This motel is not worth $200.
My parking space outside my room was taken and all parking spots were taken. The bed linen was stained and the bathroom was very small, particularly the wash basin. No cupboard or hanging space.

Bed was comfy with crisp linens, large bath towels. Needed an extra mirror other than the one in the bathroom. We asked for a power board or extension lead as my mums cpap sleep apnea machine couldn’t plug into power points as they are right at the bottom of the skirting boards. After some time I was notified via text message that they had found 2 & had left them on the table in our room which was helpful. Also a bedside table next to single bed would be a good addition. Overall enjoyable stay in a convenient location.

Location is really the only thing going for this Motel. It’s old and tired. Room 21 needed towels over the window to stop the light from the stairs keeping us awake. Blinds didn’t close properly.

We had 1 coffee cup.
The bathroom was from the 70’s. As was my bed I think.

For the price you pay I’d expect more. Definitely not worth the price tag.

Staff were great though and it was close to the function we were attending.

The bed was comfortable, room clean and area was quiet. Added bonus of complimentary cereals, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Only thing needed was block out curtains as a lot of light did come through the blinds. Overall a good motel for an affordable price.

Decent price and 5 minute walk to Anitas Theatre for show over the long weekend. Plenty of parking and check-in is via a SMS message to unlock the door. Had basic toiletries, towels,decent fridge and microwave. TV is a bit of a nightmare to operate and wifi is below average. Was pretty quiet once the restaurant customers next door at Andies left. Good price for what you get. Local hotel is next to Anitas and has plenty food to choose and the kitchen stays open until 4pm for lunch on the weekend. We went to go back there after the show but wanted a $20cover charge.For a pub! Visit the Tequila Bar on the walk back to the motel.

Great location but very overpriced for the room we had (21) which was at the end with a very bright light shining all night directly outside our window. The blinds were broken so couldn’t be closed properly. Bedside lamp light bulb didn’t work. Shelf in the bathroom had been broken off and not replaced.

The property was ideally located for my stay. It was a 300m walk to the venue I attended.
The room was clean and had a microwave, plates and cups etc as well as good sized fridge.
The bathroom was clean but old and needs some updating. The window at the back of the room could not be latched and there was no safe.
As everything was electronic the only interaction I had with the staff were the cleaners who were lovely.
Parking was easy. It had an old motel charm about it. Yes I would stay there again.

Do not stay.

Room had not been cleaned properly. The previous guest's half-drunk Pepsi bottle was still in the fridge, the milk was opened and spilt in the fridge, one coffee satchel only, no cereals or anything like our friends had in their room. The bathroom is really old and in desperate need of an update. The shower was terrible. The free to air TV didn't work. The blinds don't block out the bright lights of the external stairwell. We had a cockroach running around the room. The only good thing about the room was the bed was comfortable.

For the prices being charged, this was a very underwhelming facility. Even though it was the Easter LWE, I would have expected the dinning facilities to be open. The room was tidy enough however there was a missing shelf over the very old and dated sink in the bathroom, the hot water tap fell off in my hand and was unable to put back on properly because the thread had stripped and to top it all off, the bathroom leaked from under the tiles out onto the carpet.
Then to top it all off, I was in the room where a famous Artist died many years ago!!!
I would not reccommend this Hotel to anyone...

We thought it was very central to the main street and theatre. Didn't see any staff. All correspondence by email. Room was the closest to the main road. It was tired in appearance. However, it was clean and suited our needs. It was an easy stroll to a little seafood tapas which was YUM. Yes i would stay there again.

Bathrooms outdated, basin taps needed to be secured. Blinds facing car park were broken.
Chipped mug.
Smokers should be given an area outside the motel building and not down the upstairs corridor to smoke as they make a noise and disturb people trying to sleep.
Beds were clean and very comfortable . Great idea providing cereal for breakfast.

Received a message advising of check in details & aircon was running when we got there, which was appreciated on such a hot day.

3 x single beds, mattresses were reasonably comfortable, but 1 bed was located directly under the airconditioner & was blowing straight on my grandson, so we couldn't have it on during the night.
Vertical blinds on windows allowed a lot of light in & as there was a lot of noise from the main road.
Packets of cereals in the fridge were a nice touch.
Best feature of the motel is it's location - walking distance to beach, pool & eatteries.

Booking and check-in was all automated on-line and by SMS. It was a very efficient and unique experience. Despite the poor shower water pressure, the unit was well equipped, tidy and very clean. The Motel is conveniently located and within very easy walking distance of shops, amenities and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Centre of the main shops and coffee bars are walk in distance and beaches some walking distance. The only thing is that the motel is outdated and needs to have some loving Care sheets are clean. Floor looks fine. Carpet looks old a few mosquitoes around the area trying to kill them at night And cockroach just needs to be taken care of. I would say this motel is a three star.

Not sure if we lucked out and booked an expensive night, but in essence was very expensive for a bog basic, 2 or 3 star, decades old motel. Nothing horribly wrong but nothing specific to say \"This was better than expected\". Owner's clearly follow the old adage of \"If it ain't obviously broke, don't bother making guests happier by refreshing it.\" Some milk for the blend 43 in the fridge would have been appreciated.

Noisiest accomodation ever. Could clearly here people talking through the thin walls on both sides of room 2, and heavy stomping above in room 12 at all hours of the night. Got about 12 interrupted hours of sleep over the 3 night stay. Wouldn’t recommend.
