About Cinelandia
Cinelandia is one of new developments of Buenas Hotels. Its name is a tribute to the area that housed, between the years 1931 and 1960, the major movie theaters of the cultural circuit in São Paulo.
The hotel occupies the same area of the renowned Cine Brodway, which was demolished to make way for the current building, designed by renowned architect Ramos de Azevedo, creator of several postcards in the capital.
Believing in the potential of recovery and in that nostalgic ambience of appreciation for the the downtown area history, the building was completely renovated in 2010, keeping its original classical façade, to offer its guests all the comfort, quality and convenience – for the fairest prices practiced in the area.
With 84 apartments, Cinelandia has its privileged location as one of its key features, based just a short walk away from avenues Ipiranga and São João, the shopping hub of 25 de Março, the Monastery of St. Benedict and the traditional Bar Brahma and Gallery of Rock.

Recomendo :)
Douglas
I rated honestly - I came here for the low price and got exactly what I expected. But - it was clean, great water pressure in the shower. The area is pretty sketchy, especially at night, lots of homeless and “drogas”. But if you’re on a tight budget it fits the bill perfectly. Wi- fi in the room supported streaming but was not always consistent
Cinthia

Hotel located downtown São Paulo on the budget and comfortable enough

I would go again
Overall pleasant stay. Pros: good AC, good location, refrigerator, comfortable and clean. Cons: Internet was spotty, very tiny TV with only a few channels, breakfast not so good but it is free/included.
Gustavo
Average stay, clean room but looks outdated
Stephen
I stay here because of its convenient location relative to where I need to do business. An excellent find, though, as not expensive and has all the basic services. This was my second visit this year. Staff are always helpful.
Abraham
Nice looking place and the breakfast is good.

Robert
Sketchy area. Tent city. Dirty streets. Gunshots heard at night.empty buildings covered in graffiti. Neighborhood in decline.

Safer than most
I extended my trip in this hotel with my girlfriend after staying a couple of nights alone, I felt it was a good idea to have her come to that one compared to others in the area as the safety in the neighborhood really was an issue, this one took care of most of my needs.
Arthur
Great service
I got there around 1 in the afternoon, they were cleaning the rooms so all the doors were open. My room was on the seventh floor. As I made my way to my room I got curious and checked out another room with the door open and noticed I liked the view of that one more, it felt private compared to the one I was in. I called the guy downstairs and asked to immediately switch, he asked why and I explained that I wanted to have a more open feeling and that window gave me that. He then switched me to the sixth floor that had a balcony! Zero extra charge, and the room was larger. Fantastic accommodation. 10/10
ALDEMIR
great location
Great location, downtown SP. Near all bars and clubs

As an international guest, I had expected that someone in the hotel is able to speak in English. That was not the case at all. In fact, when I was checking in, there was a problem with my payment, and it was really frustrating for both of us not being able to communicate properly. I relied on google translate if I wanted to ask about something, and that should be pretty much a yes/no question. The hotel did not have any map or booklet that explains the attraction points in the city. I thought that is fairly typical in any hotel, I don't know. maybe not in Brazil.
Breakfast is Ok, nothing too exciting though. Internet was good. The facility is a bit old (or it looks old), and my room was very small. It mostly felt like a private hostel room. The hotel is located in one of the busiest part of the city. For a foreigner, it might feel a little rough in the first glance, but I got comfortable going out after a couple of days. Probably not the best place to stay out late though.

Voltaria a me hospedar lá com certeza.
Georgia

confirmar a minha reserva e simplesmente fui IGNORADO!!!
é a PIOR POSSÍVEL!!!
Não o RECOMENDO a novos CLIENTES!!!
PÉSSIMA EXPERIÊNCIA!!!
E ainda paguei CARO!!!

Vale a pena ir a trabalho.
Ivania
Já me hospedei em outros hotéis na região e o Cinelândia me surpreendeu. Quarto confortável, ar condicionado funcionando e limpo. Gostei muito.
VANIUS
Tudo dentro do oferecido!!
Euclides
Michele

Ótima localização, perto do comércio.

Carla
Gostei
Marcella
O hotel me surpreendeu positivamente.

EUGENIO
A limpeza do quarto.
