Good standard of hotel, in line with most German standards. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a decent selection and some nice variations.
My only comment is that city hotels will need aircon if climate change gets any more. The room was too hot and it's undesirable to open the window by a busy street.
Overall though a good value stay, near to transport options for the city.

Amazing friendly staff, nice location. I had 2 nights in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and that was loud and smelled of the cigarettes people were smoking on the street right below but then I was changed to the cutest little room at the top floor. It had a view and was renovated. It was much smaller but much nicer. I am sure that it must get very hot when the weather gets up there as there is no AC, only fans.

Stayed for 3 nights during the Euros tournament, prices are inflated as everywhere is in high demand. Worked out around £50 per person per night which isn’t too bad.
Staff are excellent and all seem to speak very good English to make up for my limited German.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Was catching an early flight needed a room for a few house since we would go out and come back around 2am but had to leave for the airport at 5am. Took a shower and the room flooded they couldn’t do anything about it and was rude straight told us by the manager that it’s a 3 star hotel we don’t have money to fix things so we slept in a pool of water please save your money cause u get what u pay for. Don’t ever go through what we went through!

This is a very nice place to stay. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the main railway station, so that access to the airport and other locations is straightforward. The rooms are clean and very simple. WiFi and television are free. This is a nice place to stay at prior to flying out from Duesseldorf airport the next morning.

Hotel was clean and functional without any luxuries, which for the price was great value Great location for the train station as only a 5 minute walk. With the added bonus of a Rheinbahn VRR region unlimited use trsnsport day ticket for only 2 euro each which enables us to travel to Bochum for football and Wuppertal.

I was looking for a place not far from the Old Town with good transport links.Well, I was so pleased I chose Hotel Schumacher,it turned out to be very convenient,in fact I walked most of the time. I arrived by coach from the Weeze airport in Düsseldorf,andI did not even need a cab,7 minutes walk and I was there.The receptionists were all friendly and helpful with information.They all speak english,room was cozy,what else could I ask for,will surely stay there again.

Pretty cold. Simple to go to Hotel from Central Train Station & then
to take bus to leave from same Station. Clean. Hot water with stores
and underground to bars & restaurants. Good Hotel for solo exploring
sleeping & showering as rooms are small. I guess I was lucky that it
was snowing when I left so I didn't get soaking wet from the rain. But
it was freezing waiting for the train.

Mi estancia en este hotel fue bastante cómoda y en general positiva. La ubicación es excelente, muy céntrica, lo que facilita moverse por la ciudad sin complicaciones. Los porteros siempre fueron atentos y amables, dando una buena primera impresión. La habitación, aunque presentaba algunos pequeños defectos en la pintura, cumplió con lo esperado y me resultó agradable. En cuanto al precio, considero que está acorde con lo que ofrece, manteniendo una buena relación calidad-precio. Una opción recomendable si buscas algo bien situado y funcional en Düsseldorf.

Partendo dalle valutazioni critiche, e con la dovuta premessa dovuta al fatto che non ho ben chiaro come vengano assegnate le stelle, questo hotel mi sembra più un tre che un quattro. Perchè le parti comuni hanno spazi limitati e condizioni che richedono una manutenzione. Di positivo c'è il personale pronto e disponibile e la posizione comoda e vicina ai principali mezzi di trasporto, anche se non in centro. Nota di merito per la colazione, servita in una piccola stanza da una signora molto attenta al cliente e con prodotti gustosi.

Hotellet hadde alt jeg trenge for langhelg opphold! Myk dobbelseng, ren og fin bad med alt man trenger. Deilig frokost hver morgen. Beliggenhet er helt konge, 10 min gange fra Düsseldorf Hbf, 5 min unna U-Bahn og S-Bahn. Hyggelig og behjelpelig betjening. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Im ersten Zimmer waren alle Rolläden unbenutzbar, in dem darauffolgenden fallt mir dann die Balkontüre aus dem Scharnier als ich diese öffnen möchte. Im Bad gehen nur die Hälfte der Lampen und im Fernseher laufen noch 3 Sender. Auf Reklamation beim Personal war die Antwort: wir sind eben ein Budget-Hotel….. ah ok, das ist also die Begründung für ein Hotel mit einem massiven Investitionsstau und jede Menge Mängel die scheinbar nicht interessieren. The room was bigger thsn expected. Elevator stops between the floors so you need to go down or up a few steps. Clean room, bathroom and fresh towels. Breakfast buffet was really excellent.

We boekten ons verblijf voor drie nachten voor nog geen 180 euro en daarom waren onze verwachtingen ook niet erg hoog. Je krijgt hier wel waar voor je geld. Er waren wel wat kleine dingen zoals douchewater wat niet goed wegspoelde en ook het theewater en de koffie waren redelijk lauw bij het ontbijt. De bedden lagen goed en het was er heerlijk lekker warm! Best een aanrader als je voor niet te veel geld op stap wil in Dusseldorf.
