5 Night Stay. Needs a modern upgrade asap. The water taps constantly leak overnight even when fully tightened. The small TV had to be replaced with a new one twice and no access to foxtel. The shower screen above the bathtub needs to be extended as water splashes everywhere. Housekeeping was average over the NYE period. Would recommend only for 1-2 nights max.

Property felt tired and run down. The heater turned off after half an hour so we were freezing at night, and the showers ran out of hot water 5 mins in. Our room smelt quite damp and stale. Grout in bathroom mouldy. Hotel is in a great location, and the reception staff were lovely so unfortunate about the condition of it. Not worth the price.

The room was really good but the TV was left over from last century. A bit disappointing as the rest of the room was fairly new. The toaster need replacing as it does everything but toast bread! We wasted 6 slices of bread to find the toaster was not fit for purpose.

We stayed in an apartment which faced onto the Main Street which was very noisy, in particular of a Saturday and Sunday night the noise would echo up from the street. Also, the wi- fi was down for 4 out of the 5 days we were there.

No compassion at all. Our travels we interrupted due to circumstances out of our control and lost hundreds of dollars on flights. When we tried to at least re-coup our accommodation we were turned away with no care or compassion - it was basically ‘too hard’ for them to refund our stay. We travel a lot and will not choose to stay at Quest around the country again.

We were in room 205 which has a disabled access ensuite. This means the entire bathroom toilet and floor is wet after the first shower. We asked to be moved to another room and were informed that all the rooms have a disabled ensuite. We were informed that they were upgrading, the sooner the better.

We were very disappointed with our room. We arrived late in the afternoon on a very hot day, to find our room stifling hot, we turned on the air conditioner to try and cool it down. I rang reception to ask for some pedestal fans for the two bedrooms, to find that there phone didn't work. I rang using my own phone and the lady in reception brought a couple of fans up to us, both of them were dirty and dusty and one was partially broken in the base , therefore not holding the pedestal straight and it wobbled about. We went out and grabbed dinner to find the room hot again because the air conditioner had turned itself off. Reception had gone for the night so we were basically on our own. We turned the Air conditioning on again and checked in the settings that no timers were on and went to bed. The beds were not comfortable and the pillows were non existent ,no support for your neck and the beds and bases were shocking, too much use and they hadn't been turned regularly enough. Of course the next thing was the air conditioner went off again during the night making the room hot and unpleasant again.Yes I made a complaint to the reception staff that morning and both the ladies I dealt with were very nice and obliging. I also spoke with the manager on the phone and I found him to be unhelpful, he told me I should look at how many people had been happy with there stay and he just couldn't please everyone!!! I did get a partial refund but because of the response I got I wrote this

Unfortunately my room fronted onto Keira St. I asked to be re-located to a room not facing Keira street but this request was denied. I stayed on a Saturday night and the screams and shouts from groups of drunk young males walking along Keira street made sleeping impossible. Added to this was an intermittent internal noise in the building (pipes or an internal air con system). At 3am I eventually gave up the hope of getting any sleep, packed my things and left my room key under the door at reception. Needless to stay I won't be choosing this place again.
