Location is wonderful, staff, when there, were friendly and helpful. However, the room was dirty, and you have to call the front desk (when they are there) to change the room temperature, which made for one warm night and two cold nights since nobody was there after hours to change the temperature.

This hotel was clean and easy to access (with a taxi). The staff was very helpful and polite. It was well stocked if you wanted to eat or cook in. There were plenty of extra bla keys and pillows. This was a pleasant stay and we would recommend.

This is a perfect little place if you want to be able to make your own breakfast and get on with the day. It is only 10 minutes walk from the main piazza. What I didn't like is that fact that both my mum and I had make up stolen. The cost of the item is not an issue but it is the inconvenience. We were told that we must of thrown the items in the bin. Both of us didn't have our make up near a bin...my mum's was in her make up bag in the bedroom and mine was outside of the bathroom on a shelf. The hotel said that there was no way a staff member would steal. I said that if I wanted to make accusations I would have said money or jewellery was stolen not 2 items inexpensive items of make up. The rest of the trip we just kept our valuables locked in our suitcase.

This property was very spacious and close to many cafes and restaurants and a quick walk to Marina Grande. The staff was helpful and spoke English. We did have an ant problem, which once we informed the staff, they came and took care of it. We were told the trash would be taken out daily, but can't say that was the case for us. However, it was a very affordable option and served its purpose for us.

Excellent central yet quiet and safe location to all major Sorrento tourist spots. We love the location and very convenient! The small convenient store and ATM just next door. Rent-a car or vaspa or bike just around the corner. Awesome restaurants just few steps away and lemon orchards, Marina port, Piazza Tasso all within mins of walking distant, which is faster than driving and finding parking around the area.

The property is very clean, modern, spacious with kitchen and nice balcony with sea view and street view. The staffs are fantastic, helpful and cheerful.

Great location to the town center and everything is within walking distance. The staff were very nice and helpful as well.
The room we stayed in was clean and offered a mini kitchen for those who wanted to cook during their stay. The bathroom was a decent size and again was clean. Plenty of compartments and drawers for clothing storage. I recommend this hotel and would stay again. We hope to come back next year!

So, our experience was like a rollercoaster. The place was great but the staff was not very supportive in helping out for multiple things like providing extra beds , parking. Though they did give us an extra hour for the check out - so not completely disappointed. Would recommend the place location wise and price.

Spacious apartment, clean and well equipped kitchen plus a balcony for morning breakfast or evening drinks as long you don't mind the traffic noise. Double glazed windows and air conditioning. In a very good location, convenient for trains and buses. All staff are very helpful, especially Rafaella. We will stay here again next visit to Sorrento.

Check in was easy and pleasant, the clerk on duty was very helpful and nice. The suite was perfect for us, we were a couple and a third adult so the pull out couch worked great, especially with the privacy door between spaces. The kitchenette allowed us to make a few meals but the hotel’s location is surrounded by great restaurants to tempt you too! Convenient to the local train and the harbor for day excursions to Naples, Pompei, Positano and Amalfi.

Spacious and simply furnished and quiet but well located within 10 minutes walk of town centre.Excellent bathroom.Most helpfull staff.
Poorly equipped if wanting to cook a proper meal and no wine glasses, just tumblers.
Most disappointing that the free use of Hotel pool is not available if suite not booked direct through Hotel direct otherwise charged at 15 euros /day per person. As a result the hotel had no business from us.

No breakfast was included but there is a small bar/restaurant right next door to hotel which we had coffee and breakfast every morning and then met friends before dinner for drinks. They had a washer/dryer to use for fee but very convenient! Beds are on the very firm side. Would recommend this hotel!!

Our reservation was canceled and hotels.com rebooked us here. It was more expensive than our original booking and hotels.com covered the difference which was unexpected and appreciated. The location is great and within walking distance to town. I like that it was a little bit away from the crowds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I don’t think there is anyone to check you in between 4 - 9 PM so you need to consider that when making travel plans. The room was clean, and very modern. Everything seemed to be brand new. If I were to go back to Sorrento I would definitely stay there again. Excellent restaurants very close by.

My stay at Rota Suites was excellent. Every time my family walked past the front desk, the staff always greeted us with a smile. The room was clean and spacious. The rooms were modern with a balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather in Sorrento. The staff also helped us with the schedule for the Circumvesuviana train which was having strikes during the day time. Without their help, we would have missed our connection in Naples. I cannot say enough about this hotel and the staff.

Rota Suites a pleasant surprise

My son and I found Rota Suites to be a delight. The hotel staff was always very helpful and spoke very good english. The rooms were clean and comfortable with most everything that was needed in the kitchen area. The only thing missing would be an iron and a coffee maker. There was a 1 cup espresso pot, so we used that every morning, which made the coffee taste incredible, but it would have been more convenient to have a coffee maker or an espresso pot that made multiple cups. A short walk away is the Hotel Riviera, their Sister hotel. This turned out to be the a wonderful perk to staying at Rota. While the Rota is bare bones, the Riviera was an incredible
grand hotel perched on a cliff. They not only have a pool but a \"beach\" area on the water below where you can sit and relax, go for a swim and buy a drink or lunch. If you want the convenience of a kitchen in the room and extra space, the Rota Suites is a great choice. It is not a fancy hotel, but you have the sister hotel, Riviera, to use if you want to have the amenities of one.

My husband and I just got back from our trip to Sorrento. We had a great time staying at the Rota Suites. The hotel is located in a quiet area about a ten minute walk to Piazza Tasso. The staff were kind and so helpful. Thank you Rafaella and Georgia! We loved the balcony and would watch the sunset at night. The kitchenette was so useful. My husband loves to cook, and he made some delicious meals while we were there. There is a grocery store nearby and a fishmonger down the street from the apartment. We would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend the Rota Suites.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Location was fairly central but a decent walk to restaurants. Concierge was gracious and offered a stronger hair dryer which was a welcomed relief. When I booked this hotel, Expedia had a note that the room had a view and a balcony. I had presumed we'd have a view of the water. We did have a balcony that had a view of the street and other buildings, but no water view which was disappointing. There was also an additional 30 euro a night charge for my daughter who joined us at the last minute which I found excessive, given that it was the same room and she slept on a pull out sofa bed. Parking, at 15 euro a day, was difficult as driveway is very tight and stressful for us with a 4 person car (get extra insurance if renting a car in this region as roads are narrow & be careful to avoid historic area where cars are not allowed). The best part was access to their sister Hotel Riveria, for 15 euro per person a day, which is a better deal given that it's on the water, has a pool and looks like a 5 star hotel.

We had a misfortune with our flights and Rota Suites staff were so understanding about our situation, even though it was not their fault. We would highly recommend these suites to anyone!

The hotel had recently had a decor update however there was a lot of furniture in the room was quite oversized for the space. eg. there was a 90cm square table below the small 24inch tv that extended past the door frame. Some people may completely unpack when travelling but for those of us who live out of our suitcases there were redundant large drawers, side tables and 4 dining chairs. I would have rather had smaller items and more space.

A great family base for exploring the area.

This hotel was a perfect family break for us.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The little kitchen had microwave (with grill), fridge (with freezer), 2 ring hob and good sized pans for family cooking. Lots of crockery, cutlery and glasses too. There's a great supermarket a short walk away where we could get breakfast, food for picnics and a good choice for dinner. There was also a baker on the corner even closer.
The sleeping arrangements were much more comfy than expected. The kids had the bedroom and we got the 'sofa bed' - this was a proper folding pull out bed though, making up to a king-size bed and really comfortable.
We had a great view of Vesuvius from our balcony, which was unexpected!
It was only a short walk to the train station (perfect for visiting Pompeii and other sights) and into Sorrento itself.

Great hotel, just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and the main road which leads into the town centre. Easy access for all the bars and restaurants, shops, train and bus stations and the harbour. Very friendly staff, nice modern rooms. Great self catering property, cleaned once a week but bins emptied more frequently.

Really nice, modern and spacious one bedroom apartment! 7 min walk to main square in Sorrento. There is a large, non tourist supermarket at the top of the road. Balcony looked over a fairly busy street which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open, but to be expected in such a central location. I highly recommend the Rota Suites!

A Sorrento gem'

Conveniently located just five minutes from Sorrento station and the lively square with its shops and restaurants that come alive at night. A 15 minute walk to the ferry harbour. All staff were polite, friendly and attentive, keen to ensure our stay was enjoyable. A suggestion that a new shower head was needed resulted in one being fitted same day prior to our return that evening.
Views of Vesuvius across Bay of Naples from our balcony. Sorrento is a perfect. Base from which to explore the amalfi coast and Capri and can be reached from Naples by. 45 min ferry, express train or one hour taxi ride. Reasonably priced compared to Positano and Amalfi and offering endless nights wandering its small streets with a myriad of delightful small shops and charming restaurants. No hesitation in staying here again when we next busy wonderful welcoming Sorrento!

Our 2br apt was very spacious, modern and well equipped. Plusses include clean modern and bright bathrooms, automatic blinds that really block out the light so you can sleep, balconies, laundry facilities off the lobby, good AC. Minuses are starkness and lack of Italian charm and no breakfast. If you want an apt/condo rather than a hotel room, then this is a good choice as there is a small kitchen for cooking or heating up leftovers!

Spacious, modern and very clean.

Great staff that were available to greet us. Just be aware that sometimes the reception can be closed from 4-9pm, but after that there is someone available to let you in.

The suites are very large, living room along with a bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable and spacious, so it was a nice reprieve from our smaller hotel in Rome.

Housekeeping isn't performed daily, other than a pickup of garbage. You have two sets of towels but can have them changed once per stay for free. Wifi is ok at best, I'm guessing it's not made to support that many users at once.

The rooms are quiet, even the ones above the businesses. You will sleep well here. The bathroom is modern and has all modern amenities. They also provide some shower gels and shampoos.

The hotel has a partnership with Hotel Grand Riviera so you can go swimming there for 15 euros. I recommend taking advantage of it at least once since it's close by and it's a very good way to unwind from seeing other towns nearby.

Really enjoyed our stay here, air con was very good, reception so helpful, use of the sister hotel's pool and pontoon great (even at a cost), Wifi was sometimes not very good, other times great, which with two teenage boys was occasionally an issue but we all would go back and recommend to people. We were lucky as had we a corner room so had two balconies, one with a street view and the other with a view of the Bay of Naples - lovely! Easy walk to the train station (5 mins) and into central Sorrento (under 10mins).

Beautiful apartment, great location but HARD bed.

We were overall very happy with the apartments at Rota Suites. They were modern, clean, convenient and the staff was very friendly. The kitchen was well equipped, great balcony over the bustling street with just enough ocean view. We used the washer dryer on the lobby level for 8 euro and it was easy and so helpful to have a week into our two week trip. We spent 3 nights at this hotel which would have been all but perfect except for the rock hard bed. Both my husband and I were in so much pain we could hardly sleep or move the next morning. The kids hide a bed was more comfortable! I ended up taking 6 pillows from the housekeeper and lined them up on the bed and slept on top which helped a lot. If they would just change the mattresses then it would be hard to find a criticism! I hate to deter anyone from this great hotel because it really was everything else as advertised!

Great stay for 5 nights. One thing to note is that they do not clean the room or make up room while u stay. Also they change towels once in the middle of the stay. However overall was great for value. Spacious and comfy. I did find some hair on the new sheets of the bed when we checked in but we managed to fix that and not be bothered much.

Wonderful stay at the hotel, this is a great base for families to go exploring, close to the centre of Sorrento. Very handy car park at the back, ask for a room at the front. The 'sister' hotel is lovely, fantastic pool and bathing jetty and amazing views. The staff are lovely and very helpful with lots of local information. Would highly recommend.

A good base in Sorrento

The Rota Suites make a good base in Sorrento. Situated a 10 min walk from the centre of town, they benefit from local amenities such as a great fishmonger, a butcher, a baker's and a supermarket within 5 mins walk. The apartment was clean and comfortable; plenty of towels, a spotless bathroom, a comfortable bed. The 'kitchen' is a sink, two rings and a very small fridge, but was fine for our purposes although I thought some of the utensils were a little tired (very blunt paring and breadknife). A kitchen roll and scrubber for washing-up would have been helpful. On the whole,however, I would recommend the Rota Suites. Our room was bright and spactious and the staff were friendly. The main downside, however, is the incessant traffic noise which is constant day and night. With the windows open, it was impossible to sleep. This is obviously not the fault of the Rota Suites but light sleepers will not appreciate the roar of motorbikes from dawn till dusk.
