The room itself was okay, but there were several issues during our stay. The shower pressure was very poor, and there was nowhere to hang towels after use, which was inconvenient. Check-in was scheduled for 4 PM, but our room was not ready, and we had to wait about 45 minutes. The lobby was crowded with many other guests also waiting to check in. It felt like the hotel was unprepared for whatever event was happening in the area, and overall the experience came across as unorganized and unprofessional.

We showed up just before four they told us our room wasn’t ready not cleaned needed 15 to 20 minutes we gave them our number sat in the parking lot for a half an hour came back in asked where we were on the list was told to wait in the lobby. We got our room a little over an hour after 4 o’clock, which messed up the whole night as for we were going to a concert.

I will never stay at this hotel again.

Upon check-in, I was informed that I had reserved a one-queen room, even though I am certain I paid for a king room. The confirmation only stated “standard room,” so I let it go. We were then “upgraded” to a room with two queen beds.

Unfortunately, the issues continued once we entered the room. When I attempted to use the bathroom, I discovered the toilet was clogged. I contacted the front desk and was handed a plunger, with the expectation that I would resolve the issue myself rather than having staff address it.

Later, when we tried to watch TV, a message indicated that a user agreement had not been accepted. I again contacted the front desk and was told there was no maintenance staff available to assist. At that point, we gave up on trying to resolve the issue and went to bed.

The next morning, we found dirty water sitting in the bathtub despite not having used the shower at all.

Overall, the lack of basic room readiness and support from staff made for a very disappointing stay.

Room wasn’t that clean had a very strong odor like wet moldy. I had to request new blankets, pool was also closed which we were looking forward to swimming which was one of the key points for choosing this hotel. Some other guests had mentioned that hotel houses homeless guests so that could be why pool was closed. I was not happy with stay. Especially since there was Another Hotel in close proximity that had pool hot tub and free breakfast with shuttle to casino. I Was very disappointed in stay but it was my partners birthday so we decided to stay instead of dealing with the hassle of a refund and rebooking because we were running late for an event at the casino. I hope there can be some resolution for unhappy stay

The entrance into the hotel smelled like pot.
The pool was closed due to a pipe that broke.
The bar closed at 5pm so we never got to have a cocktail there.
The bed was lumpy and the furniture in the room was worn.
The only good thing was it was close to Mohegan sun and the price I paid was just ok.
Renovations are overdue.
The women at the front desk were polite.

Something else: We were getting ready to leave after a nice stay.
My sister im law couldn’t find her car keys. We are taking the suitcases, a car apart and everything and check the room. Some of the young men working there went up and took off her room apart looking and also went out by my sister-in-law’s car. They took all our suitcases into this other room and they said just take everything out and you know, we’ll leave the door open and you can see if it may be in there. Thanks the Lord it was in the bottom of my sister‘s suitcase. The keys were in her sweater and they must’ve fell out. So a big thanks to the young men who help us and the clerk at the desk also🦋❤️

The room appeared to be very vlean up I n walking in. Of course the furniture is very out dated,well to be expected. But we notice a few unclean ateas in bathroom like the grout around tub needs to be reworked. / the handycap grab bar is nice to have but also neefs to be cleaned around the grommets. Pretty much everything else was clean. Very nice location, front lobby/the personell were extra friendly and professional,due to bad weather and snow we arrived earlier and they made every effort to get us next available so we could relax given our ride..veru much appreciated!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's a pic of the biohazards we found in our room on the first night. Used cotton swabs, tissues, and a used COVID test. They move us after we brought it to their attention and gave us a free breakfast coupon for next day. Unfortunately we couldn't use them as breakfast was over by 8:30 that day (most people don't get up at the crack of dawn when on vacation?). To add insult to injury I dropped my cell and it broke. After telling me they'd mail it so I could salvage the card and photos, I got a link from a third party mailing services looking for $65. Would have taken ten minutes to stick a broken phone in a manilla envelope for a few bucks. Last time ever in a Holiday Inn.

The staff was very polite, professional and helpful. The hotel was really outdated. Had to go to the 4th floor for ice and the whole floor smelled vile. Basically like straight feces. I’m glad i was not on that floor because i would have definitely asked to move. Breakfast was delicious but it was freezing in the restaurant area because the heat was broken. So i think if the building got proper updates it would have been a 5 star hotel. It was close to Mohegan and provided a shuttle which was extremely convenient. The shuttle driver was also polite and professional.

The location is excellent, close to the casino, and the hotel offers a shuttle to Mohegan Sun, which is very convenient. What truly exceeded my expectations, however, was the service. The two young men at the front desk and the two ladies (unfortunately I can’t remember their names) working the bar and breakfast area were all exceptionally kind and welcoming.

Room is very dated and mattress was like sleeping on cardboard boxes. The morning of our departure we visited the restaurant area to grab coffee from the coffee station. Employee standing there... after I got a cup, placed my sugar in and prepared to pump coffee into it says. \"there's no coffee\" ... no mention of this before I get the cup ready, no indication that it's being refilled. just \"there's no coffee\", turns around and walks into the dining room. ZERO effort.

I was very let down by my recent stay at this Holiday Inn. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong odor in the hallway that smelled like a mix of cat litter and seafood. It was unpleasant and set the tone for the rest of the stay.
The bathroom didn’t even have a fan, so there was no way to clear steam from the shower or take care of any bathroom odors. For a major hotel chain, this felt like a basic feature that should have been standard.
What upset me the most was the lack of respect for privacy. A couple of hours before checkout, the housekeeper knocked, and because we were still sleeping and didn’t answer fast enough, she opened the door and came into the room to “check if it was still occupied.” There is a checkout time for a reason—entering guests’ rooms before that time, especially without a response, is unacceptable.
On top of all that, I was quoted a price online that included taxes, but when I arrived, I was charged a couple hundred dollars extra for the three rooms I booked. The lack of transparency was incredibly frustrating.
Overall, this experience was disappointing from start to finish, and I will not be returning to a Holiday Inn for future travels

Staff again where very nice and kind. No problems with any of them even the drivers! Breakfast was a really good price and good food. The rooms and such where clean but in major need of updates and replacements. The sheets where clean but had stains on some of them.. The elevators need to be fixed, they are still scary to get in. Am I willing to stay here again? Yes, the staff, the shuttle to and from Mohegan, and the place was clean despite needing major upgrades and replacement furniture.

This hotel is disgusting. It is filthy, the rooms are not maintained. One of the two elevators is inoperable. The restaurant is completely inadequate. The gym does not have disinfecting wipes. In addition, my tire was slashed in the parking lot. Luxury cars were targeted with out of state plates. That is a $2,000 expense as a result of the lacknof security or security cameras

Not enough parking....
2nd night there, the hotel had an event, a party of some type. Anyway, there was zero parking in the main parking lot so we were told to go park around the backside of the bldg. It was PITCH BLACK, NO LIGHTING with some sketchy dudes hanging out by the edge of the lot. We locked up and literally ran thru the lot to get back around by the front. They should've had a parking attendant directing PARTY GUESTS to the back lot where there is an actual entrance to the banquet room, leaving the main lot to the paying hotel guests..... but hey that's just me.
