I got there as soon as I walked in. I noticed there was still trash in the trash from the people before me, and then I went to the bathroom and there was poop on the side of the toilet, and I looked in the shower and whoever was in there last hand left their hair all over it so it appeared that they just made the bed and left it and didn’t clean then to add to it in the middle of the night, a beeping was going off and didn’t stop until 8:30 in the morning called the front desk several times got no response went down there got no response. Needless to say I did not sleep and was very displeased. I did talk to the front desk person in the morning and they told me to go to the website that I made the purchase for the room and request a refund. She was very helpful in that respect.

This is a no frills hotel. Clean room, comfortable bed, very quite hotel and location. The most I counted were 15 cars in the parking lot and the hotel has way more than 15 rooms. The pictures on their website are definitely enhanced or they were taken many years ago. I'm not saying this is a bad place by any means. It's a good place if you just need a place to stay and are not looking for any amenities.
However, there is a fabulous breakfast and lunch place a minute down the road, Village Cafe. Amazing coffee, huge breakfast and lunch sandwiches. So so so good. Plus you're really close to a grocery store too. For the price of the room, how quite the hotel is and the location right off Rt 95, I would stay here again.

The hotel was very quiet, and the location was convenient for my visit. The room seemed clean but smelled musty. The heat/AC was dusty and triggered my allergies when I turned it on. The TV didn't work properly, the screen kept displaying multiple-colored lines. I didn't report it as the desk was empty when I left.

We made a short-notice stay at this hotel. Though it is an older facility, it was nicely furnished. The staff was polite and helpful when we needed them. The A/C was great. The place was incredibly quiet- we greatly appreciated that. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We had a room facing the pool- sadly it was in a terrible state, but we did get to watch the local turkeys and their babies wandering about.

If you're looking for a restful stay and aren't bothered by old structures, this is a great place!

I got to the hotel with my 1.5 year old son around 930 pm, and the first room they gave me was really dirty. Dust everywhere, (im talking thick white dust, like the room hadnt been used in years), non working equiptment (mini fridge to keep my sons milk cold), loose black specs of a mystery substance on the sheet under the comforter and yellow stains like the sheets had not been washed, dirty toilet, broken furniture, glass rims visible on the surfaces of the dressers and tables. Just overall, they do not have either the care or the staff to clean the rooms properly, and they seem to be scraping by with little effort. The pool in the back, which as a kid, was in working condition, has been long gone.

Staff had to be summoned to the desk every time. Friendly enough, but not overly interested in the job. I think there may have been only one employee.

My first room had a dirty bathroom, a case of large empty liquor bottles, and an adjoining door that did not lock. Everything in the room was unplugged, and it smelled like it might have been a smoking room back in 1982, when the carpet was new.

Any work done to update or repair the rooms has not been done professionally. Both rooms also had broken furniture.

Second room was also dirty, but I was so tired I didn't notice until the next morning. There were hairs and stains on the sheets in the bed I fortunately did not sleep in. I found dead insects between the mattresses that I hope were not bed bugs. I guess I'll know in a month or so if I brought anything home with me.

NO HOT WATER was the most egregious issue.

The land is beautiful, but landscaping needs attention.

This property is a very run down former Days Inn. I found stink bugs in the beds and also my bottom sheet had human skin, hair and other debris on it. The sheets had clearly not been changed. I had to sleep on top of the blanket! The refrigerator was not plugged in when we arrived so it was useless and our food spoiled. None of the lamps or microwave were plugged in either. The ice maching was broken and the desk attendant got some from a bag in the back. Since that was not sanitary it was useless. They claimed they were remodeling so there no breakfast. The breakfast room was in perfect condition so obviously they lied. The room was in extreme need of maintenance, especially the bathroom. At 830 am no one would come to the front desk after ringing the bell. Other guests had been trying as well. The only thing nice about the place was the landscaping out front.

I purchased a stay here mid week to get some much needed schoolwork done without the noise and bustle of my home. It was a couple of towns over in a very convenient location. Cute little hotel, very quiet and clean. Great for the price. The key card kept not working, however, staff fixed it immediately each time. I will be staying there again if i need another quiet getaway to work on school.

This place was horrible, I would never stay there again. The air conditioning didn’t work and the room was hot! The window opened, but there was no screen so I chose to keep it closed. The toilet wouldn’t flush. There was no stopper in the sink. There was the space for a mini refrigerator, but there wasn’t one in the space. There were also sweat stains on the pillow. Gross. We got in late and left early. There was no one at the desk upon leaving, just a box to put keys in.

I chose a budget hotel so that I could use my dollars for the more fun things. I was only a short jaunt to Mystic, Dubois beach, Hammonasset State Beach, Misquamicut State Beach, and Rocky neck. I drove the coast, ate at the delicious restaurants and then made it back to this little hotel The rooms were clean, the bedding was safe, the young man at the front desk answered all my requests with a cheerful personality. Check in and out was easy and quick. For a low price this place met expectations!

I paid for a king size room how ever I got a queen size room an the hotel only had like 8 guest the room was dusty ,dirty smelled moldy staff that was on young girl was not very friendly overstay was disgusting I had to stay because they refused to refund my money so I could go else where I will never stay here again and I booked on the phone on line they lied about how nice the hotel was never adjusted my bill for the smaller room and as advertised the fitness center was broke the pool was broken for repairs the washer was full of black water not did dryer work very poor conditions I would never recommend anyone to stay here everything is busted up ,moldy I am sick and disabled am appalled o do not receive an adjustment on my bill I will never use this site again and will make sure everyone knows what kind of business they do very unprofessional,unexceptable!! I didn't take pictures of the broken pool area or the gym was blocked of or the washer and dryer but can go back and get pictures if you'd like but I expect some kind of refund I used the bed and that was it nothing else and I am allergic to several types of mold and have asthma so it wasn't a good 2 night stay for me stayed in my car until it was time to sleep ridiculous and I have doctor's proof of all health issues the mold smell alone they should be shut down needs to many repairs that are being covered up and over looked but I was lied to when booking saying what a beautiful hotel this was and it was a new hotel

This hotel has alot of potential lived here my whole life never knew it was there. Its clean they are friendly but on expedia and online it lists that they have a pool and offer breakfast. Pool was empty and covered and not anywhere near working condition and there was no breakfast offered not even coffee and the ice machine was broken i i did nit see a fitness center?? Great for a place to sleep or a quick stop but nit for a long stay with family unless ammentities are in working order and there. This is a busy area and had i been traveling with my daughter who is a pool kid would have been dissappointing.

Refrigerator in the room was unplugged...same with the heat. They were technically closed, so there was no breakfast. Mirror in the bathroom had black circles all over it. I cut myself and needed a bandaid. Was in the lobby and had to call for a bandaid. The woman who answered the phone asked which room. When I said we were in the lobby checking out, she said, \"Oh, then I guess we don't have any.\" before she hung up. So I had to keep some toilet paper on my cut until I could get a bandaid somewhere else.

When I arrived there was not anyone to check me in, they simply left a note to call them and when I did I was told my key was on the desk waiting for me. Later that evening (around 7 pm) I tried to take a shower but had no hot water at all. As I was checking out I was told that if I had called them directly instead of using Expedia, I could have gotten a cheaper rate.

From the pictures you would think it was a decent place .
Once.i arrived what i first saw was what looked like an abandoned hotel the grounds were completely over grown. Inside smelled heavily of curry and room was dark dismal outdated damp musty . Upon pulling up I thought it was closed… the outside gives a very bad impression. I paid $272 dollars for 2 rooms that smelt horrible, thought there was a pool it’s caved in and it’s summer so that was a lie. One of the beds blankets had cigarette hole marks in them. Thank god I brought my own cleaning products for the toilets they were nasty we had 3 little girls with us and didn’t let them take their shoes off. Between our rooms we shared 1 roll of toilet paper the lamp shades were broken and cracked the dust in the back of head board was gross again I cleaned that myself I slept ok because I was tired. It was a waste of money the pictures make it look really nice but it’s not. The front desk was nice she was younger we asked her for towels and she gave them to us the towels that were left in the room were stained. They accommodated letting us change my room to have the joining rooms so the girls could be together but that’s really the only thing nice I could say about this hotel.

There were signs that the cleaning was lackluster - the cap to a disposable razor and a piece of plastic in the corner of the room and the bathroom looked a little dirty too. Kitchen still closed due to COVID and the pool may have been closed also. It smelled like pot by the front desk immediately after I checked in. I needed plastic ware (forks) and the front desk guy asked me to follow him to his room to get them. Nothing happened and he was very nice about it but it made me feel really uncomfortable.

The property is under construction THE POOL was not open I book for 4 people only 2 sets of towels. They offer a beach pass but if you lost the laminated paper pass they would have charged 250 dollar to replace it so I was not taking that risk I pay almost 200 dollars for a 59 dollar experience. 😡

This was a horrible experience. I picked this hotel despite its higher price point because it had a pool. Get there to find that the pool is closed and looks like it has been for years. When I complained I was offered a shrug and a “free beach pass” for the town with a threat of a $200 fee if I lost it. I was told they meant to change their ad but just haven’t yet. They refused to discount the room. The room was musty and had a horrible oder. The room’s fridge did not work and when we complained about that TWICE over the course of 2 hours we were ignored and argued with that it just needed more time since it was unplugged. We also had to request new batteries for the tv remote. The wallpaper in the bathroom was pealing. Horrible place. Makes me hesitant to ever use a travel website again or ever stay in a hotel that is not an established chain.

This hotel was a disaster!! The outside was highly unkempt! There was a very odd and unique smell in the lobby and the front desk lady appeared o check us in at 4pm in her pajamas. The pool in the pictures is closed and in need of major repairs. There is no continental breakfast as stated in description and I think the people who work there also like there.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they rent these rooms by the hour as the entire second floor smelled like weed and not sure what else.
The cleanliness of our room was questionable, and I felt like we were walking down the hall in the shining…
Our bathroom toilet had a weird brown sludge layer on the top of it, I don’t think it had been checked or cleaned in quite a while.
When I asked about breakfast the girl at the front said it was the Mystic property… but I couldn’t find any mystic properties and I’m from the area, only to have flown back for a wedding and this was the only hotel in the area with rooms, otherwise I would have been better off staying in my car.
I asked for a refund for our second night and even that seemed a little challenging for her to process-
Don’t stay here- run away.

Stayed for a weekend while attending an event at the casino. Check in was awkward - no one was at the desk and when staff finally arrived to check us in, they were coming from the pool. No breakfast or vending machines and the desk took only cash for drinks. Hotel was comfortable, quiet, and clean - but felt empty and abandoned.

We found the hotel not to be great, but not poor either. It didn’t offer too much in the way of amenities, and the bathroom had paint chipping off in some areas. But it is in a secluded, quiet area and is convenient to the highway, with a super cheap gas station right next to it. The room was comfortable enough for a night or two.

This place was amazing clean people were excellent and perfect loction 3 miles to the beach 11 miles to Mohegan fun place to bad the beach parking was 50 dollars
