Exterior door near my room had to be forced shut in order to lock. Breakfast didn't start until 7:00 and I had to be at work site at 7.

Stay in this hotel for multiple weeks due to a domestic violence situation. The staff was absolutely terrible. Young lady at the desk wanted to charge me $50 deposit to use a shovel to dig out my vehicle after there was little to none plowing time in a. Snowstorm. Even for the days to come after there was nothing done about the condition of the driveway parking lot or sidewalks. There were multiple people that fall in including myself trying to dig ourselves out. I don't mind they helping out and being a part of getting our own vehicles out, but the $50 deposit on a shovel is absolutely ridiculous. Mind you, there were no shovels or anything to use or any staff willing to help with stuck vehicles. Doors were snowed up to the windows stairs for not cleared. I would believe that would be consistent with a fire hazard. Staff was very unaccommodating for the price and amount of time that we stayed there. I will not go back.

Room was absolutely neglected. Front desk staff was very unaccommodating, rude and condescending. There was a snowstorm during my visit. The parking lot was never plowed properly nor salted, sanded etc. I had fallen twice during the duration that I was trying to dig my car out, I asked the front desk staff if we could use their shovels. They told me that there would be a $50 deposit because they didn't want us to break them. I was absolutely appalled by that, considering the fact that I believe it would have been their job to take care of the property maintenance in that situation. Doors and stairways were not shoveled on the outside of the building, leaving us dropped with 3 ft of snow in front of the doors at points in time during the storm. I was mocked by the young lady that works the front desk multiple times for an incident that had occurred while I was there. I was fleeing a domestic violence situation, I had notified the staff of that and it was completely disregarded and laughed about in front of my face by the staff. I will never stay at this establishment again nor will I ever recommend it. In extreme disappointment for a local establishment.

I booked two rooms for a weekend getaway and was disappointed at the conditions, cleanliness and safety of this hotel. Both room floors were sticky. Chipped paint everywhere, especially in the bathrooms. Mold growth in bathroom walls. Ceiling leaking with a trash bin collecting water right next to my door. To enter through the side doors of the hotels were unlocked that anyone could get in the building. On our first night stay someone was arguing in a room shortly after the fire alarm went off at around 12:50 am, we all had to exit the hotel. Apparently a guest broke a sensor off the wall! The sensor remained on the floor for the whole day. Also forgot to mention that my first night shower was unpleasant due to the hot water temp was like warm! I do not recommend anyone to stay at this location. I do recommend the Indian restaurant at this location the food was delicious! A little pricey but delicious!

I booked the Ramada by Wyndham before reading the reviews as it was a cheap option for a work conference I was attending.

The hotel is in fine condition but my experience was ruined by the poor staff and worse management.

On my first day on the property, we were all recovering from a massive snowstorm that left two feet of snow on site. When I checked in at 3:30 p.m. from a long day of travel, I was informed by front desk staff that they would be plowing the parking lot and I'd need to move my car soon.

Because of this, I decided to forgo a planned nap prior to dinner and powered through my day. The plow never came and the staff could not provide me an update on when it would.

I left the hotel at 6:30 p.m. It was still unplowed. I returned at 10:30 p.m. It was still unplowed.

I asked the staff, again, if the plows would be coming because I was going to be going to bed. They said they did not know, so I went to sleep.

I was awoken out of a dead sleep at 12:30 a.m. to move my car by an absolutely rude staff member who couldn't even pretend to care about waking me up after midnight.

Completely unacceptable behavior and completely asinine customer relations.

I'll never stay at this otherwise adequate hotel again.

First they called me that morning to say the room I booked wasnt available and I would have to take 2 doubles instead of a king. When we arrived she wanted to charge me more for the 2 doubles-I told her no-I booked this months in advance-she said well we are booked. She finally found a king room available but wanted to charge me $25 to check in a half hour early-NO WAY. So we watied to check in. THe room was disgusting-not clean-leftover food filled the fridge and the bethroom floor was sticky! I complained and all they did was say sorry. Never will stay here again!

I was very disappointed with my stay at this Ramada. The hotel had a strong unpleasant smell as soon as we arrived, and the room did not feel clean. The bed sheets were damaged and looked burned, which was unacceptable.

The pool was also very underwhelming and nothing like what is shown online. Overall, the pictures on Expedia are misleading — the hotel is much smaller in person and feels more like a cheap motel.

Honestly, Motel 6 would be a better option than this location. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Our room was in the rear of the hotel on the 2nd floor with no elevator access. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was clean however the sink countertop was coming off the wall, the toilet was wobbly and there was a mound of snow in the room in front of the balcony door. We put towels to absorb the snow but it never melted due to the draft from the opening in the door. It was in the negative degrees outside. No access to walk to the front of the hotel where the pool and breakfast was located, through the hotel due to construction. It was a place to sleep for the night. Happy to say we only needed a room for one night.

The whole place is out dated. Pool was down stair and very dirty. No towels on pool area. All the hall ways were very cold we never used the pool. Was told when we booked there was a hot tub in pool area- there is but it is not usable. Whole place smelled like pot. Went to the desk at 8am asked for cleaned towels as we used the towels we had for our 3 night stay 2 days already, was told to come back at 10:15am for towels, we were leaving for the day so just got two hand towels and made do with that. She refused to give me more than 2. Then went back that night once we got back from a long day and asked for towels so I could shower.(husband showered in am, myself in pm) was told no. I was in complete shock. I also ask to have the snow removed from the parking areas and sidewalks as we had a group of 3 different family’s in different rooms, one of these room had a disabled person in it, was told they would talk to the manager, snow was never removed. We had someone fall going over it thankfully they were not hurt. When I went down the last time for towels was told manager was out of town till Tuesday, not sure who they told about the snow. Breakfast was bagels and waffles, Nothing more. Our tub in our room filled up while taking a shower because something was wrong with the drain, we went to front desk and asked to have maintenance look at it, almost 2 hours later they showed up, we had dinner plans so asked for him to leave and fix after we checked out. Won’t let type more.

The property was experiencing some construction issues which were not properly secured and we ended up walking right through the area. The elevator didn't work and there was no way for a person with a disability to get to the food or the second floor. The staff didn't even inform us about the issues. The bathroom needed updating as well. Just disappointed in the property, however, the staff was so polite and nice.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The room was freezing, the pillows were awful, and the AC made a loud noise every 10 minutes all night, making it impossible to sleep. There was a cockroach in our room the furst night went to the desk to inform them they told me maintance was going come to take a look, but no one came to our room The directions to get our room was confusing, no signs to where anything was. The pool and the breakfast area was in the basement and the breakfast was cold, no waffle maker but there was batter & syrup. I read reviews about a smell and there was a smell in the hallway. Not a smell of being dirty just a smell. Room was clean but very outdated. I felt like I was staying in a motel 6 that truckers stayed at on a long haul across the Midwest We stayed here to be close to the sub base. It was about 100 a night cheaper than the hotels on the other side of the bridge. Spend the extra 100.00

We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping didn’t come to the room the second day. I love having my bed made and it was a surprise to come back to room after being out all day and the bed not made or garbage emptied.

The breakfast was in the basement down a long hallway. Eggs, sausage, breads and cereal. It was included . We went to dunkin instead of having it day two. Not a selling point to staying there.

Bed was ok. Sheets felt old and cheap. Room could have been colder for me. Room was big. It was clean. Didn’t feel dirty.

We were on the first floor and the people on the floor above us must have had children because from 9-10 pm all we heard was running up and down the hallway upstairs.

The hotel is smoke free. This was the main reason I chose this over the others close to 12

If you are on a real budget then I would stay here. But if you have an extra 100 a night to spend then do that instead and stay over the bridge closer to Mystic.

I definitely will not be staying here again. I would not recommend any of the budget hotels close to the sub base.

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan didn’t work. I didn’t even want to go into the bathroom. The elevator was broken. There was a weird smell throughout the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Black mold is a very dangerous thing. We asked to be transferred to a different room because of the mold and was told no other rooms was available.

The hotel overall was okay but certainly dated. It was very difficult to navigate as there were no signs to point you in the right direction for breakfast or the pool. In trying to search for breakfast, we ended up going outside and walking to the front of the building to ask for assistance. There was an off smell in the room, almost like mildew; however, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were some dead bugs in the pool area. The pool itself was nice but the area around it didn't look well maintained. On our check out morning, housekeeping knocked on the door at 10:45am trying to get in. We had the privacy marker on the door and checkout wasn't until 11am. The hotel was okay but I would not stay here again.

The entire building and room had a strong mildew smell. Additionally, the only ice maker on the property is and has been out of service for what appears to be a long time based on the dust that was present on and in the tray portion of the machine. The person on duty said he was aware but did nothing to address the problem. Also, the television had only one working channel that did not freeze and have a blocky pixelated scrambled look to it. The bathroom had rust and mold on the light and wall fixtures. Glad I only had to stay one night, otherwise I would have left and found a different place to stay. I'd avoid this property. Definitely not worth the price that they charge.

The elevator was broke. The ice machine was broke. The TV remote was broke. The shower was dangerously hot when i turned it and it scalded me very badly. Most states have Laws regarding that for safety. Also no room service is performed. Sink was clogged. Wouldn't bring kids here. Staff/Reception wasn't very friendly either but maybe just didn't have a good grasp of English. The breakfast included was on par with what most hotels have. Basics. The rooms need an upgrade. Did seem clean enough though. Not on par with what i expect from Ramada.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff friendly. It clearly needs some maintenance work--the \"balcony\" outside was sort of falling off the wall, for instance, but it did not look as if it was designed to be actually used as a balcony. The location is quite convenient (right off I-95), and there are places to eat nearby. Pet friendly as well.

Good place for an overnight stay on a long trip, wnich is what it was for us, but by no means for a 'resort-like' stay. We'd go again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel like I need to. We picked this hotel as a last resort after a mix up with our other hotel. Hotel was run down. The floor in our room was sticky. There were ants in our room. There were cigarette burns on the blanket in our room. It was supposed to be a smoke free place but our room definitely smelt like smoke. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the desk people never mentioned it to us at check in. With the condition of the room, we probably wouldn’t have eaten there anyways.

So in all, we would not stay here again.

We were not satisfied with our stay. While we appreciate that the hotel is dog-friendly, the facilities inside and outside were not well kept. We had a broken tile in our bathroom, and hallway smelled of smoke. We were not told that housekeeping services were by request only and must be made 24 hours in advance. The hotel key rarely worked, and we could hear noises from the hallway and the room(s) above us throughout the night. We will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Property smells like stale cigarettes, the rooms are very old, there is no elevator, have to walk to the basement to get breakfast or go to the pool only area that seems to be updated is the lobby bedding has burn holes in them, stains on carpets, stairs and chairs in rooms

Found bugs in the bed, was bitten. Not bedbugs but some other slithering bug. Got locked out after midnight and had to get another key. I do not recommend this hotel.

Overall hotel was old and rundown, dirty and smelly. The musty smell in the room was overwhelming. Completely gross. Worst hotel experience I ever had. Would have immediately left had it not been very late with a tired kid.

Don't always believe other reviews.

After reading many reviews after booking our stay, I was very optimistic. While the hotel needs updating, our room was clean and quiet. The jetted tub worked, but was very, very loud. I was afraid to use it too long as I may be disturbing other guests. All and all, we would stay there again.

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was great-lots of options available for either a quick bite or a sit down meal. The pool area is small, but clean and well maintained. If we come back, I would stay here again :)

Room did not compare to photograph online. Room needs a great deal of updating. Restaurant was Indian food only, no other choices. Entry keys were difficult to work getting into the building where your room was. Room was small and dark.

A lot of things were out of service at this hotel. No ice. No elevator. The fridge in my room was broken and leaking water. When I checked in towels were on the floor to soak up the water. It was dirty and smelly inside. Reception was not very helpful when I complained. Maintenance was very helpful the next day and replaced it. Overall it wasn’t very clean and had. Strange smell. But it was affordably priced. My kids enjoyed the pool.

The only thing that was good was the jetted tub. Breakfast was okay, by the time I got to the conference room in the basement to get breakfast, all the food was cool/cold. The bagels were great. The room was overall clean but the bed was not comfortable, it felt like a cheap springy bed and the pillows did not give ANY neck support. The pool water looked clean but the pool room was very outdated and the hot tub does not work. The ice machine is out of service and if want to refill a water bottle, you have to travel to the basement to find the ONLY water fountain in the hotel. (Not even cold drinking water). The interior of the hotel was rough looking, as you walk the halls, you’ll notice holes in the walls and ceiling panels broken, there’s a ton of dead bugs in the windowsills in the stairwells and the overall smell is weird, not smoke but doesn’t smell the cleanest.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, the cooling was comfortable. The location was easy to find and perfect for what I wanted to do. The price was decent. I would stay here again.
