The property was in the heart of town, walking distance to anything and everything. Extremely convenient in that regard. The rooms and pool facilities were very, very clean. It’s a dated property that’s seen some upgrades, that’s the best way I can describe it. The A/C works like a damn, the beds and pillows are alright, and there’s free water to fill your bottles conveniently on every floor. The wifi is spotty at best. Overall satisfied with our stay.

It was a very good hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms were very clean. air-conditioning worked very good. No problem parking all the people were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if they had a little bar on the roof of the hotel have a cold beer or drink of some kind after you got back from one of your adventures in the city, but there’s lots of places very close to get something to eat or drink

This is a simple 2 star hotel, but might be the best hotel that San Ignacio has to offer. Great rooftop pool. Free covered parking. Great staff. Great location to excursion offices. Staff worked very hard to get me a shuttle from San Ignacio to BZE. Shopping and restaurants are just outside the front door.

The hotel room was basic but also very clean. Hotel staff were helpful and provided us with a knife and plate for fruits that we had purchased. They have a water dispenser in the lobby for refills. The location is very convenient. It's right on the main pedestrian walkway in town and within a 5 minute walk to most restaurants, tour companies and the farmer's market. It has a nice rooftop area where you can relax and listen to the birds in the morning. It also has a parking lot. Highly recommended because it is a great value for the price.

It was nice being able to refill water bottles with their purified water and always being able to make tea. We recommend!

Our flight was delayed by AA over a staffing or mechanical issue so we only got to stay one night but it was an awesome night! The staff, the old classic look of the hotel, the bed was just fine. The roof-top overlooks Burns Ave. which is the walking district. I wish we could have spent an evening having a cocktail and people watching. I will be back next time we visit Belize.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of San Ignacio. There are many restaurants, vendors, grocery stores, markets, etc within a 1-5 min walk from the property. The rooftop pool and shaded lounging areas, are a great place to chill and beat the heat. I’d recommend this location to other budget minded travellers. Thank you!

Our room didn’t have any toilet paper so we had to ask the front desk for some. The hot water didn’t work very well so we had to take some cold/lukewarm showers. The water went down very slowly in the shower so we had to wait a while before the next person showered. The bathroom had a really strong sewer like smell so we had to keep the door closed at all times. If we needed anything the front desk was really helpful.

We enjoyed our stay there. In a good way, super simple but sufficient. Centrally located so one min walk go to most tours. The room is clean and spacious and staffs are friendly and helpful. They provided banana and coffee for breakfast. Good hot shower. No Kleenex in the room. Their rooftop is a big plus for us with a 10 yo, especially the pool. It is not big but big enough for us to have some fun, has a nice view of the area and provides some reclining seatings. We felt refreshing after our tours to Maya ruins.

The first room had a problem with the plumbing, apparently a common problem at this hotel. The staff gave us a \"better\" larger room. The service was adequate. Let's be honest - this is really mostly a backpacker hotel. Nothing wrong with that - but expect that it's kind of clean and some things work and some things may not work or work well.

This location suited our needs for the single night we spent in San Ignacio. The AC, fan, and TV were fully functional. One negative issue was the shower curtain is too short and there was water on the floor after showering.

Didn't have a car on this trip but they have a nice secure garage. Room was clean and comfortable. I'm spoiled by normally having a coffee maker in the room in the USA. They did have two coffe pots in the lobby but you had to get there early to get some. Property could use some updates.

this is a very basic hotel. It's right in the center of town, so really convenient for doing any of the local tours from. It's supposedly on the main/busy tourist street of Burns Ave. But it was really a rather quiet area with not much happening on any of the days we were there. The room was clean but was rather rundown, horrible lighting, poorly built shower that let all the water escape and soak the floor....I didn't want to spend any extra time around the hotel than I needed to. They're doing renos to the rooms on the ground floor of this place, so maybe things will be more modern and fresh looking in the future.

Booked 3 rooms arrived and pool was closed for renovations. No notice that pool would be closed so tried to cancel. Hotel staff claimed we would get a refund and now hotel claiming they cannot give refund as Expedia has not contacted them and Expedia claims hotel won’t answer them. Total scam. We never stayed but rooms appear to be run down.

The good news is that the hotel is in an awesome location. Exit the front door and you are in a pedestrian only street with good food close at hand. The farmers’ market is a short walk. A must on Saturdays.
The bad news. The pool can only be entered or exited on a ladder with round rungs. In your bare feet, it is extremely painful. The pool’s tiles are literally falling apart. There is a six inch pile of tiles on the pool’s left.
Our room had no nightstands. We had to “borrow” a couple of chairs to act as nightstands.

Overall, the owners have not paid to maintain the property. Too bad. It could be a great hotel.

I had a really pleasant experience overall. Ended up staying 4 nights. The only thing that was strange was the last night I had very loud pounding on my room door at 1:30 am. I was actually frightened and after the 3rd time I opened the door to find a lady with a staff member who said I wasn’t the right person. She was banging on all of the doors on my floor. To me I can’t believe that was acceptable at that hour, makes me wonder about security. Despite that, I had a nice stay and the hotel staff were sweet and welcoming.

The hotel is in downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient for me as I didn’t rent a car. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The tour company I used, Maya Walk tours, was literally a one minute walk away. Nice clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. Small pool to take a dip in on the hot days. No elevator so if you have mobility issues you might keep that in mind. Perfect for my stay.
