I would give it zero stars but that wasn't an option. To start with the sign to the hotel is not lit up, that should have been our 1st clue. The lobby looks like a tornado hit a yard sale. The bed squeaked so loud my husband and I woke each other up every time we rolled over. The pillows were so flat that might have been envelopes. The shower did have hot water but the curtain had holes in it and there was no cover on the bathroom light/fan. When we travel we are really just looking for a place to shower and sleep, I would never sleep here again.

There definitely was a musty odor. Carpets were dirty wiped up water spill, towel was black. A good carpet clean would do wonders for improvement. Bathtub clean but stained, and there was hair from other people, and a dirty washcloth on top of shower. We asked for fridge, was not on when got there.There was not enough toilet paper, we asked for more. When they delivered it they turned the fridge off, ruining food. Beds clean but felt like cardboard boxes with sheets, comforter had old cigarette burns. Could not leave windows open there was a whining from truck generators all night. We stayed for 4 nights for music festival, camping was sold out, so we were barely there. My bags smelled musty when I got home. The manager was nice. I agree with previous reviews, good place to crash for night, price was right. Would stay again under same circumstances.

I won’t let my dog stay in this place. When we got to our room, there was urine and toilet paper in toilet. Tub was brown, couldn’t tell if couch was hold because so dirty, sheet had crumbs in it, throw pillow had white spots and stains all over it. We left to go to meet our friends and we didn’t go back. We paid to stay at another hotel. We stopped to a store find the street, I asked if they knew anything about it. He said truckers won’t even stay there.
I can’t believe Expedia had this hotel on their website .

No amenities. Not even an ice machine. Toilet, under sink and shower all leaked. Door lock was broken. No refrigerator or microwave. No hairdryer. Place was unkempt and dirty. Faucet on sick had no hot water pressure. The manager did move us to another room, but it wasn't much better. I can't believe Expedia would actually offer this hotel on it's site. Don't they inspect the properties before they try to book them? The manager did everything she could to make us more comfortable but it was too awful to do much. We were extremely overcharged for our stay. I would like a refund.

We arrived and had to phone the manager to check in. Our room has an odor of mildew. There was no toilet paper, fortunately I brought one with me. The bathroom was full of rust along the perimeter because there was no fan to remove it. The shower could not be regulated and it was either scalding or cold. Nothing says ambiance like a microwave situated between the beds. If I wanted better reviews I would start with a total update. We were unfortunately unable to find lodging on a holiday weekend but definitely would have checked out had we found one. We won't be back.

SHOCKING!! I have never in my life stayed at a more disgusting motel. The toilet was filthy, the tub was stained and streaked orange. The sheets were dirty. There was a hole in the chair and the curtains were hanging off on one side. The final straw that had us packing up to leave was a bug crawling near our bags. We have pictures to prove it.

The hotel itself is in a nice, quiet area. The man at the front desk was really friendly. The room itself was just ok. There was soaps but no shampoos that you usually find in other hotels. There was also no coffee pot which I thought was odd. The shower was a little hard to get to work at first as well.

Place was a dump. None of the amenities listed were there. No wifi, TV didn't even work. No service. Only time we saw anyone was check in. Had to ring bell to get him. Later, when trying to get him for additional roll of toilet paper (there was only one half used roll on arrival), he didn't answer the bell. No one cleaned the room after first day.. Seems like proprietor is only one there and is just running it into the ground until he can sell the land.

I stayed here out of desperation so I didn't expect much. It was way worse than I expected. The room was not so clean. The shower would trickle water out of the dirty shower head and at times would randomly be burning hot. The mattresses are extremely old. The box springs and mattresses were sagging badly. You could feel every spring on the bed. Its not like this was a $70 hotel it cost $150 for this. I would have rather slept in the car. All that being said the location was convenient and the staff was really cool. They were accommodating and friendly. I think they were in room 103. 5 stars to them, I know this mess isn't their fault.

This has got to be the worst place I have ever stayed in. First of all, it is currently booking online at 67 dollars a night. You charged me 154 for a one night stay, The property was strewn with trash all over the place. The hedges outside had a dirty toilet bowl brush and dirty paper plates strewn on top. The room had a god awful smell in it. It smelt moldy. I get sick thinking about it. There was no place to hang up my clothes. I had to use the corner of the bureau to hang my clothing on. The bedding had multiple holes and rips in it. When I was checking in the manager said the water might be brown but it is ok. Huh! Then the tv didn’t work so I had get the manager. He blame the people that stay there for breaking everything.There was no ice maker or common area where it’s listed to be. There was no coffee maker in the room although it’s listed. Only one night lamp worked. The other one didn’t have a socket to plug into. The fridge in the room had dirt all around the rubber seals. It wasn’t plugged in although there was a socket . You can’t make this stuff up. The only good thing was it did have heat. Beside that, there is nothing nice about this entire motel. You should not be listing dirty dirty places like for your clients and then charge them double the current booking price being charged online. I honestly feel that I was deceived by your advertisement of this place and you need to make this right.

Very nice man at front desk. It’s a very old place but just off 195 which made it convenient. The bed was a soft one. We couldn’t make shower work in the morning, and was going to let them know but couldn’t get hold of anyone. We were in a hurry so didn’t have a shower. The best thing he did was gave us a recommendation for dinner and it was spit on! It was the Mystic Pizza 3 miles up the road, don’t be put off by the name. It was a fantastic very reasonably priced Italian restaurant.

It was okay. Exactly as we pictured it to be - older property, the non-smoking room was definitely a smoking room that someone attempted to spray febreeze in to hide that cigarette smell. It was functional and fine for one night, but that's about it. Only the door handle locked, not the deadbolt, and the chain looked old. Very convenient to the highway, but the AC was loud enough to drown out the noise, despite not being great at cooling on max cold.

The long and short of it, is as follows…the place is bargain basement - at best: There was no attendant when we arrived at 8:30pm to check in. I Didn’t think much of it then, but when we checked out there was no one to be found yet again. In fact, we had to figure out that we were supposed to drop the key in an unsecured mailbox, such that anyone could simply grab the key and gain access to the room.

Upon checking in, we felt compelled to check the corners of the mattress for bedbugs, luckily there were none. But the fact that we felt it necessary to check in the first place says it all.

The last guest apparently left her night thing/neglige on the back of the bathroom door and the “cleaner” failed to notice it.

If this place was like $60/night I might be a bit more understanding…and I also would have passed. But since it was more expensive than a Motel 6 I expected, at very least, the same level of experience.

Listen, I’m not someone who has to stay at a Hilton or
The Waldorf Towers, but if you’re going to charge competitive rates YOU HAVE TO BE COMPETATIVE! This is the type of place you could expect an hourly rate…perhaps there is. I just wish I had a review to consider before booking.

As a business owner myself it hurts to leave this review, but honestly guys…..either lower the rates until you improve or charge what the place is worth. Good luck.

Many items ,when checking in the office smelled and should have known them, the room stunk like smoke, went and bought a can of air freshner and almost used the whole thing in 2 days, the pillows were awful, the bathroom ceiling looked like it had a leak and cracked, the shower head you get 1/2 the water the rest goes on your feet, the sink the water splashes all over the place, only 1 outlet that you can use if you crawl on the floor and go under the table, no fresh towels the next day or maid service, cigarette butts all over the place and people smoking when it is listed as non smoking place, out our back window by the air conditioner it looked like laundry and rug right by it. There are many that live there and items all over the parking lot and early this morning was a fight next to us and were to leave and they were still there when we left after trying to get back to sleep. No clock in the room , only the over head light, and the tv was so low my husband could not even hear it even with his hearing aids.
Most disgusting place we have ever stayed and should be ashamed for charging us for staying there with all the falsified information on this site. We will never use this chain again, I would rather sleep in a tent or our vehicle.
This business for this company should be ashamed of themselves

Budget Inn apprars to have little to no budget!

The Budget Inn is a 'no go' stay. They do have appropriate measures for check-in/out for Covid. The hotel/motel however is beyond outdated. Massive furniture that is nonfunctional fills what could be open space making the room nicer. The furniture is not appealing, at all. The bed was clean and comfortable but short on pillows. 4 standard pillows instead of 2 oversized would be much more functional/comfortable. The room was stocked with a very small, single, roll of toilet paper, with no back-up. I assume the facility uses well water as the shower and toilet have heavy mineral stains that make them look dirty (but are clean). This makes it look disgusting. It is a convenient location in an out of the way location... there is a small truck stop/store with restaurants inside next door. We arrived late in tge eve and had no issues checking in by ringing the doorbell. Checkout is by just dropping the key in an exterior box as the stay was prepaid. This location is in need, very strongly, of a major remodel.

It looked like the bates motel from Psycho. When i went to check in, the office was cluttered with all sorts of crap. The room itself appeared clean, but the entire place is outdated and needs to be torn down and built up from scatch. There was no smoke detector in the room, just some wires hanging down from a pre existing one. I had an issue with the heat the second night. Apparently the breaker tripped and needed to be reset. I guess i should have gone into the office, but i just attributed to the fact that the place was a dump. I couldn't wait to check out to move on to my next destination. I guess I got what I paid for or maybe less. I would never stay at this place again or at any budget motel. I assume they are all like this.

First: The office was junky and not clean. The bedroom window was infested with flying insects, the room/bathroom needs to be cleaned, repainted and new furniture. The room also had a terrible odor. The property on the outside was just unkempt. The picture is deceiving.

One of the most poorly-maintained hotels I've visited. Rusty, musty, at least not dusty. There's old equipment and junk tucked everywhere, including under our back window and the office, which you can't even enter--it's like dealing with a teller. \"Services\" are limited to placing requested new towels on an armchair, but not emptying wastebaskets or making beds, vacuuming or coffee (even for purchase).

Bizarre room arrangement like large microwave on nightstand, table lamp on top of that, and a small refrigerator (which turned out to freeze everything) on the desk, but no chair to sit at the desk.

On the plus side, lots of spare plugs for phone chargers, etc., it was available and budget-priced, and the parking lot had lots of room. Quiet visitors when we were there.

Hotel was in disrepair. Lots of discarded junk all around including a vehicle with a flat tire that looked like it had been sitting there for months. It was parked right in front of the office where you check in. Room windows did not lock and the smell was horrible... like old men smoking cigars.
Scary for women...somewhat isolated, off the highway. Would not recommend to any females traveling alone or families with small children. I’ll pay the extra money next time .....learned my lesson the hard way on this one!!!!

Closest room to RI beaches we could find on July 1st weekend when everything was book. Clean comfortable room at an affordable price. I’ll drive 18 minutes to save $150.

Would not stay again. And should of got money back

This hotel had abandoned vehicles all over. Empty beer cans stored outside, the bathroom smelled like mold. The manager wasn’t there to check us in. He had a worker take my cash and no receipt given. Very unprofessional. Plug in bath room didn’t work. Fridge didn’t work because nob was broken. I really feel I was overcharged for the lack of comfort there.

The heat was not on so we had to leave for a couple of hours while it warmed up the toilet would not flush and was not fixed until the next day run down with debris scattered about the property. I thought this was a Budget Inn meaning part of the chain . It is NOT would never recommend this to anyone.

You get (some of) what you pay for.

The king room #205 was adequate and clean enough. The Direct TV system wasn't great - got some cable channels, but not your basic networks. Moldy ceiling stain above the toilet. The place seems to be on the verge of repairs - there was lumber and other supplies (or maybe it was just junk) blocking the walkway from the right side on the ground floor to the office. We had requested extra towels, but those were never delivered. You have to ring a doorbell to get someone to staff the office, so we didn't bother. If you're looking for cheap, that's what you'll get.

The only good was is close to the casino

I didn't like it @ the room got smell i no like and same thing with the water from the faucet and shower i would mever go back to the hotel.!

Garbage strewn about property, tv did not work, water was volcano hot or colder as ice water. Stale nasty smell in room, should not be on Expedia if I hadn't pain ahead of time never would have stayed there

5pm on Friday evening, arrived to noone home. Sign in the window said\"back in 20 minutes\" no one showed. A truck driver pulled in and called the number on his confirmation, they got him to bang on 105's door, no response. Maintenance heard the noise and opened the front desk area, he gave us keys. I found asking for non-smoking does not work, toilet paper was non existing, no phone to call the desk, cold and cold running water in the shower which was ok since there was no face clothes and two towels. Checkout was smooth the sign was still in the window at 9 am, no one home ,dropped the key into an unlocked mailbox.
