As a non-smoker, my only complaint was the smell of cigarette smoke walking through the common areas (such as the casinos), and especially the very strong weed smell coming from the parking garage into the hotel. Other than that, everything was clean, well-kept, and well run.

Also we found alot of the staff were just plain rude and unhelpful. One person actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked where a restaurant was, like I was a nuisance. Also some seemed to not know much. If it’s your first time there I hope you find a nice staff person to help you.
We will go back because I give what I get and a few found that out! Definitely a lot to do and keep you busy and enough varied food.

The room was very clean and the woman who checked us in was outstanding. My only complaint is that if a room is available for early check-in, why does there need to be a charge? I was charged $67 to check in but then was told that if I checked in at two, it would be $23 but also that a room would not be guaranteed at that time. I just think it’s a little bit ridiculous to have to pay an additional $67 to check into a room that was already vacant.

But, even worse and even more of a complaint is with a Do Not Disturb tag on the door handle the cleaning service knocked on the door at 8:30am and woke us up!!

first, they didnt have my confirmed room, then the room they did give us had blood stains on the sheets, no trash bags in the trash baskets. they put us in another room and the water faucets were horribly corroded, no daily clean up or room dress down. i ran out of toilet paper, requested it and had to wait 5hrs to get more. i can go on and on.

We came to see Tom Segura and we were so pleasantly surprised by the accommodations! The front desk staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. A beautiful property with an abundance of activities. Shopping, restaurants, and game floor were topnotch. Look forward to visiting again.

Staff support made this trip awful. Sandy in Fox Casino did not show up for assistance when my machine locked up. I was told this is an ongoing staffing issue. The night shift leaves early and the day shift has not arrived. I was stuck in casino waiting to cash out. No one was available. Then when Sandy finally showed up she offered no sympathy for situation. Terrible customer service. I was delayed and left my wife wondering what happened to me. This situation ruined a good trip.

I had to change rooms 3 times. This was my Birthday weekend. Front desk clerk said he would give me an upgrade to a newly renovated room on a higher floor. I made it super clear that I needed two beds. Get to the room and it’s 1 king bed. Went down and they gave me an older room on the lower level. I spoke to the manger at this point and she said they would put me on a higher floor suite for the inconvenience. Guess what, she didn’t and I gave up at that point.

I've stayed at foxwoods, probably 15-20 times in my 46 years on Earth. It has changed a lot in the last 8 years. I stayed on a Monday and Tuesday and it was very uncrowded, which would seem like a good thing...but it was actually kind of eerie. I'm wondering if they are in trouble financially, quite honestly. Which is amazing when you really think about it. THE ROOM AT FOX TOWER HAD NO MICROWAVE. That is totally unacceptable. The water pressure in the beautiful walk-in shower, was weak. I didn't understand that either. The betting was from the 1970s, and when we had the room turned down, it was almost if they just reshuffled the bed and didn't replace any of the bedding or pillows or pillowcases. This would be acceptable in a lower level hotel situation, but Fox Tower is, for all intents and purposes, much more high-end. My advice to anyone going to foxwoods would be to stay at the Grand Pequot or Great cedar or a nearby hotel and catch an Uber. Fox Tower is not worth the price of admission, on the hotel front. The toilet will flush an entire human being down it, so be careful your butt's not too close to the water lol. Which again goes back to, \"...how in the World is the water pressure in the shower not as good as the toilet?\" THEY HAVE NO AVAILABLE LAUNDRY OR LAUNDRY SERVICE, and that is mind-boggling. Overall grade, 82 out of 100.

I had a very bad experience at this property. As an Expedia VIP member, I was expecting a complimentary room upgrade, but when I asked, I was told I would need to pay extra. The room itself was also disappointing—the toilet was leaking, and even though we requested housekeeping service, no one ever came. Our bed was never made. Overall, it was a very poor experience.
