Rooms and hotel were spotless. The gardens were exceptional.
Loved everything - best food was at Amourie the Lebanese restaurant, for us.

Hated the surrounding area outside the hotel - grubby, seedy and felt cheap.

Golf buggy rides around the hotel and up the pier were such fun. Ride up the pier to go to the free snorkelling

Upon arrival the hotel lobby is beautiful. We were greeted with fresh drinks and warm hospitality.

Rooms are spacious and well kept, bear in mind there are no lifts. However, they have buggy’s to take you around which was the best thing ever! We had a lovely pool view.

Food - there are 5 a la carte restaurants and depending on your stay you could try up to 3-5. We tried amoura (Lebanese) our favourite, limoni (Italian) also amazing and sinfiran. You also have the option of the main buffet, pool side restaurants and beach restaurant. There’s plenty of options and tasted all delicious.

There are 3 main pools which includes 1 adults only, They are heated which was great.

Staff were very lovely, in the buffet area they were always helpful and welcoming. Also, everywhere around the resort they are available and always ready to make your day better.

HAMA was our favourite. They are spot on with customer service and the views from our balcony honestly 5* luxury

Overall the stay was very nice, until we checked out and got a surprise €70 bill for mini bar usage. Apparently soft drinks ARE NOT free as we were told on arrival. When they say soft drink that ONLY applies to Coke and Fanta. Any other non alcoholic drink is apparently not considered a ‘soft drink’.

This put a dampener on an otherwise nice week, and the reception staff argued black is white than their interpretation of soft drinks is only coke and Fanta, and offered no concession as a gesture of good will (we had nothing that wasn’t included in the all inclusive package at any bar in the resort).

Otherwise the resort was very good, all bar the reception staff were very attentive and friendly, but this was sadly let down on checkout when service was a extremely poor!!

Also be aware that although the site itself is peaceful, the resort next door is not, and they play loud night club type music until 11pm, so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep as it bleeds across to the Steigenburger.

We stayed at Steigenberger Alcazar all-inclusive hotel for 9 nights in early April. The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and a stunning coral reef just off the pier — a clear highlight of the trip.
However, several issues made the experience less enjoyable. There aren’t enough bathrooms across the resort grounds, which was inconvenient. The beach is shallow (1–2 feet) and not swimmable — you can only enter deep water at the end of a long pier.
The snorkeling pier only opened around 10 a.m., even though mornings were calm and cooler — a missed opportunity for guests. Pools closed at 5 p.m. daily for chlorine cleaning, which left a strong smell and could have been scheduled later without disrupting guests.
Service was minimal. At the buffet, no one checked if we needed drinks or utensils. No waiters by the pool. Towels could only be exchanged through room service, which wasn’t convenient. À la carte restaurant staff didn’t know the menu well — e.g., confusing sake with soy sauce. Descriptions were also off: a “seaweed salad” was mostly carrots, and “salmon on beets” came without beets.
The spa felt neglected — low on towels and only one of four steam rooms working.
While the reef and natural beauty were amazing, poor service and puzzling management decisions really held this place back. With better hospitality and attention to detail, this resort could be great. For now, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The property was beautiful, great facilities but, the food in the buffet was limited and not a lot of it, trying to get a drink was laughable. Whether by the pool or by in the main buffet it was impossible. Some of the staff were rude.

To balance out the negatives the main bar service was superb and the food was better in the a la carte restaurants.

Reputedly the second best hotel in Sharm.

I wouldn’t rush back.

Got lost trying to get back to the room after dinner: building numbers are not well let and signs are a bit confusing.
Had difficulty getting dinner reservation.
Spa is by reservation and then it is really very weak: sauna is not hot enough, steam room is hardly steaming and the jaccuzzi is cold and the jets are very weak.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Good choice of restaurants - all good, Hama was our favourite. Two downsides for us - Spa was excellent but very expensive - given location of hotel, not feasible to access alternatives. Also at this time of year, it can be windy which makes snorkelling and diving from hotel difficult. Overall - thoroughly recommend.

For a winter sun break, this property ticks a lot of boxes - large, well equipped resort with a selection of decent restaurants and a staff that is (mostly) anxious to please. However, it’s a stretch to say this is a five star resort as the service could be haphazard (language barrier unfortunately contributed to this) and the attention to detail on certain things not being quite up to scratch (room fittings such as leaking shower and broken kettle for eg). But then the price of this resort does mitigate the downsides - it certainly offered good value for money overall. So, if you are looking for wow factor and a once in a lifetime break, this isn’t it but if you want a decent, fairly priced week in the sun it’s a decent option.

We had higher expectations based on our last year's vacation at Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle. However, we still very much liked the attitude of all personnel at Steigenberger hotels.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at swim-up rooms and truly enjoyed having the pool right in our balcony. It offered great privacy. The hotel over all was nice and as luxurious as promised. The staff are nice and friendly. There is a large selection of food but it could be better.
Note to people of color- the majority of guests are white and unfortunately many carry themselves with so much privilege. Not the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware

This is a superb hotel , we had a superior room for 5 nights which had a domed ceiling and large balcony with a sea view .
The gardens were beautifully kept and has 3 enormous pools one just for adults . We had no trouble getting a bed by the pools or on the beach .
The main restaurant had a good selection but found the food a bit repetative and bland and it is a long way from the food to the outdoor seating terrace .
Waiters repeatedly came to the table and asked what we would like to drink but the drinks rarely arrived , there is no self service which would have been much better .

The al la cartes were better , but get booked up very quickly. We tried the Lebanese with belly dancing show which was fun .
The whole place looks very impressive and we really enjoyed our stay a few minor improvements and it would be perfect x

Beautiful beach resort. It’s new with spacious and well insulated rooms. The food was very good and I highly recommend opting for the all inclusive option. The beach and multiple pools are perfect and make you feel like you are truly in paradise. Lots of games too - tennis, billiards, corn hole, volleyball, etc. My only negative comment is that they don’t know how to make mixed drinks and the wine is subpar, but everything else was 5 stars.

However the seafood whilst the location on the beach perfect, gave me a nasty bout of food poisoning which was not ideal. Was I unlucky yes probably but be careful.

We loved this hotel. It’s our first visit to Sharm after 20 years and the hotel location, structure, furniture and all facilities are amazing. The service is something else, everyone wants to provide you with the best service. We loved all the waiters in the main restaurant and the chiefs. The food is very tasty with so many varieties to please everyone. We loved everything and will definitely come back when we visit Egypt and Sharm again.

It was a great welcoming property with good children activities! The spa is quite over priced, resorts needs more supermarkets and little food stalls outside the premises.
We had a slight issue during check in as there was high check in traffic and unfortunately the lady who checked us in barely spoke English and vaguely explained about the hotel, however later on we had a word with the general manager Mr. Moamen and he very patiently listened to us and assisted.
Ahmed at the breakfast buffet was helpful and always happy to assist us.

Had a fantastic week at the Steigenberger Alcazar amd would highly recommend it to everyone especially the all inclusive option. The resort is quite new and has fantastic facilities whether you are a sport enthusiast or just looking to relax. Personnel is always friendly and helpful and felt pampered throughout my stay. Finally the food at the 5 a la carte restaurants as well as the main one is simply outstanding both in terms of quality and variety (the pastry counter at breakfast is a sight to behold!)

Steigenberger Alcazar on of the best hotels i visited from my experience. I went to alot of hotels in different countries but really this hotel is magnificent. They treat you a royal treatment. This hotel is the best because of the management and the staff. They are very helpful and friendly. Starting from the reception, a special thanks to Ms. Omnia, the check-in was smooth and quickly , everything is organised and she was very helpful and friendly the whole stay. Thank you also to all the golf car drivers and staff like Reda ( sorry I can't remember all the names) but they are always around you and take you to anywhere you want inside the hotel. The food was amazing , fresh , tasty and there is alot of varieties. Big thanks to the chefs and the waiters, All of them are hard workers , helpful and around you fulfill all your needs before even you ask (thank you makin) . Thank you to Ms. Maya in the kids club , she is very friendly and the kids love her ❤️ especially the face painting 😊😅. She is always entertain the kids even with different playing ideas.Thank you to Omar in the animation team, he is very funny and active. And the Cuban couples in the animation team are amazing, I love their acrobatics show every night , they are very talented.
The sea is very nice for snorkeling, there is alot of colourful corals and fishes.
Offcourse I will go again to this magnificent hotel inshallah.

We just got back from a two week stay at Steigenberger Alcazar. This was our first time to SSH and it was great. The staff at the hotel are great! Super professional and courteous.
Special shout outs to our housekeeper - Hossan who was so kind and always with a smile on his face, the omelet chef at breakfast - Mohammad who made us our omelets every morning as soon as he saw us, the restaurant manager who was temporarily servicing Limoni while we were there but he told us his main restaurant was La Maison - he was very attentive and kind and the front desk person who helped resolved our room issue. These people made our stay extra special. Thank you!
The food - if there was a rating I would give the food 7/10. The issue with it was some things were delicious but other things were undercooked or overcooked. If we ordered a dish, the meat would be great but then we would get undercooked potatoes or pasta etc. some of the buffet dishes were also not very good taste wise and was not hot (temperature wise) always just lukewarm. However, if you had any issues the staff always went above and beyond to try and resolve the issue.
When we go back to SSH, we would definitely stay at this hotel again and experience the wonderful hospitality of the staff.
Also they took care of the property really well. Every morning we would see people cleaning constantly from the gardens to the buildings, fountains, pool areas etc.

Property is great top 3 in sharm no questions, rooms are clean, atmosphere in the hotel is relax and chill, receptionists are the worse part of the hotel, they think they are running the World Bank or something.
Food is great in sharm standards.
If your aim is beach swimming its not ideal. But i would definitely rebook this hotel for part of my trip in sharm if i ever came again

New property. Nicely done. Beautiful grounds, pools etc. Also rooms are comfortable. They need to work on quality of service and quality of the food and the overall menus. While everything looks good, the fact is it stops there. It looks good.
One thing that needs to be clarified is that while they do have a dive center, you cannot dive there and will be driven to their other center which is in a 3 star hotel. Frankly the dive center is over priced, and the service is below that of other centers in Sharm. So if ure gonna be driven to other locations, you might as well dive with other centers which will give u better service and better rates.

We loved the decor and the covered beach beds/huts on the beach. Service was great once you got the attention of someone - GREAT. The food in the Lebanese (Amoud) and Italian (Limoni) restaurants were outstanding. As vegans, we appreciated the separate vegetarian/vegan menu at Amoud - although the staff did not seem to know which dishes were truly vegan so we did the best we could. The beds were comfortable too.

I made the booking with an Expedia representative because, while I was travelling with my husband, his company was paying for his airfare. I needed to purchase only my airfare but needed the room to be for both of us. Expedia notified with property of this - I saw the notification on our reservation - BUT told me that the room rate would be the same for either one or both of us. So you can imagine my unpleasant surprise when we were told that we had to pay an extra US$174 for my husband to stay in the room with me.

To say that we were upset and disappointed would be an understatement. You would have thought that Expedia would know that there is a difference in room rate for one versus two people.

Dishonestly tried to give me a garden view while we had paid premium to get a sea views, took an hour of negotiation upon arrival to resolve. Food is terrible in all restaurants except for breakfast. Concierge messed up our diving reservations.. We only had one day for that. Lastly, the staff have a bad attitude and beg your for tips in the hotel!

We were amazed by the level of care at Zoherya restaurant; manager and staff are always smiling and welcoming, they even cooked our favorite desert for us that was not in the menu!

An absolute retreat! Gorgeous, VERY QUIET, right on the Red Sea, breath-taking views, and has all you’ll need on the resort. City locations aren’t far, and it’s quite safe. Multi-lingual, and the breakfast is unmatched! There are many services provided that aren’t listed, but ask and it is likely available! Lunch, room-service, and dinner were considerably affordable!

The most perfect and private place ever!

From start to end the experience was better than i could ever imagine! We we're collected from the hotel, dropped off at reception not having to touch out luggage. On arrival during check-in we we're offered amazing juices/cocktails! And we're dropped off via a buggy!

While other luxury hotels look great - they all look typical. This has to be the only hotel in sharm that is DIFFERENT and SPECIAL. The cultural Moroccan theme is something you wont find anywhere else!

We we're treated like royalty throughout the resort whether it be on the beach, poolside, spa, tennis court etc. Staff always wanted to help! Even when you did not need anything!

Staff would roam about offering fresh fruits, drinks, wet face towels, and mint spray to cool down the body while relaxing in the sun. The spa is always nice and quiet as they go by reservations only. Tennis courts and other facilities are spotless and look branch new. Food is amazing and at a very reasonable price. They offer free transport to local areas if you book it in in advance.

We even left out safe unlocked one day, and while items usually go missing at other resorts, their staff ensured he waited outside our room until we arrived back late to let us know what we had done and asked us to check our items before he left. We knew we we're we're in safe hands!

I could continue writing for hours about how happy we we're with the resort and the treatment we received. I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice hotel with big rooms. Excellent staff. Very effective, dedicated, hard working Manager, Mr. Sander Ackerman. You will see him walking around the hotel checking on the guests to make sure all are well taken care of.
The beach is rocky similar to most of the beaches in this area. However, there are three large pools and kids pools. Transportation from the hotel to Niema Bay and Soho is provided free by the hotel but has to be booked one day in advance. Good breakfast.
Again, complements to the Mr. Ackerman for a very well run hotel.
