Pier Blue Inn was close to funeral home, Catholic Church, and repast. Nice restaurants so close by! I’m glad I booked this place. Added a second night to avoid Friday night traffic back to our house in Rockland County NY.

Parking was ample and right outside my door! I attended a concert at the Kate and did not want to drive an hour home late that evening, so this was perfect for me. Much more reasonable than the other places in the area. Depends on what you’re looking for. Won’t hesitate to come back again!

The dark colored has the potential to mask so much !! The place seems to have good bones and an upgrade would go a long way to success.

The staff was wonderful. Despite having multiple issues that popped up entirely of my own error, the staff was amazingly polite and wonderful! They were incredibly helpful during my issues and were able to help ensure they were sorted.
There is ample parking in the lot surrounding the property, the room I was in had around 10 spaces within a few feet of the pathway.
I did see signs showing that the location was pet friendly, to include seeing a few patrons with dogs.
Overall the location was clean, seemed well put together, the rooms were delightful in their style and simplicity. Perfect for my travel needs.

Our room, #107, was in very poor condition. This is an old property in desperate need of renovation. The dampness and mold had my eyes watering. Every movement of the room above us could be felt and heard, and literally shook my bed in the night. The floor was so dirty it was sticky. The towels and tub had hair on them. Do not stay here.

It was a decent, reasonably-priced room. Room + lobby smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. Perhaps an air cleaner or deodorizer would help to clear the old, stale air odor.

The room was fine, although the a/c unit was a bit loud. I think it might be on its way out -- may need to be replaced. We stayed 2 nights. Our first night was a bit rough as other guests around us were a bit loud and there was a dog barking a lot. Car doors were slamming and people were very noisy going up and down the stairs to the upper floors. The stairs were close to our room. Our second night was a lot quieter and nicer. We would consider staying again if we need to come to that area.

We arrived and found that there were only outlets on one side of the bed. I had to go out and purchase an extension cord in order to plug in our CPAP machines. There was a white substance on the walls of the shower. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day early and they refused to refund the unused night. We’ve never been very satisfied with past stays and this clinched it. Given the number of fife and drum events that occur in the area, we will be sure and let others know about this.

Spacious, super clean, and functional suites. The staff is super diligent and friendly. The property is kept very well, there is an ample back yard with tables and benches, dog potty supplies. This area is super cozy and lit up at night. The bed and linens were SUPER nice and comfortable. There is very good lighting in the room all over and the A/C worked perfectly. We are so happy we decided to stay here.

This was my third stay at Pier Blue. Although it is an older property and could use a thorough update, I keep coming back for the location, the cleanliness and the reasonable rates. I must say, though, that there was one dirty hand towel on the shower curtain rod left from the previous guest. It was hidden by the shower curtain so I understand how it was overlooked. It was gross, though.

Although a bit dated check-in was good. The service desk agent was nice and greeted me by name. He offered a bottle of water for my dog and I.
We were given one room and when I went to the room ir was wide open. This made me feel a uncomfortable as it was getting dark and bugs. I asked the front desk for a different room. I got a new room right away.
The room itself was large and clean. It was a corner room. The first night was great. The second night I had a neighbor upstairs and you could hear everything. We were given one room and when I went to the room ir was wide open. This made me feel a uncomfortable as it was getting dark and bugs. I asked the front desk for a different room. I got a new room right away.

Overall, this was a very dated hotel. The old chairs in the lobby were very dirty. There was a dead bug on the floor in our room. There was a towel from a prior guest hanging on the back of the door. It felt like a dorm room. The sheets were permanently stained. We will not be staying there again. Very disappointed.

The hotel is lovely. By their own admission the owners have a notice saying excuse us whilst we renovate. The lodge was fine, we didn’t really notice it wanted much done. The car park was plenty, the room was spacious and comfy. Great views out the back. Convenient for the area, we really liked it.
