The location was great, the room was spacious with a pool view. The staff were so lovely! There was an issue though with Wi-Fi on arrival; 48 hours later, the problem was remedied. Trying to regulate the hot water, this didn’t get fixed before I left and I didn’t get offered a change of room, as was suggested when I got my Gambian friend to contact them locally. I would definitely have accepted if I was! Scorching hot water and getting my foot burnt was not good but otherwise, had a really nice & peaceful, stay.😁

Staff very helpful and couldnt be more cheerful. Everyone worked very hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the hotel is excellent for accessing the beach and restaurants and the garden area woth the pool is very relaxing.

This is my second time staying at this resort and I feel that standards have dropped and repairs are not dealt with quickly and clients are being put in faulty rooms. I was moved twice before getting a decent room. I think next time I will choose a different resort.

I stayed for two days only to experience the rooms at the hotel. I was placed in a room with no cleaning before arrival. No towels no toilet paper and a broken toilet seat. My plan was to stay 7 days but I changed my mind and went to another hotel. The front desk clerk girl acted like I was bother to her for asking of my demands for a clean room.

I like there was security gate. The cook did outstanding on the food. The cleaner alway provides extra', they alway accommodate. The staff at desk was protest of they guest piracy. My room had a view of lots natural, on last a saw a monkey, lors birds, and butterfly.

We ended up staying there nearly 3 weeks and in that time it was comforting to know that staff was concerned for you if you were away from your routine. This was particularly reassuring as we were two senior women travelling without our husbands. We felt very safe.

On a whole the staff was welcoming, polite and very professional. Couldn't come to the reasoning for only 1 bottle of water in the room on arrival. Service was slightly slow when requested anything for the room. A few things that needed to be put right, No shower gel in the dispensers, Do not disturb or room cleaning required did not work. Flushing of the toilet jammed but I worked it out before I left so that it the water never kept running all the time in the system. All in all a pretty comfortable stay.

Location was good but the access road needs upgrading. The whole building needs refurbishing because of poor maintenance the building is dilapidated. Aisha was a fantastic receptionist always trying her best to solve difficult issues. Cleaning was extremely bad. Breakfast choice was limited. A big Shout out to Ibrahim in the restaurant.

My Metzy Residence Hotel Stay
A-metzy-ing! I felt safe and well taken care of at Metzy. The ambiance was great, the staff were friendly and responsive. The meals were decent and the housekeeping did a good job with amazing honesty. The power supply was mostly on and outages lasted only five seconds at most. The internet connectivitty was good. It would be even better if the management fixes the wall of the dining room and positions the breakfast chef outdoors. Keep up the good work Metzy.

The time spent at the hotel was ok the place is old needs a lot of renovation. The area around the hotel needs a lot of work the rain made it very difficult to go in or out .

Pretty hotel the staff are excellent and welcoming.The hotel rooms can be better there are holes in walls need paint cold bathing water and the card you use to enter is the same card used to keep your lights on .Whrn you leave the room all electricity shuts off including the mini fridge so your items spoil whrn u get back.They don’t give wash cloths and expect u to bath with a full towel bring your own

Oh man, where do I start? Lemme start with Mariam, the ever helpful, cheerful receptionist. She is a credit to Metzy. Give her a raise, I say!
Baboucarr was another receptionist who went over and beyond for me. Barrow from Housekeeping kept my room squeaky clean.
The hotel is well located, walking distance from the beach which was handy as I was there every Wednesday jogging. The rooms, well mine, was L shaped and spacious. So spacious I could do my floor exercises right there and not outside on the balcony. There are his and hers sinks in the bathroom so we can do our teeth together. Romantic!
Breakfast consist of boiled eggs, fried eggs, porridge, tea, juice, water and occasionally watermelon. Respect to the breakfast crew for feeding me and for the 'omelette man' for always remembering my 'usual, please': 4 eggs, no onions.
Love the pool too. But my 2 year old nephew loved it so much it was a proper task to get him out of it!
And to think Metzy wasn't even a choice of mine eh!

Amazing staff willing to help you at any time given, with any issues you’ve experienced regarding your rooms or just generally get around, visit places or recommended restaurants and tours.
