Check-in wasn’t friendly, and though they tried to help with the room not being ready, it lacked warmth. The shower door didn’t slide, making temperature control uncomfortable and risky. The room door didn’t close fully, letting mosquitoes in. The pool was freezing. Towel service was inconvenient—no towels by the pool, and I had to go with staff to swap them. Breakfast was good but overpriced for Nicaragua. Honestly, they need to step up their guest care. With improvements, it could be far better.

I just had 2 issues. There was a huge spider in my room. I noticed that the door sweep didn’t cover well. It was a terrible experience (part of nature), but I took it out with a paper. The second problem was thar the fire alarm system had a strong light blinking constantly that took me time to be able to sleep. I had to cover my head under the blankets.

We were placed in rooms across construction. They did not apologize or offer to move us to another room. I made three room reservations. One of which was for my brother, his wife and my niece. All rooms were to have breakfast included. They told me at the resort that my nieces breakfast was not included that I needed to place her as an adult in the room for the breakfast to be included. And they blame expedia for this. The mosquitos at night were terrible they are not spraying or anything. Marvin at the front desk is terrible to deal with. They did not properly active one of the room keys when I went over the front desk to tell him. He continued to do what he was doing completely ignored me did not apologize and another girl fixed the issue. He really needs to learn manners and customer service.

We were place in rooms across construction. I reserved three rooms including one for my brother, his wife and my niece. When at the hotel they tell me that the kids breakfast was not included that I had to place her as an adult in the room. I have never seen that before and the are telling me it is expedias fault not theirs. The front desk person Marvin is terrible to deal with not apologetic for anything. The noise of construction and the dust goes into our room. They did not even offer to switch us rooms or offer to pay for the kids meal for the inconvinience. At might the mosquitos are brutal. They are not taking care of spraying to make sure there are no mosquitos. Overall a terrifble experience in this room. I have been coming to this hotel for the past 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had in this hotel.

This place was a nice hotel and when I booked it I was sure i booked it with breakfast as all of the other 6 hotels I stayed in I had but anyway the said I didn’t so no problem I paid for the breakfast for 2 days for 2 was $75 the problem I had was the way it was handled manager hid behind the staff and sent had staff do the dirty work also the charged my card $12.98 extra even though I tipped in cash. When booking make sure to screenshot what you are getting as big hotels like this are predatory there are much better hotels than this in Nicaragua that are properly managed this is my first negative experience and review for 10 days of travel in Nicaragua

I called ahead of time for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and the taxi did not show up. We had to find a taxi on our own and later the room we got felt like opening an old closet, dirty and with flies very unpleasant. When we rolled down the blinds flies came out. I don’t know about the hotel’s standard but for 122 dollars for one night it’s not worth it.

Very disappointed with our stay. We literally killed more than twenty mosquitos in our room in a matter of minutes. The staff said to use the room towels for the pool and to call for service once we needed cleaned ones. When we called they only provided two towels for four people and only brought more after I brought the wet ones to the lobby. Last but not least, there were roaches in the bathroom!

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me. I arrived at 4:00 pm, and by 7:00 pm the air conditioning in my room still had not cooled down. I tried using the room phone, but it was not working. I went to the front desk to report the issue and request a different room, but they said they “had to” send a technician first before changing my room.
The technician came to the room, checked the AC remote, said everything was fine, and mentioned he would go to the roof to change the filter and then return to check on it. He never came back. By 11:00 pm, the room was unbearably hot.
I went back to the front desk again and was finally given a different room. They advised they did not understand how I was not changed from the room since the hotel was pretty much empty. I stayed in Nicaragua for five days, and having working air conditioning is a must for me. The room itself was fine, and the food was okay. Aside from the initial front desk experience, the rest of the service was good.

I made my reservation for three people (2 adults one child) and I paid for breakfast when I did my reservation. When I got to the hotel I was told that the breakfast was only for two adults, had my daughter being another adult then she will be covered, but we had to pay extra for her breakfast. That made no sense an adult eats more than a child.
