Very nice view from the Balcony. However, guest need to clean up after themselves. They left coffee cups, ice cream cups, wrappers, etc. on the tables and ground.

The location was superb; we arrived early and reception was very accommodating; they answered all our questions patiently throughout our stay. Breakfast was fine; food items were replenished throughout the morning, although not very quickly, so it was possible to finish eating a breakfast of nothing but bread before additional breakfast items were replenished. That happened more than once during our 5 night stay.

I stayed here for two days and the staff were friendly upon arrival. They held our luggage for awhile because our check in was well after we arrived. Staff was nice and helpful and the location was perfect-walking distance from Acropolis and downtown. The area was great! However, the room didn’t feel very clean and the bathroom was tiny.

Great location for acropolis, botanic gardens and panathaneaic Olympic stadium. We had a family room for four which was perfect. Some reviews had said it could be noisy. We didn’t experience any noise and we were on first floor. It’s a very simple hotel. Great value. Would stay again if passing through Athens.

We arrived in the middle of the night and there was someone at the front desk. The check in process was quick and easy. The price we paid was great. I must comment on how clean the room was. One very small mention is that the room does have air conditioning but we had a small attached room that included bunk beds for our kids; that room was very hot and did not have a separate ac unit. We kept the door open from our room and used the fan to circulate some air into the kids room. The hotel also has an elevator with was helpful in moving our larger pieces of luggage. Great location and near the acropolis (about a 12 minute walk). Shops and restaurants are all around. Convenient free luggage storage while touring the area after checking out. Love it and would recommend staying there again! Pic is from the rooftop deck of the hotel. Forgot to mention that you can see a small portion of the acropolis from your room- we had a two small balconies.

We had a beautiful, full view of the Acropolis from our hotel balcony. The staff was great; accommodating & knowledgeable. Breakfast was good & reasonably priced. Location, in Plaka, was wonderful. Easy walk to many historical sights, the Metro, dining, shopping. It was a very nice little town with friendly people. What I did not like about the hotel room was the bed. It was awful. It was almost like sleeping on the floor. If they would just purchase some decent beds, it would be a perfect place to stay.

We stayed here before and after our cruise so had two different rooms , the first one we had a double and a separate twin room for our sons the second one we were all together in a family room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a small balcony. The bathrooms looked a bit tired. The lift was terrifying. The roof top terrace gave an amazing view of the Acropolis

I enjoyed my stay at Adam's Hotel very much. Staff was friendly and polite. Older property (as expected) but very clean and inviting. Easy walk to many locations with shopping and dining around every corner. My taxi was not ordered as expected but this was resolved very quickly with a call to the property. They owned the mistake and walked me through where to flag a taxi at the airport. Also advised all taxis from the airport are negotiated at 50 EUR so not to allow them to charge me more (which they did not try to charge me more). Everyone was so kind!

Started woth secure parking around the corner... didnt even need to bring all our bags out. Then beautiful balcony for coffee. Coffe shop in plaza below opens at 6am.. breakfast served at 7:30. Bonus was roof top patio to sit and watch the sunset behind the Acropolis while a little 3 piece Red Hot Chiller Pepper Cover band played in the plaza below us. Shower tight, but AC worked!

Unfortunately we had room # 106 and the internet was terrible I had to go downstairs to the lobby 3 times to take care of internet business. Also the bathroom/toilet was awkwardly situated. Location is very good and the restaurants and bars in the nearby square are very good. 5 minutes walk to the Akropolis station with good links around the city.
The hotel itself was not great, the staff were very helpful, but the facilities were poor. Bed was rock hard, room smaller than anticipated, the photos of the rooms are not accurate, ours had a photo of the Acropolis from the balcony, not true, none of the rooms faced that way, building yes Acropolis no, although you had a great view from the rooftop.
On a small note, we were given a kettle and 2 cups, that was all!!!, now I'm sure we good have got teabags and coffee if we asked but why were they not there initially???.

We communicated with the hotel about our flight being delayed and they replied about waiting for us to check in which was reassuring and got us into our rooms at 2 AM. The room (and i believe whole hotel) was supposed to be nonsmoking, but when I got there, my room smelled like an ashtray, bed, towels, curtains, etc. There was also an ashtray in the room, so it probably shouldnt have been listed as \"nonsmoking.\" It was also dirty, with mold all over the bathroom, only a single sheet on the bed so it was freezing. Lastly, while some staff clearly knew what was going on, the guy at check in told me to use the elevator, which later On the upper floors it had labels not to use the elevators because people were getting stuck inside. That seemed like a fire hazard in addition to the locking doors to get in and out without a lot of guidance on how to get out (it was a small silver button to the side of the door), also a fire hazard.

The view was prefect and the walking distance was perfect. You don’t need a car at all everything that you needed was a in walking distance the Adams Hotel was nice and safe they had security door that means you had to key in a code to go in the hotel without the code you won’t get in the hotel. The room was big enough for family of four but the complaint was the bathroom was small and the beds was hard. There was breakfast on cite. I do recommend the restaurant Mythos it was so good my kids had Greek salad French fries stuff grape leaves octopus and cod fish with garlic sauce and vegetables and lots of fresh bread. The price was reasonable.

The hotel location is excellent, with a partial view of the Acropolis. The manager Mike went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He even gave us a wakeup call even though we did not request one, just to ensure we didn't miss our early flight!!

When my husband and I checked in, the front desk clerk gave us the only room on the ground floor. The room was dark and only had two very narrow windows that were opaque and could not be seen through. After complaining about the room persistently, the clerk finally was able to come up with another room. This room was bright and had glass doors leading to a little patio. However, the air conditioning did not work properly and my we found the room sweltering when we returned to our room the first night. When we complained to the night clerk, he lectured us about using the remote control incorrectly. This is absurd since we have a similar heating and cooling system at home. We followed the instructions the next day - again without success. The bottom line is that the system does not work properly. My husband and I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Our room had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was nice. If we were allowed to go to the roof for the view in the pic we had no idea you could do that. The breakfast was the standard Athens fare. The room was big enough with a good size bathroom and a little tiny two person elevator for those who can’t do stairs. The location was very good if you like the Plaka area.

Did not purchase breakfast thru hotel, it starts at 8am if you do, not much open in the area before 730 either. great hotel for the price if you plan on spending the days seeing the sights and walking around athens.

We had a short stay in Athen en route to Italy and selecting Adams hotel was a perfect choice. I love the marble flooring of the hotel. It looks so neat and clean. The ambience of the hotel is so warm and light. Enough comfort in the room for a cold spring night with a tiny but clean bathroom. The place is just walking distance away from tourist spot. An excellent choice in terms of location. Just might want to consider walking around and be surprised of what you can find. The souvenir shops are just in the neighborhood and consider trying restaurant just next to the hotel for an excellent meal. The breakfast was pleasing.

The room however was tiny with a hard bed a 17 inch tv that is way to high on the wall. The shower was busted ( I had to fix it my self!) the whole bathroom is 4x4 feet. and the shower is small even for a kid!

Really enjoyed this hotel. Was a great location in the Plato’s district! On a quiet corner, easy to find and central to the ruins. Safe and beautiful to walk around at night - great patio on the roof to grab a bottle of wine and watch the sunset. If you’re used to a European breakfast it will be perfect, if you’re not forego the breakfast and find a nice spot in the district! We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Athens!

Position of this hotel was a great asset, very close to many attractions, Acropolis, parliament guard change, museum, flea market, shopping, restaurants etc. Continental breakfast available but better value at nearby cafes, cooked with eggs and bacon, coffee etc. Room was quite small and would possibly not stay again if same room offered but if larger room available would most definitely stay again. No lounge area to sit and relax. Otherwise very clean and fresh.

We stayed at the hotel for the last night of our stay before leaving Athens. We wanted to be close to Plaka for some last minute shopping. This hotel is in such a great location! Walking distance to Plaka, Acropolis Museum, Acropolis, great restaurants, coffee shops. I would recommend this hotel for the location and customer service. They allowed my to store my bags after my checkout. The hotel is old and the rooms are very basic, with old furnishings. However, its clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. The breakfast is very basic; coffee, juice, yogurt, toast, cheese, meats and fruit. You are getting this hotel for it's location and it's price. That was my priority, so if that's what you are looking for, then this is the place.
