Stunning views from a very clean well kept apartment. Everything needed for the kitchen was supplied utensil and appliance wise.

We only stayed a short time (4days), we would definitely stay again for a much longer time. So close to many amenities, shopping, restaurants and local attractions

This apartment was excellent. Very spacious and clean, and beds were super comfortable. The pool was kept immaculate and was a great size with lounges available. Location was great, with shops nearby and surf club/beach directly across the road. Would definitely stay here again.

A little difficulty checking in as our phones were not connecting to the internet, therefore we did not receive the checkin information - the site emails you on the morning you plan to arrive with unit # and code to get access to the unit keys. There is no front desk and it took a while to locate someone that could help us retrieve the key.
we did not have Australian phones to receive texts.
Location is nice, a walk across the road to the beach. Unit contained all the necessities for a comfortable stay including washer/drier.

Room was nice and clean, amenities were good but sugar ants were a pest. Had to throw out a few items, the rest had to be either in the fridge or in a zip lock bag. Only 1 aircon but so long as you left the doors open or was ok, luckily it wasn't too hot.

The view from the apartment I stayed in was amazing. Superior premim apartment. Kitchen was equipped, had most things for a short stay. The ensuit was ok for me as i am a small person. 50kg and 5ft nothing, but if you were much bigger it would be pokey for you.....ok for a couple of nights. The washing and dryer were excellent. The building is right across from the skate park and these lights stay on till late most nights. I loved the apartment i was in and i didn't want to leave.

The Mandolin is situated directly opposite the Alexandra Headland Surf club. We had a front facing apartment and there is a lot of road noise, especially in the evening. Boys and their loud toys! The Surf club would start cleaning around 5am and it did not matter if it was rubbish removal or beer keg change over, it was noisy with no thought for visitors sleeping. Overall it was great as the Mandolin has great facilities for kids and adults. Pools were clean but the spa could do with a scum skim every so often. Will we stay there again? Not really sure.

We had such a wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful — they really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The ocean views were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves each morning. The resort itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Our toddler especially loved the kids’ pool — it was the perfect size and so well designed for little ones. The whole family had such a relaxing and enjoyable time, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and fun coastal getaway! 🌊💙

Our room offered premium water front views from the 11th floor. The unit had everything we required even a coffee machine, it was recently updated so it was fresh, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and we were super convenient to everything close by, and the parking was a bonus! The resort facilities were amazing and the heated pool was a favorite. The property location is catch 22, a very quick walk to the beach but right across from the surf club that gets rowdy on Fri and Sat nights, wasn't the best for our kiddos who are a bit more sensitive to noise.
Our recliner lounge didnt recline and would connect so the 3 seater kept sepeating.

We definately drew the the short straw. Oven didn't work and kitchen full of ants, certainly not ideal. The view was amazing though.

The external amenity's were good, nice pools (i really enjoyed the fact there was a bit of access for disability), warm pool and clean, the tennis court was nice and the fact that we didnt need to pay for parking. The location was brilliant but it did mean at night on a Saturday it was VERY loud. Motorcycles, sirens etc. The view was stunning. Inside however our linen has stains, some blankets had \"certain\" stains which wasn't great. The apartment was dated but we are not fancy people so didnt bother us too much. I would prob. only stay again for the location. Being that i stayed in the more expensive unit i was supprised it didnt quite look like the photos. However the staff were extremely helpful and really nice to chat with. Bit of money could go to repairing / updating the rooms.

This apartment building was so close to the beach. The facilities managers were amazing and friendly. The residents that live in the building were so friendly. Could’ve asked for a better place to stay in a destination that I’ve never been before. Sunshine Coast is, in my opinion, 10 times better than Gold Coast it’s stunning.

Paid for a superior ocean view room, the room was by no means superior or updated. Old furniture and the ensuite bathroom was un-usable due to its faul smell. Only good thing was the pool area (specifically toddler pool for our 2yo) and the balcony view was lovely.

This was such a fantastic place to stay with my young family. The on-site amenities were great - especially the heated pools and putt putt - and it was just a hop, skip and a jump away from the beach. Bonus points for being close to cafes and restaurants, too. The highs and the lows of our stay

The best things about this place are the location, the high rise great views if one is lucky to get a top floor unit, the heated pool, jacuzzi and the well maintained grounds and facilities.

The worst were the condition of the bedroom - very old bed and mattress, cupboards, and old worn out smelly dusty carpet, both long overdue for replacement; as well the lack of proper cleaning all over - dirty windows, inside cupboards, bathrooms, dry eggs yolk on plates, hairs on smelly couches etc. Unit did not smell or look fresh and clean upon entry which created quite unpleasant impression.

Good location is about it for the positives…!! Building is old and really needs a refresh. Nearly $400 a night far too much for this place… Everything was clean for most of our 4 night stay. The garage had items scattered all throughout and looked a bit like a storage ground for old unwanted items…!! Our unit was tidy enough and had modern fittings. I chatted to other people staying and they said their units looked like they had not been changed since built. Really old fittings etc.. Ammenities were ok… Pool was good though needed a good clean around the edges. Communal areas were tidy. Rear fence near the putt putt had fallen down and there were old rusty gates tied onto the fence to replace it..?? All in all, around 3 star at best for a 4 star price. Plenty of nice places in the same area.. We will not be returning and are disappointed considering the usual standards of accommodation we are used to for the money…

Fantastic stay, great facilities. We had a 2 bed appt on7th floor. Kitchen was a bit tired, but adequate with good pots/pans, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Rest of apartment was well furnished with great views.beds and linen were spotless & comfortable. A few areas of detail were missed in cleaning but overall pretty clean & good.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Any issues were dealt with immediately and willingly.
Excellent tennis court with booking system and floodlights. Best to Take your own tennis balls, there are rackets to borrow if you need them. Beautiful heated pool, hot tub and sauna.great pool for toddlers too. Mini golf well kept. We didn’t use games room but it looked good with table tennis, air hockey, pool table, ( need to pay for some).
The road is a bit noisy but we didn’t really notice it as the noise blurs in with the sound of the waves!
Location across from surf club great for swimming in sea. Local surfboard hire $30 for 4 hours.

Our 4 day booking through Hotel.com caused problems because we had to change rooms, the booking system doesn't show individual rooms available. We were told by the manager we would be changing rooms on the second day. We waited around for our new room only to be told by the manager he made a mistake and it was the 3rd day we were changing rooms. this more or less wasted the second day and then the 3rd morning. Although the manager accepted he'd made a mistake the way he spoke to us was very disappointing. When we suggested he leave us where we were so we weren't inconvenienced any further and put the people we were vacating for in the unit we were changing to for one night, he refused and his comments were very degrading, coming across that they were more important because they were staying 7 days. He did offer us for an extra night free but we couldn't accept it for work commitments on the Monday. He then said we could have a 2pm check out Sunday. When we changed rooms on the Saturday he reversed this saying we had to be out by 10am Sunday. This was a weekend away for my wife's birthday only for her to end up in tears with the way we were spoken to and treated, like we were second class. Very disappointed even with $25 voucher he gave us.

The unit we were in was partially renovated but comfortable enough and met our needs well. Cleanliness was fair - filthy under the beds - haven't been vacuumed in a very long time with lots of debris. Dishwasher wasn't working but we didn't need it during our short stay. The Mandolin, although a little bit older was a delightful place to stay and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The two bedroom apartment was well laid out and quite spacious, with everything a family could need. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment and the laundry did its job amicably.
While the multiple ceiling fans and single air con unit kept the whole apartment cool and refreshing.

The views from the balcony were amazing, across to the beach and down the length of the coast. Speaking of the beach, it was just a quick jaunt across the road and past the lifesaving club. Food was well catered for with a number of different options within easy walking distance. Although, to be fair, being peak season, the long delays at most of the eateries were a bit of a problem.

The only problems we encountered were the cleanliness of our particular apartment, with a few niggling things like dirty utensils etc in the kitchen cupboard and a few other minor oversights. The other, more impacting problem was the wifi, it was in a state of upheaval at the time of our stay and we were only able to log on a few times (after many, many attempts) for up to about 6 minutes before being booted. I would imagine those to be a one off type deal and they didn't really detract from the overall pleasantness of the apartment, or the location.

The staff were all very friendly and eager to help and communication was great.
