool and beach. Several activities such as Zumba on the beach, kids disco in the evenings, a kids club with crafts and games.

Food for vegetarians wasn’t the greatest as part of the buffet however luckily the chef made sure we were fed well and cooked suitable dishes everyday.

Breakfast was the best with lots of options from eggs to various types of bread, lots of fresh fruit and veg too.

A pasta bar everyday during lunch and dinner was great too.

Our first time in Egypt and we will definitely come back again.

It was okay. However we had an issue when booking the taxi for Dahab. The taxi driver told us to withdraw cash at the ATM, which we did but then refused to take us to Dahab and told us to pay at reception. Reception said they wont accept the egyption currency as they only accept euros which makes no sense. The taxi driver then argues with reception after overcharging us to take us to Dahab because he simply did not want to in arabic. Instead of apologising for the inconvenience, the reception staff started being rude to me and blaming me that its my fault I wanted to go to Dahab, that I wont get in as I need visa. I found this so rude and disrespectful. Bare in mind, I asked them for change as I was going to pay the taxi driver over by 20 EGP and the reception staff said “that’s nothing.” It was unbelievable. Instead of offering customer service and apologising, i was being blamed and honestly being scammed by the taxi service. I dont reccomend this place and I wont be staying here again, I’m unsure why it is 5*s when it’s really not, it’s 3* at most. Even housekeeping was atrocious, there was no dental kits in the bathroom and we waited for 90 minutes for it to be delivered.

We have just arrived home after a two week holiday at Belvedere it was our second stay there and it was still incredible on all points. The staff everywhere were very attentive to our every need. A special thank you to the cocktail bar staff who made our evenings (admaq Omar Mohamed Ali ) they were always smiling and happy to see us and worked really hard delivering great cocktails to everyone.
Our housekeeper (Mahmoud) was fantastic, he went above and beyond to make our stay a happy and pleasurable one thank you Mahmoud.
The food in the Buffet was fantastic. Tasty hot dishes, BBQ everyday outside. Beautiful fresh salads, breads, fruits and deserts we could not fault anything.
The pool side and walk way between the beach was hosed down early every morning and they kept the area clean all day. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate. Great pools one heated. We would definitely come again in the future. Thank you for a fabulous stay

Jaz Belvedere completely restored my faith in what a resort can be. From the moment I arrived, everything just *worked*—smooth check-in, clean and modern room, perfect A/C, and a view that reminded me why I came to Sharm in the first place.

The food was far better than expected for an all-inclusive. Real variety, actual flavor, and enough rotation to keep things interesting all week. Even the coffee and desserts were decent, which is rare at resorts.

The beach? Spotless, quiet, and well-staffed. The Red Sea here is stunning, and there’s easy access to snorkeling right off the shore. No chaos, no garbage, no nonsense. Just peace.

The Wi-Fi was surprisingly stable—even in my room—which made it possible to check in on work when needed. The staff were polite, professional, and genuinely helpful without being overbearing. You could tell the entire operation was run with pride and attention to detail.

**Bottom line:** If you’re tired of overpriced “5-star” resorts that deliver 3-star service, come to Jaz Belvedere. It’s clean, calm, well-managed, and actually delivers on what it promises. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Really enjoying my stay at this hotel. The beach is private and absolutely beautiful—clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The whole place is very well-maintained.

I like the quietness. I was there on my own for a mini break and I felt safe. The staff were attentive. Just one little moan I was having my last lunch before leaving and a member of staff came to me asking me to come to the front and pay for a late check out. I found this unnecessary and felt a little embarrassed especially as I had asked about paying at the reception the night before and was told to just pay when I was leaving.

Nice hotel but staff need training and wifi update

The hotel is really well maintained, the place is clean and the facility up to good standards.
Very good entertainment team, housekeeping and some of the restaurant staff were also good. Food was ok but nothing special (having been a chef in the past, I could tell how most of the food was recycled from one service to the next).
The negative side, rudeness and total lack of standards from the Bar staff at the beach, drinks are very basic, front desk staff don't seems to care/or are unable to handle any situation outside the normal routine of check in/out, WIFI is useless, it is available only in the lobby and this also almost never work, staff is aware the problem has been going on for long time but nothing is being done to fix it.

We have just returned from having 2 fabulous weeks at the Jaz Belvedere. The hotel was beautiful. The reception and the lobby bar were immaculate and the decor was very classy. The pool area was always kept clean by the staff also the beach was spotless. We could not fault the food at all. Lots of choice there is a pasta station, BBQ outside for meat eaters, lots of vegetable dishes, salad area, fresh fruit, and an array of delicious breads. The staff were outstanding, very attentive to our every need, and always had a smile. Thank you to our waiters (I did get their names to give them a recommendation but didn’t realise the paper was in my husbands shirt pocket and it went in the wash) so we think it was Mamoun and amti. They were always in the first two areas from the door and one always would always say the Italian Bon appatito they were both great. The pool bar did delicious pizzas thank you Mohamed sabre for great service. Housekeeping was also attentive, rooms were spotless and towels were changed every day. I cannot fault this hotel, we had a fabulous relaxing time great staff we will be definitely be back.

Do not go - too boring and rude personnel

We had an issue with our reservation, partially our own responsibility (even though we made a call before placing a reservation and got a verbal confirmation that it's fine). We have been lied that we never talked to stuff over the phone; later - that we spoke but they never gave positive answer. They never proposed any options or alternatives, in the end - Mahmoud at the Reception informed us, I quote \"I do not care\". That was the last drop, and we moved out after 3 days, instead of staying 12 booked nights originally.
Hotels.com support was absolutely brilliant and supportive, while Jaz team constantly dragged the processes and ignored emails, didn't speak over the phone, etc. Awful, the worst experience ever. Could have never imagined this would happen to us, as we travel frequently, several times per year.

Regardless of the reservation drama, the hotel is too small, the area is very weird, you have nowhere to walk in the evening.
The food was not delicious, my kid and I finally ate banans not to be hungry. As an adult, I normally ignore this fact, but this time was too prominent.
The pool area is clean and very nice, but too boring, no music; drinks served with no ice; the bar is too far away from kids area, so you have to make a choice - to take a drink or watch your kid.
The only positive side is cleanliness, but I doubt anybody would only go for cleanliness in case of a summer choice. Recommend rethinking the concept and, of course, treat your guests better.

Not everywhere you have the feeling that they really want you to enjoy your stay as much as possible. This is one of those places.
Another important point is the beach. If you have kids and want to stay in peace of mind, this is the right place: It is in a bay whose depth degrades very slowly. They can play in the water without adventuring in the deep blue.

We loved our stay! The property is gorgeous and the grounds are well taken care off, with a great pool and beach area. Plentiful and delicious food at all meals served with a smile. Our suite was just amazing, huge (bigger than our apartment!) and with direct ocean view. We had a couple's massage and it was very good. The entire staff was really the cherry on the cake, specially the chef He Sham and our waiter Ahmed. We highly recommend Jaz Belvedere and are already planning to return next year!

A Gem by the Red Sea

This resort is a true gem by the Red Sea. Everything was absolutely perfect. I would give it five huge stars. We really enjoyed our time. The beach is super clean and the service is top notch. The sea view rooms have a wonderful view of the beach and Tiran Island. I can’t give a single thing to complain about.

On the beach

Despite Expedia stating that it is an 11 minute walk to the beach, it is actually on the beach. This is a lovely hotel with friendly, professional staff. Everything you need is there but the location is quiet, close to the airport and about 20 minutes from Naama Bay.

The all-inclusive option is very good with a wide range of choices which change daily. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day.

There are lots of small touches which will make you smile, such as a different flower design on the bed each day and even live Easter bunnies on show during my stay.

The nightly kids disco gets a bit tedious but is very popular with the little ones. There is then a different show each night.

Guests are mainly European and staff speak a wide range of languages. It is a very family friendly hotel and very professional.

Right from the start we had a genuine warm welcome. Particularly when we said we were from Britain. The hotel is lovely and there is lots to do. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean. The food at the buffet is ok but when I mentioned to the chef that i was disappointed there were no falafels he made me some specially.

The weather this Easter was good too. It was windy but that stopped it being too hot.

My big gripe would be the internet. They say there is free Wifi in the lobby and pool area but you can only get on this at 7 am or 3 pm. They need to sort this out.

All in all it was a lovely place to stay. The staff were great and I will definitely return. P.s good value for money too..

Wonderful 2nd stay

This was my second stay at Jaz Belvedere and from the moment I was checked in I felt so at home due to the friendly service. I had a beautiful sea view room and the daily housekeeping was impeccable. Food at the snacks bar was delicious but the food in the main restaurant was generally good, with the exception of seafood theme night because almost all items contain fish and no good if you do not like fish. Service in the restaurant was a little slow but the hotel was fully occupied at the time of my visit so understandable, and the staff really did their best and provide good service under pressure. The pool is very beautiful with one heated. Service around the pool is almost non existent, when I stayed previously, drinks were brought regularly and offered but in this occaison it was necessary to keep going up to get drinks (which are served in very small cups). Lobby bar are very good, nice relaxing area, great service and a new drink on the table even before the first was finished.
Everything about this hotel is really good, the gardens are immaculate and so beautiful. I would totally recommend this hotel and just wish that british flights would be reinstated. Thank you to all, particularly Emma and Jennyer guest relations, Sayed pool boy, Mabrouk housekeeper, Mohamed and Mahmoud waiters and Mahmoud the manager of the restaurant and bars.

I could not have been happier. Friendly, clean, great beach, good food. The only thing is the Wi-Fi. It was hit or miss. Mostly miss.
But they went the extra mile for my birthday. Helped with a late check out. Not once was I told no.

Wi-Fi wasn't enough to lose a full star. I'd give it 4.5 stars. 5 stars with better Wi-Fi.

Don't hesitate. Give this place a shot. You won't regret it. I'll definitely be back here.

First of all, far away of being a 5 stars hotel - service and facilities:
1. the worst and serious issue in these days is the complete LACK of security, personnel incharge are standing like any of us, having absolutely nothing in case of an Emergency; the guys on the beach at the edge of the resort fence have nothing except a mobile phone. With direct access to the sea, none of them have a stick or gun or even a walkie-talkie, same the guy at Reception, he has no bullets in the gun.
2. food is very bad but worst is the way of presentation. Restaurant looks like a canteen. Haven't seen a banana in 10 days, the country of oranges if u want to drink a fresh orange juice at breakfast you gave to pay 1 USD Cash ( after you have paid all inclusive). Fruits are displayed like for chimps.......melon, apples and oranges cut into very very thin slices and displayed on trays,
3. All inclusive for drinks is a joke.....only local drinks, all cocktails very cheap; on the beach only cheap juices, from machines, with chemical taste.
4. Room service - a disaster,. I ordered one club sandwich one evening and after 45 minutes i called to cancel the order, when it finally came, it was disgusting.
5. Beach towels are very poor quality. Beach guys are keeping the front beach beds for their favourite guests, so in order to get a bed close to the sea, you need to catch it at 8 am

Hope to go again!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the service was superb. We arrived extra early, about 9 am, and they checked us in. We later changed rooms to a location closer to the pool (because of our 3 year old), and they were very accommodating. The room was spacious! It was hot there, so we did have our A/C on. The resort itself is beautiful! The beachfront is very nice, with lots of seating. Unlike other hotels I have been at where the beach chairs are all taken with towels by 8 am, when we got there around 9-10 am each day, there were lots of seats available. The beach is rocky, like many in the Red Sea, and shallow - perfect for our little son. We did rent a paddle boat one day; they even had a little life jacket that fit nicely for our son, and the guys at the boat rental helped to fit it on him right. We found the pool to be freezing oddly enough our first day, and not too bad the other days. There is a small kids pool as well. The food is spectacular! Breakfast is the same daily, but so many choices. Lunch and Dinner had different specials each day, and we really looked forward to arriving at the restaurant to see what we would get to eat. The head chef was always out at dinnertime to greet guests, ask them about their food that day, and to help change up the empty trays. Our servers in the restaurant, Hamada and Waleid, were great - they always had our drinks at the table when we walked in! Actually, all of the staff are wonderful at the hotel. I really hope to go back!

Best hotel we've ever stayed at set in beautiful grounds, rooms were fantastic and spotlessly clean with great facilities. the staff were amazing, thoughtful, patient and lovely to chat to and have a laugh with. food was great and varied and refreshments available all day And the A la carte restaurant made for a very romantic evening. The spa was also brilliant and well worth a visit, had a couple of massages and a facial, again the staff were lovely and welcoming and made us feel very relaxed. Had such an amazing time we've decided to go back later in the year instead of a trip to Bali. Wouldn't even bother looking at other hotels in Sharm!

Amazing hotel!

Jaz Belvedere is one of the nicest hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. Guests are mostly English, very few russians. Food is so good specially the snacks. Very nice big pools located right by the beach. Service is perfect and staff is so friendly. The one con is the beach, very shallow water. Good for swimming but no corals at all.

Lovely, comfortable hotel

We really enjoyed our short break at Jaz Belvedere. There was plenty to do, lots of space round the pool and free sunloungers on the beach, staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food was good - lots of choice. I am pescetarian and there were plenty of lovely vegetable and salad dishes. Spirits and cocktails weren't the best but beer and wine fine. Overall very pleased!

Excellent hotel, exceptional staff, terrible food

Our room was absolutely beautiful - from the moment we walked in we loved the view of the sea, the furnishings and the room itself. Both the room and the hotel are finished to a really high standard and it was a pleasure to stay in the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained and we constantly saw lots of people tending to the gardens which were beautiful. The pools were also lovely (though a bit chilly!) and it was nice to spend some days by the gorgeous beach and some days relaxing by the pool. The only problem was the food which was absolutely appalling however the staff went out of our way to provide alternative options for us.

First time we have visited Egypt and thought the hotel was very good and the staff were excellent, especially Katy and Chef Mohammed (who looked after my wife's gluten free food).
We had a lovely room right on the excellent beach. The hotel is not a UK 5 star and definitely not a Dubai 4 star but it is still very clean and has lovely grounds with great pools and lovely gardens.
The only drawbacks were people trying to sell us trips all of the time when all we wanted to do was relax and as soon as you go outside of the grounds of the hotel, the surroundings are not pleasant.

This hotel is compact, spotlessly clean and with its own beach provides a perfectly relaxing holiday environment. The staff are very attentive, always ready to help and listen carefully to comments you make. Their aim is to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. You can be as active or inactive as you wish to be. There are daily programmes going on e.g., pool aerobics, belly dancing lessons, bocca, beach tennis to name a few. Two good tennis courts are available at no extra cost.If you do not wish to swim in the sea, then there are 3 pools you can choose from plus a small childs' pool. There is shade around the pool area, and on the beach, permanent tree shades. Sun beds are there and the staff ensure these are clean and tidily arranged before you arrive. The grounds are beautifully kept with sprinklers coming on early morning. Grass is mowed, leaves etc swept up daily.
New arrivals do get targeted by the staff keen to sell diving excursions, spa treatments, beauty therapy, and one can understand this is how they make a living. Just be polite and say no if this is your wish. They tend to leave you alone then! However, the massage was very good!
Taxis were bookable in reception with prices fixed for various places of interest. Excellent Air Con cars and reliable.
Having its own private beach and a very good security team on duty 24 hours, this was a location hard to beat. We were completely relaxed and felt very safe there. We intend to return.

Large hotel near a beach

My first impression of the hotel when I arrived was that staff were friendly, accommodating and the room was reasonably clean, though on closer inspection of my room, the bed sheet was torn so not a five star hotel. All Inclusive included a free bottle of natural mineral water in my room everyday, this was not offered to me for 3 days until I had requested this. I missed my excursion to mount Moses as a message from reception staff about earlier pick up was not passed on to me and so I was left very upset and disappointed as it was one of two excursions that I had booked through my stay and did not go because of a message not being passed onto me and the reception staff made no effort to find me when the driver arrived to pick me up at the earlier time. There was a complete lack of communication. The general manager was apologetic and kindly compensated me for the missing my excursion due to the fault of a member of staff. I would not be recommending this hotel for the reason mentioned.

I went in sharm elsheikh for more than 25 hotels I never seen before such unfriendly attitude from the resort staff like this one, hotel food is unbelievable really rubbish. Great hotel.

This hotel has all the facilities needed for a beach/swimming pool holiday. The rooms, public area etc are lovely. You have the choice of several pool areas, as well as a big public beach area. The staff at the Jaz Belvedere are among the best I have encountered in many hotels around the world. They all do their part in ensuring you are happy with your stay. Families are very well catered for, with a hard working and inventive 'Animation' team. If you are a couple looking for rest and relaxation this hotel also caters for you as there are plenty of quiet areas where you can relax and get away from it all.

Great location

We stayed 5 days in October. The location is great just 5 min from from airport. The scene is breath taking the beach is quiet and clean. The 2 unsatisfying issues were the room cleanliness, as sheets were not changed throughout our stay and pillows were not comfortable at all. pool was so cold they start heating pool in November as we were told. Kids could not enjoy pools. We recommend them to start heating earlier than November. Also food varieties need yo be considered specially for lunch it was terrible we avoided it and waited for dinner most of days.
