Last September when I first stayed at this Hotel, the room was small and cozy. Everything was clean and tidy. I said if I ever head down to Wollongong again, Harp Hotel is the answer. The room had a fridge, a cool air conditioner, and the hotel is close to shops, WIN Stadium and their Entertainment Center.
The hotel sent me an email detailing my stay, and what to expect. Yes, they make us be aware of the noise from the nightclub below and the $200 security bond in which we'll get back. I love it there. It's not exactly a 5 star hotel, but it's small, cozy and a very comfy bed to catch some Zzz's. When I do head down to Wollongong again, I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Staff were nice and room was clean. It is located above a karaoke bar (that goes till 2am) every night. the motel provides hearing protection in the lobby. If you don't like noise while trying to sleep, this place wouldn't be for you. Safety deposit was also $200, which is double the standard, our deposit was returned same afternoon as check out. It is located in a good area. One block away from the beach and mall.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed while booking through Expedia. The description misses so much…..the hotel is dirty, it is on a very busy street with a lot of traffic, they charge your credit card an additional $200 as a security deposit, there is a night club that goes until 2 am and you can hear the music from pretty much every room. There are so many more negative things I could say — in essence - stay somewhere else.

Ok I made a mistake by booking a double room, thinking as always you get a bed big enough. Sadly not! My husband it 5'9 so need I say what we experienced. Tv keptwd switching off could not sign into netflix.

Central location in the city. Always had a parking space and car was safe. Plenty of food options around. The room was very clean, had all amenities that I needed. Yes, it is above the bar and there is karaoke night, but I stayed during the week and was very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. The staff were very helpful and kind.
