Stayed at Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh for 7 nights in April 2026.

Beautiful resort, but unfortunately the experience didn’t match the 5★ image. Service was inconsistent, staff often inattentive (especially around the pool and evening entertainment), and the food quality was disappointing. Basic touches were missing on arrival (no welcome drink, empty minibar, no robes/slippers), and we frequently had to chase for things like drinks, housekeeping, and even towels.

There were some positives — customer relations were helpful, the resort itself is stunning, and a few staff (like Ahmed in the Market Hall) really stood out. The pools are great and cater to different vibes, and it was nice that they arranged a birthday cake for my child.

Overall: looks like a 5★ resort, but feels more like a 4★ stay with 3★ service and food.

Wouldn’t return.

First, the positives from our stay at Cleopatra. We loved the buffet restaurant. The gardens were beautiful. The spa and pools were excellent.

Now the negatives. We were looking forward to a pleasant post travel recovery from 6000 miles and six time zones. We specifically requested a quiet room. Upon arrival, however, they upgraded us to another room just steps away from the beach. The following night at 8:00 p.m. an extremely loud sound system started to play music for a pop-up beach party just outside our room, and bright beams of flashing lights lit up the night sky. Low bass frequencies began thumping through and shaking the walls of our room. We complained to guest relations, the concierge and the front desk to no avail. They offered a different room, but this would have been the equivalent of having a flight attendant move you from business class to economy instead of telling a person talking loudly next to you on a plane to be quiet. The booming, blaring music lasted until the party concluded with a fireworks display at 11:30 p.m.

The following day we asked that our room not be cleaned so we could rest and recover peacefully, but they entered our room to clean it anyway. We asked them not to call the room, but they called anyway.

We want potential future guests to know that Cleopatra Hotel is not for serene relaxation. A good night's sleep is not guaranteed. Cleopatra Hotel is a party venue.

We asked to be as close as possible to the reception and got a room that was at the very end of the resort, which required at least 15 minute walk every time we wanted to dine or use the amenities. The toilet was leaking, and a strong sewage smell was in the room. We had to go to the reception 3 times because our keys got deactivated over and over again. Talking with the manager brought no results at all besides saying sorry. It was overall very disappointing.

The hotel itself is stunning and very picturesque. The property is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels luxurious. The hotel is also very clean, and the staff are polite and welcoming.

However, the vegetarian options are extremely limited. The only choices available were grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rice. There was a pasta station, but for an all-inclusive resort, you would expect a much wider variety of vegetarian dishes.

Communication was also challenging at times. Many staff members struggled to understand English and often relied on AI to communicate. Even something as simple as requesting a cup of oat milk became unnecessarily difficult.

Overall, the hotel is visually impressive with great servic, but the limited vegetarian options and communication barriers made the experience less seamless than expected.

We enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Cleopatra luxury resort. The food was good with plenty of choice each night, and the staff were all very friendly. Special mention to Ezzat & Moustaffa around the pool who went above and beyond to ensure we were as comfortable as possible. The only drawback for us was the gym which could do with some refurbished.

I completely will definitely recommend this resort to everyone who comes here. It was an amazing experience. Every staff member made it a beautiful memory. The staff is so professional and kind. The spy experience was fabulous. The manager and his staff work miracles they all deserve a big raise. I wish I could name each and every one of them, but I’ll tell you that everyone who was with us during this week was amazing. The rooms are nice very clean. The food is delicious. I had a very good stay at Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh. The resort and its location are excellent, and it’s very close to the airport. Pre-booking a transfer is not really necessary — taxis are easily available on IDrive and very cheap. I paid around £3 from the airport to the resort, which is very reasonable.

The resort itself is large, beautiful, and well maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere. The grounds and facilities are impressive, and everything feels spacious.

Food quality depends on personal taste. Some dishes were really good, but I felt there could be more variety, especially when compared to resorts in Antalya, where food choice and taste are generally better. A wider selection would make the experience even better.

Overall, it’s a great resort, excellent value for money, and I would recommend it, especially for its location and overall comfort.

The hotel staff went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. We arrived early, were given early check-in. We spent the day on a snorkelling trip and were welcomed back despite not spending a second night in Sharm. I highly recommend the resort. Lovely staff, good food and so accommodating our every need.

The hotel, room size, facilities cleanliness were great.
However the food quality was poor, both myself and my partner had upset stomachs with on and off vomiting throughout our stay and we stayed for 4 days prior to that in Cairo, where all was normal.
The reception staff were helpful especially Rahma, but in the restaurants the staff showed very little interest in providing good service you'd expect from a 5 star.
We dined at the Red Sea Wharf on our anniversary night where food was better, but the head waiter(Waleed) was quite rude at the start wanted to sit us on a table next to the toilets rather then 3 tables with a good view that were free at the time and later on he came to check on us and recommended a wine that they dont even have in stock. Thankfully we were looked after by Salah the rest of the evening, he was good and with his smile and kindness made our evening better.
I would like to also highlight Ahmed from Pilli pub, like Salah he was really kind to us and everyone in general, which made a difference.

Check in people need to get additional training on customer service. They were below average in terms of handling customers questions and concerns and they lacked the welcoming attitude. Beach is mediocre. Nothing special at all. Food is good. Pools are great. I wish I could say I’d go back. But that experience I had when I checked out and my family were standing waiting for our ride and no one even asked if we need help or offered to help carrying our bags left an extremely bad taste.

Our recent stay at Cleopatra Luxury Resort in Sharm El Sheikh was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home.

A special mention to Mohamed Sobhy at the front desk, who went out of his way to accommodate our large family, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free late check-out. His kindness and professionalism truly set the tone for our stay.

The dining experience was exceptional, thanks to Mohamed, Shams, Ahmed, and Abdel from the restaurant. They provided top-notch service, always attentive to our needs, making sure that every meal was enjoyable and stress-free, especially for our large group. Their friendly and welcoming nature made us look forward to every meal.

A huge shout-out to Mohamed Abdel Azeem from concierge, whose hospitality was beyond expectations. He always greeted us with a big smile and took care of our transportation to and from our villa as if we were family. His genuine kindness and eagerness to help made a lasting impression on us.

The hotel was nice and the front desk staff was friendly, however we felt a bit misled by the all inclusive we thought we'd get. The all inclusive only includes one restaurant out of many choices and there were restrictions on which alcohol and when we could get them.

I would recommend this place with a good price but don't count on it being all inclusive like you would see elsewhere.

Its impossible to be a five star resort.
Air conditioning is NOT working, they don't even have AC in the lobby. Staff is very unprofessional. Rooms is very outdated.
They rely on the guests coimg from a specific nationality, and i'm sure they get it with very very cheap rate. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights, but we checked out after 1 night. Its very bad

Grounds were well kept and clean. Property was stunning, not tacky like some older hotels. Very aesthetic and modern. Food at buffet was great.

Italian Al a carte restaurant wasn’t our favorite. Save time and just stick with the buffet.

Went on 6 dives over the span of 3 days. Had a different instructor each time and they were all great.

Cleopatra Luxury Resort is a very nice hotel to stay. The first impression was amazing.
When we arrived at the hotel lobby, which was beautifully designed with fresh flowers, we felt the luxury. We were also satisfied with the check-in. It took a maximum of 15 minutes even with the transfer to the room.
The hotel uses golf carts to transport guests. You don't have to walk anywhere.
The gardens are beautiful, the infinity pool is top notch.
The staff and bar tenders also the lifeguards are very nice and helpful, of course if you can appreciate their effort and you $, they will give you everything. The room was nice, had a good standard.
The housekeeper in our section was very pleasant and always very helpful.
Market buffet is ok, some staff are very nice and very friendly. For me, the food at the resort was good. There are not as many options as in other hotels we have stayed in before, but there was always a choice and the food was well prepared.
A la carte restaurants did not suit us.
Our kids like the Hippo kids klub, animators was friendly and kept eyes on them when we wanted to relax on sun.

Our stay at Cleopatra Luxury Resort was amazing. All staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We stayed at the hotel with the beach as opposed to the adult one. It was only a 10 minute drive from the airport.

The facilities within the hotel were worth the fee we paid. The buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner had a variety of selections.

The hotel itself was beautiful. Excursions werent far - we booked through the hotel and they were good value for money. Main attractions were within a 30 minute drive. Would recommend grabbing taxis from outside of the hotel as these were half the price.

Overall an amaxing experience and would definitely come here again.

Staffs and hotel are amazing but the lady at the guest relation was very rude.when we came hotel late midnight they put some breakfast in my room but when we opened the mini bar it was empty. We went to guest relation desk and asked the lady why is empty she said cause you are all inculisve and ıf you order we can put some drink inside mini bar. yes we knew we are all inculisve but maybe we want to drink something late at night in our room we want to pay money ıf ıts extra. But she didnt listen us and nobody put any drink to our minibar and her behaviour is very rude and terrible otherwise except this lady other staffs was very helpfull and amazing. Thank you

An excellent hotel. It has a seaside beach. The rooms and food are very clean. There are flavors very similar to Turkish dishes. Future Turkish friends should not have any reservations. The employees are friendly. We would like to thank Mr. NASR at the reception for his help.

You pay for what you get. food Was ok, fresh, not a lot of variation. Kids club had limited activities for children and it wasn’t really Advertised you had to go look for it.

Resort was ok, the executive suites have not been refurbished, they are very old, damaged and tacky. We changed over to a junior suite even then not all that nice, the smaller rooms were better condition. Check in took 1.5 hours for some reason. Staff were very nice and friendly. The lady at the spa counter was very rude and unprofessional.

We have just returned from a two week stay at The Cleopatra Hotel. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, the customer service was outstanding. Every single staff member go the extra mile to ensure you have the best holiday. Our room was clean and spacious with cute towel art which amused our littles ones ( aged 5 and 3). We stayed in room 2110, our house keeper was amazing and the added extras he provided never went unnoticed. We spent most of our time at the activity pool. The lifeguards were so assertive and the pool bar staff were all incredible. Foam parties were a firm favourite. The family pool at the front of the hotel is always quiet, it has the inflatable assault course which proved so much fun for the children. The infinity pool is simply stunning and huge! Kids club was welcoming, Anna, was much loved by my two... mini disco which she led so enthusiastically each evening was a highlight of the day for our little girl. We enjoyed wonderful lunches at the beach bar looking out onto the sea. The staff at the Pilli Pilli bar were incredible - George and his team were all so attentive. Mina and Ahmed at the lobby bar were also shining examples, providing exceptional service. The food was to a very high standard, the a la carte restaurants were both utterly delicious. Special mention to Mr Eid in the restaurant who made sure our time at the Cleopatra was the best it could be. A true gentlemen who provides outstanding customer service.

We had a lovely holiday at this resort. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food in Fellinis was superb as was the beach grill restaurant bar. The only setback is you have to book Fellinis and the Red Sea wharf restaurants. Make sure you book as soon as you arrive otherwise you might not get the opportunity to eat in these places.
The pools around the resort has something for everyone. The Red Sea is great for seeing a variety of fishes. I would recommend this resort if you are visiting Sharm Al Sheik.

This property is not 5-star and not a 4-star, as positioned in Expedia and Trip Advisor.
1st, there was a minor booking error on our side which resulted in an extra charge which was not resolved by Expedia.
2nd, the sea is not accessible from the beach as it has a shallow bottom with sharp corals/stones coated with slippery seaweed.
3rd, the food selections were plenty, but most of the food was oily or loaded with sugar; the “diet” table’s food was scary to touch; “free” drinks were not drinkable, and even water was supplied from large canisters of unknown origin; most of the food was dumped into the waste containers at the end of the meal hours.
4th, rooms had outdated facilities/furniture, even in the most expensive units.
5th few businesses on the site run in circles offering the same services again and again, which was annoying.
The reception staff appeared disorganized and not cooperating; to meet the 4-star benchmark, all staff needs to be trained to understand how to behave and avoid showing their attitude. Overall, long way to improve to achieve the 4-star level.

The property is amazing! Lots of different pools (including an infinity pool), various restaurants providing fresh delicious food and right next to the sea to do lots of snorkeling. The hotel was clean and safe and staff were all friendly and helpful - in particular Reda Amer who was always helpful in taking care of us and our room!

We spent 5 days at the Cleopatra, we had a blast, the hotel is very nice, beautiful gardens, pools and beach. The staff was friendly and gave us space. The food was great. We had a family room, which was clean and spacious.

I just love this resort, this was my first stay there and definitely not the last, pools were great, room was clean, spacious and had a nice view, food variety wasn't bad and tasted really good, staff were always helpful and cheerful, they always raced to go the extra mile, so clean, I wanna give a special shout out to Ahmed Eid (Restaurant Manager) who was so welcoming and accommodating since our first minute there, Awesome front dest staff, Wonderful Azza and Ragabo from SPA, and the friendly animation team, long story short, best hotel staff I have ever dealt with, and the whole stay was just amazing, totally recommended.

INCREDIBLE HOTEL AND STAFF

Hello Everyone, we preferred incredible Cleopatra luxury resort and came to hotel with my friends on 15march at midnight. The staff welcomed us and the very kind gentlemen staff Mr Muhammed/Mohammed at reception gave very special assistance for arrange good rooms and check-in ,he was very helpful and did everything that he could do. Specials thanks to Mr Muhammed/Mohamed and to all hotel staff for giving us the best quality and amazing times at hotel. Also the environment is very magical , beverages are good,the vibes are so relaxing! There is a very nice pool bar where you can seat and chill and order any drink you want! Also I recommend the hotel for families with child. I hope will be back again... So appreciated thanks..

Amazing holiday!

We had an incredible stay at Cleopatra with our 4 young daughters in February. The staff were amazing, and our every single request was taken care of straight away. From the very moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost hospitality. Our family suite was very luxurious. Mohammed Gad at reception was very helpful with organising anything we needed. Reda at the Market Restaurant was so attentive and looked after us well there. We loved the food at the Beach Grill and A la Carte restaurants. The snorkelling is amazing, no need to go anywhere else! At the unheated pool close to the villas, Nabil at the bar and Momen were very friendly and helpful. The life guards at the heated pool were amazing with our kids and went out of their way to look after us. Special thanks to Mohamed Thabet, a life guard at the heated pool, who even organised a birthday party for our twin daughters, and spent time teaching them to swim!
We will definitely be back for another wonderful holiday!

This property was amazing. From the staff to the rooms. Food, dining area and kitchen staff,amazing. Always there to make sure you need anything . Greeted with a smile every time. Amenities were amazing. The Cleopatra spa was wonderful and relaxing. Amazing Morrocan bath an massages. Always felt safe and secure in such a large property. I would recommend this hotel greatly. I plan to come back with some girlfriends for sure in the future

Beautiful gardens and wonderful swimming pools it is definitely a hotel we would consider returning to.

The highlights include definitely the spa and wellness centre we had an awesome hamman and went back for further massages.

Also the staff in the main were very friendly and very family-oriented the animation team were brilliant and made us all laugh repeatedly.

Room for improvement includes the front desk who agreed for us to have a late check out but that never went through the system and led to a discussion on our final day unfortunately.
The food is okay sometimes a bit same each day but the two à la carte restaurants were not as good as we expected them to be and in future we won’t buy the bottle of wine it was no better than the house wine.

Good place to stay, nice and welcoming staff that have managers and are not rude in the slightest.

Wifi was not great of you are near the sea rooms, the resorts needs a shisha bar or shisha lounge and more entertainment such as night club but overall really good place to stay.

we stayed for a week. hotel is great, people are friendly. few issues though, the internet is really really bad with no connections most of the time. room service trying their best but usually it takes almost one hour to get a spoon or cup. we stayed in a villa but unfortunately, the kitchen was completely empty, no plates, no cups, no forks or spoons; nothing at all. there is no microwave in the unit which is annoying for someone with kids. Another problem is that the pool operate only from 10 am to 5 pm and it's August !!! i would be nice to be able to use it after 6 when the weather is slightly better. the breakfast was good but unfortunately, it's the same buffet every day.
I couldn't use the phone in the unit to make local calls and there is no public phones at all in the lobby !
so, i had to use the reception's phone every time i needed to make a local call.

Beach and reef was nice, great views of the Tiran strait from sea view rooms.

Free wifi only in common areas like pool and restaurants. In room wifi requires rental if a wifi router for a fee.

Cleopatra is a stunning resort and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The food is decent, the rooms are spacious and amazingly cleaned on a daily basis. The resort is right on the beach which has an amazing view. The only complaint is the constant presentence from the salesmen on the beach for the beach excursions. A lot of people travel from all over the world to enjoy a relaxing vacation and being harassed all day a the beach or the pool is necessary. Other than that enjoy yourself because the resort overall is beautiful.

أنا نزلت في الفندق أنا و عيلتي في الفاميلي فيلا و حقيقي المكان رائع و نظيف جدا و الاستطاف كلة قمة في الزوق و رقى المعاملة و الابتسامة و الاكل طعمة تحفة رغم انة الاصناف مش كتير زي فنادق تانية زورتها لاكن الطعم آكتر من رائع و مظبوط جدا بجد شكرا لكل شيف تعب في التحضير و عاوز اوجة شكر خاص للأستاذ عيد في اسطاف المطعم الرئيسي و احمد حسن بار مان
في المجمل كانت إقامة جميلة جداا و استمتعنا و انصح كل حد انة يزور الريزورت دة هينبسط جدا جدا 😊♥️

Racist racist racist. They accused me of charging something to my room while I paid cash for everything as I went along my stay. No one from management considered that it could have been an error. I was kept for 40 minutes trying to explain and almost missed my flight. I just ended up paying the extra charge so I could leave and catch my flight. not too many guest of color were there during my stay and I was treated like I didn’t belong there.
