Charming hostel in wonderful area close to all. Walkable from train station. Friendly staff. Recommend a stricter no smoking policy in rooms as we smelled pot at night.

A super clean and bright little room for our one night stay. Air con and a lift were bonuses. Lovely lady checked us in. Very convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. A very comfy bed with nice crisp linen. It exceeded expectations as it was much better than I’d expected for the price.

This excellent hostal has amazing air conditioning, wi-fi, water pressure and is located in Malaga's pedestrianized old town, but less than a block from a street if you need to catch an early morning uber to the airport.

Very conveniently located. Basic but perfect for our needs. Friendly staff. Sink in the bathroom is very small. Was incredibly loud until 3am but there were the viernes sante processions taking place. On a normal day I'm not sure what the noise levels would be like.

Service with a smile

We were greeted with a smile and given lots of useful information. The check in was swift and efficient. Our room was spotlessly clean and creatively decorated to maximise the appeal of a tight space. The floor was definitely showing signs of age.The bathroom was tiny but the lighting and water pressure were both good.
We were looking for something that was keenly priced and was located in the heart of Málaga. This little gem certainly delivered all we wanted and needed for a comfortable and pleasant overnight stay.

This was a short overnight stay. The property was on the edge of the Old Town and within walking distance of the train station. It was small but clean and comfortable. There are several restaurants and cafes in the area. The instructions to get in were clear and easy.

Very satisfied on the whole with the property and our stay. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff were great and it is very convenient for the city.

Only a few small issues :-

The walls/doors didn't offer much sound insulation so you here noise at times.

Also, the curtains in our room were white and thin, so light came in.

At times there seemed to be issues with power. This was easy resolved, but would have been better if it hadn't happened at all.

Perfect stay for Malaga and surrounding area

Check in is easy and smooth since there’s a counter and I arrived on time. But I believe it’s easy to pick up the key outside working hours also. The location is just fantastic. In the city center with metro station L1, airport train C1, carrefour express, main square and shopping area all around, without feeling very noisy during the day and night. Maybe not the best part of the city for party but still accessible for bars and restaurants with few minutes walk. My room is of great size and comfort. AC, wifi, toilet and shower work perfectly. For me it’s totally no problem but some people who can’t climb stairs to 3rd floor, it’s gonna be a bit difficult.

Staff were great, so nice and very helpful. Room needed a bit of a refresher, some possible signs of mold in the bathroom. AC worked great and it was a perfect escape from the busy streets just outside which was exactly what we needed.

A really comfortable place in the centre of city

We were really impressed with our one night stay in Hostal Viadamia. It felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. We received a very warm welcome, were able to check in early and store our bags and our room was very comfortable. The bathroom was certainly not suitable for taller people but otherwise it was good. It was great being able to make use of the common room upstairs and we really loved the location.

La habitación no era lo que esperábamos. Nos tocó una habitación con ventana a un patio interior y no podíamos abrir la ventana ya que estaban las máquinas de los aires que desprendían olor y mucho ruido.

El baño tan pequeño que en el retrete nos teníamos que sentar de lado.
No podíamos dar presión a la alcachofa de la ducha ya que si lo hacíamos, la alcachofa salía disparada porque no sujetaba bien en la pared. En la ducha teníamos que entrar de lado.
La habitación no olía bien.

Me dieron la opción de cambiar de habitación, pero debía llevarse a cabo entre unas horas muy limitadas que ellos establecieron y obviamente nosotros al estar de turismo, no estábamos en la habitación para realizar el cambio.

Como comentarios positivos, la cama muy cómoda ,el hostal muy bien situado, y un espacio común muy agradable .

I liked the location, price, staff, working AC. I did pay extra for a private bathroom, but it literally was 25 feet down the hallway. I wasn’t thrilled about that in the middle of the night, but it wasn’t the end of the world.

It’s a great location and was quiet at night to sleep. It was disappointing that the communal area (access to the microwave) closed at 2pm, instructions could perhaps be updated to reflect what is accessible during this Covid-19 period. The space was cleaned thoroughly and bed comfy enough.

Staff are nice and helpful. The room got good smell but there is no TV inside the room. The window in the room is not facing street, pretty quiet.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town easy access to everywhere. The room was nice a bit sparse in terms of wall decor (some
Bold paintings might brighten up a bit?) minor points downside: were the lack of a view and old noisy air con. Must be a nightmare in summer? The shower was a bit small with tap in wrong place. Chest of drawers a bit old and broken. But overall we had a wonderful stay. The bed was super-comfy and not at all bad for the cost. I would definitely return but ask for a room with a window view. Thanks

Brilliant value modern studio apt

We’d been to Kraków 6 years previous and stayed in queens boutique hotel which is quite nearby so already had our bearings from airport by train so easy to find - studio apartment is really nice and great value - walk into old town is only 5/10 minutes passing shops and bars on the way - good cafe next door to apt.
Only things missing in studio were a safe and an iron (I didn’t need the iron but a bit odd as there was an ironing board)
Went to maroon 5 concert at the arena - studio very close to tramline - great service and very cheap

Overall good stay. The tiny washroom is a bit smelly and hence the room smells as well. Some of that smell got on my clothes, so it isn’t the most pleasant. Amazing location. Will not be staying here again due to the smell. The rest was great!

Die Lage des Hostals ist unschlagbar, am Rande des Altstadt Zentrums und am sich sehr ruhig (was den Straßen/Partylärm angeht). Freundliche Begrüßung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig - damit meine ich wirklich sehr hellhörig; man bekommt einfach ALLES seiner Nachbarn mit und zusätzlich den Lärm der Klimaanlagen (die braucht man auch, da die Fenster sehr klein sind und es jede Menge Mücken gab). Also Ohrstöpsel unverzichtbar. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer allerdings schon sehr klein. Das Bad noch kleiner - eigentlich hätte man hier entscheiden müssen, ob Toilette oder Dusche. Es gibt natürlich beides, aber auf der Toilette sitzen kann man nicht wirklich. Sauberkeit war im zweiten Anlauf (auf Nachfrage) in Ordnung. Fazit: super Lage für einen wirklich günstigen Preis...aber mit wirklich deutlichen Abstrichen!

Vom Preis unschlagbare Unterkunft und sehr süß eingerichtet. Nur leider wurden wir in der ersten Nacht von Lauten Mädels auf dem Gang geweckt. Die Luft im Einzelbettenzimmer ist recht feucht, da hatten wir irgendwann die Tür zum Flur offen gelassen. Sehr zentral und für den Preis MEGA.

Había olor feo cuando entraba al lugar y siguió a lo largo de la estadía. Era una mezcla a vómitos con fritura. Las paredes son finas y se puede escuchar TODO lo que dicen las personas afuera.

Ahora, lo positivo fue la atención de la chica que nos atendió. Super amable y dispuesta a contestarnos todas las preguntas. Además la ubicación era perfecta para el tipo de viaje que tenía en mente.

No estuvimos contentas. Me exigieron que porque no había ido a hacer el check-out cuando en los horarios que tuve de entrada y salida la recepción estaba cerrada. Anterior a la estancia me llamaron y pedí que me cobrasen el alojamiento junto con el suplemento por mascota, el cual un trabajador me dijo un precio, en la pagina aparecía otro y la dueña me dijo otro. Me dijeron que me habia ido sin pagar cuando anteriormente comunique que hiciesen el cobro de todo incluido la mascota y me dijeron que no podian cobrar la cantidad porque no podian ver la tarjeta y a los dos días me hicieron lel cobro.
La habitación se veia que no estaba limpia, sin entrar en detalle.

L'expérience est dommage. Il n'y a personne à la réception après 16 heures. Notre avion a eu du retard. Nous n'avons pas répondu aux appels ni aux e-mails, nous n'avons donc pas pu nous enregistrer à l'hôtel. Il faisait froid.

Das ist eine Unterkunft für Partygänger und Nachtmenschen! Liegt in der Altsstadt und ist sehr hellhörig
trotz geschlossenen Fensters. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und für zwei Personen keinesfalls ausreichen. Es gibt kein Schrank und nicht genügend Ablageflächen und es gibt nur einen Stuhl ohne Tisch und das in einer Suite.

Bad viel zu klein, keine Möglichkeit gerade auf dem Klo zu sitzen, in der Dusche kann man sich nicht drehen. Tür zum Bad lässt sich nicht zumachen. Keine Frischluftzufuhr, Bad sowie auch Schlafzimmer stickig.

L’hostel est très bien placé et le personnel est très agréable et arrangeant. A noter en revanche que pour la chambre choisie: chambre avec lits superposés et salle de bain privative nous avons été un peu déçu. La salle de bain était bien privative mais non accolée à la chambre et le bruit venant de la rue était trop important.

Por el precio, muy bueno.

Muy céntrico, y fácil aparcamiento en las proximidades. Lo único malo es mucha escalera, cada cosa está en una planta, recomendable , jóvenes.
Mucho ruido por las noches.

El horario de recepción es bajísimo solo hay presencia de 10 a 14:00 horas, el teléfono nunca contestan. Mi reserva se realiza como una habitación individual y cuando llego no tiene el baño dentro de la habitación, si no que se encuentra al final de un pasillo, por lo que para acceder a tu baño tienes que salir de la habitación con las llaves y acudir al baño, esta circunstancia debe informarse previo a la reserva. La habitación en cuestión además por su situación en la calle hay muchísimo ruido, llévate antifaces y tapones por que no hay casi privacidad.

Heerlijk dicht bij het centrum. De kamers zijn klein en basic, dat maakt op zich niet uit, maar voor een lang iemand zou het moeilijk zijn om je tussen de wc en wastafel te proppen. Wanneer de bovenburen gaan douchen komt het water in de badkamer door de lamp gedrupt. Heel gehorig doordat het dunne wandjes en deuren zijn. Wel een gastvriendelijke beheerster die probeert zich goed verstaanbaar te maken

Muy buena ubicación

Hotel ubicado en el centro, está todo cerca y en general todo perfecto. La única pega era que la habitación interior tiene una gran ventana sin persiana y las cortinas son translúcidas, con lo cual si el de la habitación de al lado encendia la luz, entraba en la habitación, o cuando sale el sol. Quitando eso el alojamiento de 10 (la habitación en un primero sin ascensor)
