The room is fabulous and the staff is superb! We had some issues when we tried to stay here the first time but when I complained they responded very quickly and then gave us a complimentary stay and refund! They didn’t have to do that but I’m so impressed that they did. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Air conditioning efficient and quiet.
Laundry had everything you’d want.

Outdated not worth high price. Dep housing complex

Whilst it was a last minute getaway at peak period, at 4$$+ a night, it is seriously not worth the $$, all but one quilt cover was stained one had old blood stain, kitchen light bulb blown, no AC, couches stained / collapsed in the centre, leaves and debris in one of the pools, moldy mop, 1 toilet roll between 6people, still have to pay for WIFI,
reception lady was very friendly the complex / unit is outdated and definitely not worth 4$$+ per night possibly making up for several discounted dept housing units. I wish I had checked another site first as I could have got a better property at a cheaper rate.

Great location. Nice pool. Property is dated. Needs some work. Handle fell off the saucepan, power point switch broken. Exhaust fan in ensuite didn’t work. Coffee table very wobbly. Only one AC in the living area for a 3 bedroom unit. Main bedroom faced the western sun and got very hot.

What an amazing apartment. Check
in was easy. The hotel manager was really nice and had some great advice. The view was beautiful and we were only one block away from the beach. You could walk to the Main Street and the shops. Will definitely go back.

Garage was broken, dryer did not work and we were not offered any extra drying racks or anything to help us (we were travelling with small children). Room was unclean, light fittings didn’t work, dryer actually tripped the fuse to the whole unit and had been reported by 2 previous tenants and was not seen or fixed by an electrician. Manager was never at reception to speak to about concerns and get help. Tried to get a refund and go somewhere else but they wouldn’t release the refund and we were stuck. A total rip off and would never recommend.

The apartment was clean and tidy with some modern features. The downside was having no curtains throughout the living area, so privacy was limited. The bed in the master room was comfortable but didn't feel like it was very sturdy & would have been great if there was a TV in there! Overall not bad for a short stay :)

This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. There are views of the water, a comfortable bed and modern kitchen. It was only let down by some deficiencies in supplies. Only doonas are supplied, which are too warm for Queensland, A light blanket or two would make a big difference to comfort. The kitchen did not supply any dishwashing liquid or laundry powder sachets nor a spare garbage bag. Staff helpful and friendly. It was spacious with a large balcony. The rooftop area was also spacious and had good views, plenty of seating and a BBQ. It was a bit noisy

No lift available to get to the apartments- this is not mentioned anywhere when booking.
Air conditioning only in the main lounge room and not in the bedrooms.
Very limited untencials in the kitchen- no oven mits/gloves, no sharp knifes.

The photos you see are obviously when it was first opened. The rooms are run down the carpets are filthy the lounge suite was filthy. Stains on the bedding. The place needs a full overhaul. Wouldn’t stay or recommend it to anyone

However a couple of small issues.
Garage was small - had to let passengers out before parking as passenger door could not be opened once car was parked in the garage (mid size SUV).
No toilet paper - no spare rolls in the unit.

Was not told that we had 5 flights of steps to climb to get to apartment, if we had been told would have asked for lower ground apartment. Apartment was not cleaned properly from last tenants, orange pips all over floors, cashews under couches, washing machine has not been moved for long time very thick dust & broken shells beside it, beds have not been moved to clean, there was lots of dust & hair under them.

The price for a weekend stay was excellent. A reasonable walk to the cafes and shops on the esplanade at Mooloolaba and could also walk to Alexandra Heads for a surf.

Disappointed that we had no bin in the apartment, after reception had informed us that they think it had been thrown out by previous guest. No light bulb in bedside light.

Beds were comfortable. Good size bedrooms, comfortable for 6 guests.

Room was not too fancy but exactly what a young family needs and very spacious, perfect for our 2yo to stretch out and play. Great location only a 2min drive to underwater world, a 5min walk to esplanade and there is a coles, bottle shop, bakery right around the corner. Very friendly when we checked in. The room was ready early which was great.
Only downside the pool isnt very inviting but theres a gorgeous beach down the road so not a huge deal. Thanks for a great stay will be recommending and staying again.

The place is tired and the staff seem tired and fed up with dealing with people. The room sleeps 6 - 3 bedrooms - yet there isn't room for 6 people to sit. There are bossy signs everywhere about what you will have to pay if you do anything wrong or leave anything - they even charge $15 to take out the rubbish!!?? The only reason I chose it was that there were 3 bedrooms for the 6 of us but I would have been better choosing somewhere more professional and welcoming with a sofa bed in the living room. Price was really high for what you got

With a name Bayview and harbour view appartments I was expecting some sort of view but there was none, the room was very sandy like it had not been cleaned. The pool was full of chlorine when the kids went swimming it burnt their eyes.

Unfortunately there was a busted pipe before we arrived and the damage was not able to be replaced because of the rental turn around. When we arrived we noticed water throughout the kitchen cupboards. The water heater had exploded sometime between guests. The staff were very quick to get it replace and washed all of the items in the cupboards. The pool area was very nice. The rooms are not ground level so one must carry cases up stairs to reach the room. An individual parking garage was very handy for the rental car and to ensure secure parking. The dishwasher would not release the soap and had to be run serveral times.

Only an overnight stay but good value with an upgrade to a spacious unit complete with rooftop terrace. The apartments are situated a little bit back from beach/coast but can still see ocean and handy enough to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, etc. The complex has adjoining apartment blocks - Bayviews Apartments and Harbourview Apartment - it would seem that some of the apartments have been refurbished; however all represent good value.

Prime Location and great apartment

Quickly we saw our day out turning into an overnight stay. We had decided to spend the night and needed to find room for 7 people (3 adults and 4 children). Found Bayview and booked online after reception was closed.

Contacted staff and had no problem getting the keys and checking in after hours, and was delighted with the size and comfort of the room.

We had no issues with cleaningness apart for small items that could easily gotten missed during cleaning due to the location.

We would definitely stay again

Disappointing all round, Very noisy outside surrounds and inside especially during all hours of the night.. No breeze equates to using the noisy fans and restless/sleepless nights as it is not air-conditioned.. Fridge was on the blink and ruined all our food. Drinking glasses were chipped. Mattresses need replacing.

Got a 3 Bed room apartment with plenty of room. Was on level 3 but there is no lift so that was hard for the unfit.

A/C in the lounge only so and fans in the room. So it will be hot in the rooms to go to sleep in during summer.

Cons: lights not working in lounge, laundry or bedside table in main bedroom.
Foxtel wouldn't work and we have it at home so we know how it operates. Reverse cycle in lounge couldn't be set to warm which would have been good as it dropped down to under 10 deg. For a 3 bedroom unit it only has a dining setting for 4 and we had 4 adults and 2 teens. The other strange thing was the bathroom had no towel rails or hooks and we used 6 towels so where do they expect you to hang them? Also the shower has no soap tray or dish so we had to put the soap on the window sill so sorry to the cleaners for the mess. There seemed to be little parking on site so you may have to take your chances on the street with your car.

If they have fixed these simple things when we are next there we will stay there but we will be checking everything before we check in next time.

This is a clean comfortable apartment with a small view of the ocean, which I imagine will disappear when the highrise apartment on the corner of Meta St and the Esplanade is completed. It is a reasonable walk to the main area of Mooloolaba for a reasonably fit person. The fan in the living area couldn't operate because the remote that worked it was missing and was not replaced during the week that we were there.Fortunately the weather wasn't unbearably hot while we were there, otherwise it could have been unpleasantly warm. Acceptable as a 3star apartment if everything is in working order. It is starting to look a little tired though.

Arrived late after a long day driving to find that the apartment was not air conditioned. Suffered through 7 days of unbearable heat unless I sat on the balcony. I didn't think that Sunshine Coast apartments wouldn't have air conditioning - in future it's the first feature I'll add to search filters.

Lovely 2 bed apartment with great view of sea (15) amenities great, open plan lounge/dining/kitchen. Private access to rooftop a bonus. Only suggestion would be extra attention to cleanliness of apartment -build up of dust apparent and couch apholstery needed cleaning. All in all, affordable, spacious and great location.

We only stayed one night as hubby was only home for the weekend, but the room was a perfect size for our little family. We found it very close to everything, shops, cafes, fish markets, etc. The hotel manager was lovely, she was worried on what my opinion on the hotel would be like, as she forgot to tell me that the carpet has a couple of stains, but it was clean. We did see the stains (all of 2 small ones), but didn't think twice about it, as I assumed it was wear and tear as many families before us would have stayed in the room. God Bless her little cotton socks. :)

We stayed in a 3 bedroom appartment and were happy with room facilities, size and cleanliness. Hallway stairs need some sort of airflow as were a bit smelly, but rooms were fantastic and great value. Location was perfect for walking to esplanade too.
