Food and alcohol were extremely over priced and not enjoyable. Majestic tours is not reliable and very unprofessional. Stay at the comfort suites and save thousands but enjoy all the amenities 😉

The Atlantis resort is amazing for families. You have everything you need at the resort. It's absolutely beautiful. The staff was so kind and helpful. I think the only complaint I would have is the food cost, but I didn't notice any difference even outside the resort.

Overall staff was great. App was helpful. Shuttle service was good but at times it would take 20-30 min to get to our destination. They were always out of towels for the beach/pool which made it frustrating. I would walk to multiple huts and they all would be out. The longest time to restock was over 2 hours. The room ac had some problems. Overall room was very clean. Laundry room was available for us to use which made it nice. I would not go back though. Everything was so over priced. We were paying minimum of $175-$250/meal for 2 adults and a 7yr old and 9yr old including breakfast. We just went to the Cayman Islands 5 months ago and it was priced way better than Atlantis. It was nice to have so many things to do right on the property but also hard on our feet with all the walking around in slides. It was just a lot.

The experience was amazing minus the front desk service that was not that good at all , to many messages asking for arrival information and once in the hotel , as an early arrival we had to wait to long to get the room, housekeeping was notified of our arrival and almost 4 hour after, the room was not ready yet or the staff didn’t wanted to give the room to us until 4pm check in time , but only took a trip to VIP services for a room to appear available at the moment, but besides that inconvenience everything was amazing

We had an amazing time at Atlantis. We stayed at The Reef in a 2 bedroom suite. We had 2 couples with 3 children ranging from 2, 11 and 13. The suite provided ample space for everyone. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the water park as well the beach.

when we checked into our room we did not get the ocean view we paid for. our room was dirty and had mold all over in the bathrooms. carpet smelled and the room smelled like mold,
the staff was very rude they did not want to change our room. they lied by telling us to come back the next day and they will change our room when we went the next day they sailed they have nothing available. all staff will not budge unless you slip them cash. terrible service and the main pool at the cove is now adults only and u see constructions. they had a trailer where they served lunch. shame on you guys for charging g so much

The resort was nice. We stayed in the Reef, on first floor. We thought the place Definetly needs a remodel. Room was nice and big. But they are definetly do for an update. The prices are way too expensive for food and drinks. We ended up going to local market and liquor store to get supplies. Some of the staff was nice, others were rude and not very helpful. Personally, would not stay at Atlantis property again. Just not the quality you would expect, for the prices you pay.

The first room we were at on 22nd floor did not have functional lock in the balcony, shower door was not closing, there were additional broken things inside the room. Luckily, we were able to relocate to a different room on lower floor. In addition, the beach and pool chairs (all the same) were broken for the most part and since there are no umbrellas, it was hard to stay away from the sun during the day. Many water showers by the beach are also not functional. Personal comes across somewhat rude, but are very helpful. Also, there is no waiters by the pool or the beach and you would have to walk to get your drinks and food. No complementary water or sunscreen. But typical 15% service charge is automatically applied to all purchases. Although the hotel offers a lot of restaurants and entertainment, which is great for kids, I was not impressed by the service and outdated/ broken amenities.

1st was told there were no upgrades available, then was kinda of given one but was not by my family like requested. We were one of the 1st to check in for that day. Rooms are not really clean. There was hair all over from pr previous guess. The room needed some maintenance. Refrigerator is in a cupboard, so it doesnt get proper air flow. We kept the doors open the whole time for the fridge to work. The toilet paper roll holder was broke and really annoying. The AC didnt work well. The grounds are kept well. The beach needs a good raking. We found a lot of sharp glass everywhere everyday. The beach chairs don't work well. There were out of beach towels 3 out of the 6 days we were there. We stayed at the Reef and the food and beverage was extremely limited. We only had bside as an option. They were rude and the drinks cant freeze because its outside. The bside also didnt refill the Atlantis cups. We had to walk through the Cove building and across the pool area to get a refill. It was extremely frustrating. You pay extra for the Reef and you don't get your money's worth because you have to go to the royal for everything, any food or drink. I talked to the front desk and told them the issues a d they said they cant get ahold of the food and beverage manager. So the hotel manager gave me a 300 credit. Considering that half of our vacation was walking and waiting in line for drinks and you pay a fortune, I guess 300 is fine. Not all but a good amount of workers were not friendly

Had a great time at Atlantis Paradise island with a large group of family and friends. 27 of us had a great time! Staff was caring and helpful. Facility is great and you have to do the Lazy River at the water park. Beaches are pristine and the water so soft. Food was amazing at every restaurant.

My family and I had a wonderful Bahamas vacation, The Reef was the absolute perfect hotel for us. The 2 bedroom suite was absolutely wonderful and more than we expected. Staff was always very helpful and courteous, we will definitely be back and when we do it'll be another stay at the Reef.

Front desk staff was generally not helpful and frequently locked us out of our room due to an issue with our card even though I asked to prepay and authorize extra amounts for room service, etc, so that was frustrating. Overall the trip was good but I would not visit again.

Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious, immaculately clean, quiet, and absolutely perfect. We utilized the shuttle frequently as it is a good hike between towers, for us any way. The beach and pool were not crowded, the food was very good at the snack shack.
My only complaint would be the beach chairs could use some TLC, several of the shades were broken and not representative of the quality we found with everything else on the resort.

Great trip with a 3 and 4 year old. We had groceries delivered to the room from food2go so we were able to cook dinner for our picky kids before heading to the restaurants. Room was much larger than expected in the reef with full kitchen.

We are staying at two different towers during our stay. And for those that may want to use this review to help them pick. This review is for the Reef Tower.

Pros: The ocean view rooms (we stayed in room 21916) have a nice and large balcony, and on the Paradise beach which is more quiet and calm for little kids. They also have onsite free washer and dryer for your laundry, just bring your own detergent, and dryer sheets as a pro tip. Buying anything at the resort is insane. This tower also has a kitchenette, so you can cook to keep costs down and they have a small sundries place to buy $9 for a dozen eggs, believe that is way cheaper than any other options onsite.

Cons: rooms are less up ro date as compared to Royal. Shuttling between towers can be annoying. Especially at night. There is little security, so you get rowdy USA teenagers running a muck. And there is no one to patrol or assist you past 8pm. We had teenagers knocking on doors at 2am.

IMHO: at 500-560$ per night, I would advise going to Hawaii. But Bahamas was on our bucket list. But I don’t think we will be coming back. Will post an update on Royal Tower once we conclude that stay.

I have waited over a month to write this review. My family of 4 plus mother in law and sister in law recently took a week long trip to Atlantis. Second stay in two years.

On our last day I came across a patron who collapsed and was in cardiac arrest. The outcome was not good, as they passed away. Me and a few others did cpr on this person for 30 mins. It took the medical staff over 40 mins to get to this patron. No urgency what so ever. In a mega resort like this where at any given moment could have a city’s worth of people on property there was no doctors, medics or nurses.

The staff tried to hush the situation by trying to send me away in a private car to the airport and take care of all my room charges. I was told by a higher level executive manager at the hotel that they were going to call me in a week, a month later I have heard nothing, my trip that was going to be comped hasn’t been comped. I really don’t care about the money aspect I care that they didn’t stick to their word.

This resort just takes from people and doesn’t take care of their paying customers in any way. If your going to the Atlantis make sure your in good health, because Rolling the dice if not.

I will never return to the Atlantis. It’s really to bad because my family had such an amazing time prior. On top of that unfortunate situation, the property’s beaches are dirty and littered with trash, which should be dealt with by both patrons and STAFF! Do better Atlantis, for everyone

Absolutely best vacation spot. We went for a week with 4 adults 3 kids and stayed at the Reef 2 bedroom suite. Everything was impeccable! Pool is connected to the beach with lots of chairs. The shuttle saved us so much walking and runs consistently.

The Reef was beautiful and had the nicest beach. Great for families who want to eat in/prepare their own food. Staying here reminded me a bit like Disney. A lot of walking back and forth (though they do have buses). The dining we preferred was in Royal/Marina. They tried sending us to Harbor view even though we booked ocean view. After a little bit of pushback they gave us the ocean view. It is not high season right now and was not busy so not sure what the reasoning was. Third party booking?

Beautiful property with so many activities that a week is not enough. However, the staff are rude, not helpful and just come off as cold, like no one is happy to be working there. Food quality is mediocre, service is terrible.
We travel a lot, all over the world, I have yet to visit any other country with bad food, and bad service that would equal to this place. Not sure if all of Bahamas is like this, or if it was just this resort.

They robbed me with hidden charges and they charge you services that you have not received as well as in restaurants that you have never been to, they charge you for drinks and things like that a scam, you call the hotel and they answer you and when they do they tell you that they are going to check and nothing is stolen your money I will never go again and I will surely not recommend it

If I could give this place less than zero stars for service, I would. The hotel and the facilities are beautiful, and the food is good. However, the service in every area is beyond terrible.

The staff won’t even look you in the eye, and they seem annoyed by the simplest questions. It feels like they are used to tourists coming regardless of how poorly they are treated, probably because of the large number of cruise passengers who visit.

The transportation within the resort is horrible. The drivers are extremely rude, unfriendly, and treat guests with no humanity whatsoever. We were traveling with a 6-month-old baby, and they wanted us to walk several blocks because they simply did not want to take us where we needed to go.

They do not seem to care about complaints because the managers protect the staff, and everyone covers for each other. It feels like a system that allows this poor treatment of guests to continue.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL IT MAY BE. Service is the most important part of staying at a hotel, and the treatment we received was unacceptable.

Driver Henry was especially horrible. He treated us unfairly and kept us riding around the shuttle throughout the resort because he did not want to drop us off at our building. Even though we were carrying a 6-month-old baby in our arms, he simply refused to do his job. The service experience at this resort was terrible in every area.

The room was very clean but the water smells like sewer. Taking a bath isn’t exactly appealing when the water stinks and I certainly wasn’t drinking it. It would be nice if there was a restaurant inside the reef or a bar but there is not. The privacy of the beach and pool makes it all worth it. Our room was very large and the beds were very comfortable.

Rented a 2 bedroom suite for our family of 4. It was better than we thought. Both rooms had kitchens, living space, tables, etc. perfect place for families. Down side, no restaurants in the hotel or spots to enjoy a cocktail. You have to go to other hotels for dining. Hotel is great if you prefer beach, but if you want to spend more time near the waterpark or activities, this hotel is not the best for that.

We obtained a very nice room upgrade but be aware of the hidden 20% fees and taxes. Front desk was attentive and house keeping was very good. Be sure to insist the porter put your bags in a locker when checking out else will be left outside (lazy).

Grounds, beach and staff are amazing but note there are numerous broken lounge chairs along the beachfront - sad and poorly maintained given this high end resort. Walking at night felt safe and an on site Starbucks was perfect!

Shuttle buses enabled us to experience all of Atlantis's restaurants, watermarks and casino.

The exteriors were well kept up, someone was always cleaning something. The landscaping was pristine. Staff were always in a great mood, very helpful and friendly.
Atlantis is very family friendly. My 3 year old loved the lazy river and dolphin program.
What could be better:
The room furniture is dated, we stayed at thye Reef. Also, the cost should be made for family budget friendly. That being said, an overall great experience!!

This is the best resort we’ve ever stayed at! There is so much do and see! Our ocean view was spectacular from the Reef. Shuttles came every 10 minutes to take you to the other properties or you could just walk. Everything is clean and well maintained and staff is very friendly. We are definitely coming back!

We stayed in a two bedroom harbor view at the Reef. Had lots of space for 4 adults and one 20 year old. Room was clean and well appointed. Resort is beautiful and there is a ton to do. Loved the water park especially the rapid river. Marine life everywhere you turn and the dig is spectacular! Dining we enjoyed most was Cocodrilo, Marina pizza , and Good Lies Sports bar. We were not impressed with Carmines. While salad was huge and tasty, meatball in red sauce and rigatoni was watery and no flavor. Also disappointed in shrimps scampi. Worst was being totally forgotten at end of meal, waited at least 25 from time done eating till asked someone not our waiter to get our check . We did Finn’s, flippers and feathers was absolutely amazing and my ten year old granddaughter was trying to figure out a way to live at Atlantis. Her enjoyment made it a fabulous vacation.

Bring your wallet! $1000 hold placed on credit card for incidentals and they are completely cashless. Don’t get much sleep because the first night the dishwasher beeped all night and had to call the front desk. The next night had to call again because the sprinkler was vibrating so loudly that it woke us up. It could be heard when my husband called the front desk. The response was swift but it was distracting. Overall, it was a nice resort and we enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed at the Reef with a 10 and 13 year old boy. We loved having the full kitchen! The Reef was a bit of a walk to all the water slides and fun activities but it was a beautiful walk and it felt less crowded and more relaxing! The Reef beach was clam and the water was less choppy for my kids. The beach chairs were always available being that that are reserved for the Reef and Cove hotel guests only. The shuttle was a hit in the evening when the kids were too tired to walk. Overall it was an amazing vacation. We are already planning our next trip to Atlantis.

Dining options were limited and the requirement to pay $11.00 for a bottle of water was disheartening.
