The hotel is a little island in an area where you are not going to feel safe. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the train station (airport express) which was 200-300 meters.

Don’t expect anything extra service-wise.
Since my plane was landing very early I asked if I can do an early check in. The person at the hotel ( I talked in person because I was staying there and I would return again in few days again) said no problem but they will charge me half day stay. It was fine with me. When I arrived early the morning of check in I was told the room isn’t ready and perhaps I wait because cleaning staff starts to work at 7am. After waiting two hours, in which during that time I was completely ignored (not even offered a glass of water), I decided it was ridiculous to wait a so I decided to leave the hotel and go spend the day outside, even though I was tired and I had a carry-on. When I mentioned my situation at check-in at 2pm people at the hotel couldn’t care less and I barely got “I am sorry, sir.” From my experience don’t expect anything extra service-wise from this hotel. People working here are enept and could less to be helpful. Sadly people at this hotel doesn’t get that hotel is about providing service to its customers.

When I arrived by cab to Luz Plaza São Paulo, I was worried. The area looked unsafe and it was night. But by sunrise, I was reassured and went on to enjoy a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything is excellent. The staff are professional, the breakfast (and dinner!) were delicious, the spa was such a treat, and the location proved to be excellent for metro access and Bom Retiro shopping. Definitely my favorite hotel in SP!

Que grata surpresa. Reservei esse hotel porque os hotéis de Sampa estavam lotados, show de rock e fórmula 1. Como paulista fui desconfiado da região, pensei, não deve ser coisa boa, quando cheguei que surpresa. Hotel novo, quarto amplo, roupa de cama sedosa, banheiro grande, chuveiro forte e a região estava densamente policiada. Ao lado da Zé Paulino, acabei comprando um terno novo bom e barato. Cereja do bolo: perto do metrô Luz.

Os quartos são confortáveis e limpos! O atendimento na recepção e excelente, o café da manhã é maravilhoso! A minha reclamação no entanto é quanto ao ar condicionado do quarto 907 fiquei no mesmo quarto por duas vezes e o ar condicionado da unidade não funciona, foi preciso abrirmos a janela para refrescar o quarto o que prejudicou a qualidade do nosso sono devido ao barulho vindo da rua.

Gostaria de pedir somente a possibilidade em casa de check-out mais cedo, antes do início do café da manhã, ser fornecido algum lanche já pré feito e embalado ao hóspede uma vez que já havia sido paga a estadia com café da manhã e não causaria nenhum problema ao hotel e deixaria o hóspede feliz e interessado em retornar a se hospedar no hotel mais vezes.
