Saw the owner - GM and when she greeted my wife and I as to how was our stay and I expressed the issues. She immediately pivoted to the FD and walked away very quickly. Shows where the lack of empathy- hospitality and taking responsibility comes from.
I’m a very understanding person and have travelled quite extensively to all parts of the world and can accept that things happen. In this case I’m extremely disheartened of the situation especially in an amazing island as Tobago.

There was no ironing boards in the room. The gift shop was always closed and I had to ask for it to be opened. The prices at the bar is very expensive $24.50 for a bottle of coke. I been at this resort 6 times

Ariana and Shymead was helpful, knowledgeable about the products that were being served and very polite. The best part of my stay was the staff. General appearance and upkeep of the hotel need some work, pool needs to be uplifted and maintained tiles missing etc poor appearance, restaurant area needs to be cleaned there are bird droppings on the perimeter of the dining area. Rooms were generally good, bathtub was flaking and dirty. Kiddy pool was dirty with moss and need to be clean daily.

My overall experience here was great. Breakfast was tasty and consistent every single morning. Service was great staff is friendly and always willing to assist, however place does seem a bit rundown. They gave us a room very far from the lobby in which the air condition was not functional. I had to request to be moved to another room which they did. My only hope for this hotel is that they try to renovate some areas to enhance its visual appeal. Other than that everything was great.

My recent stay at Grafton Beach Resort was disappointing. The room was far from clean, with noticeable stains in the sinks on the floor and holes in the sheets. Phones desk and closet was dusty. I did not want to take my shoes off! Furthermore, the staff at the front desk were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in resolving my issue with the room service. I was also disturbed by the outdated amenities, including a bathroom with leaky pipes. Overall, my experience was not up to the standards. I was able to speak with the manager who was helpful and accommodated me to the sister as property next door.

At check, the front desk agent was really professional and and gave the best customer sericw - also too the waitstaff at breakfast. Other than that - this property is dates has not changed since i last visited in 2009. The room was musty - the tiles around the pool has moss build up and broken - the property is in dyer need of some TLC. The location is ideal but the hotel is really run down....did not enjoy it at all.

I stayed at Grafton Beach Resort from April 20–23, 2025, and it was hands down one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Despite booking through Expedia and being charged in full at check-in, I was forced to change rooms three times due to serious maintenance and hygiene issues.
Room 1: The door wouldn’t close properly—an obvious safety risk.
Room 2: The bathroom was rusted, stained, and clearly not cleaned to a sanitary standard.
Room 3: Hair was left in the sink, shower, and on the toilet. The refrigerator door wouldn’t close, leading to water leaking on the floor—an accident waiting to happen.
I stayed one night only because my child and I arrived late and had no other immediate option. Despite raising these issues with the on-site supervisor, who promised to escalate it to management, no solution was provided. Expedia also attempted to intervene, but the hotel refused to issue even a partial refund, hiding behind a rigid cancellation policy. Calls to the front desk went unanswered after I checked out.

This is my second time staying at Grafton Beach Resort. I love the location it's at the beach and I got a beautiful view of it. The breakfast was included with my stay and was always enjoyable, I loved it. The only thing was the beds were very uncomfortable felt uneven. But will definitely stay again

beautiful well laid out property right next to a beach which is mostly private.great breakfast.friendly people.Only issue is the hotel was mostly empty .Also it was raining and the stairs to go to the rooms were uncovered .There should be some sort of covering as it can be very dangerous to older overweight people who are not wearing the appropriate footwear as they can easily slip and fall

Could not check in before 3.pm. Without an additional change. Had dirty towels in one of the three rooms, had to have it changed. Rooms are dated and not cleaned to hospitality standard. Our other room had a air conditioner with did not work when reported she said it was the batteries when I know that the remote was not connected to the air conditioner because the batteries didn't work either. Restaurant service was very very slow. Said they couldn't change our room when the parking lot was empty.Rooms definitely need to be updated and the gaps in the door were very inviting to the mosquito the curtains were filthy

This property is very old. I paid for all inclusive thinking me and my two children would get options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was only us there. There was not one soul there! Its lije people do not go there. The menu only had 2 options which my kids do not eat, it was more indian options. On our first night, dinner was 7 pm we had to wait 1hr and a half in the lobby for our food. We were very much on time!!

The property needs a serious upgrade everything is outdated, power coming off and on, very costly for items, a bottle of water is $25(in local currency) and it’s in the middle of nowhere be prepared to call a taxi to go anywhere because walking to the nearest store is impossible. It’s close to the beach and the staff treats you good but other than that I don’t see much going on for this place.

Advertised services such as cable TV not provided as there were only 5 channels. Spotty internet service. Lack of timely response by staff to complaint that a TV had been left on high volume in an adjoining room which had disrupted our sleep. Definitely does not provide the services of 3 star hotel.
