the room facility is too old and staff has no intention to help. No single AC outlet can be used for US plug and no USB_a or USA-C for charging electronics. Too old hotel with too old management. Changing a lamp with USB outlet will cost only 20 Europes max. Yet for years, this hotel decided this is a small thingfor its international guest

I was very disappointed to discover only when checking out that there was an unexpected tax but more importantly that they took a deposit at that stage (we had no extras in our one night stay) which we will have to wait 14 working days to have returned! Absolutely no justification for keeping hold of this money

Comfortable stay

We had a very comfortable stay for two nights at the courtyard. Check in and out went smoothly. The staff were all friendly and professional. The hotel itself is the usual clean and comfortable beds that you expect from a Marriott. The rooms have all that you need for a couple of nights. Because it is next to the railway station you need to be aware of all the “strange” people how hand about there. However the hotel seems very secure.

Great stay, clean and calm (inside) hotel just in front of central station entry. The beds were comfortable, spacious bathroom and enough storage space for a family of 4. Very convenient location for us after 14 hours of travelling.

The room could be a bit more accommodating for 4 people, there was enough space but only two chairs. Also, our window was facing parking and train platforms, which, obviously is not the calmest possible place. So if you like sleeping in open windows, this might be an issue.

The staff was friendly. Also didn't charge for a lost key card, saying that housekeeping will probably find it.

When I arrived before lunch and just asked about parking, the gentleman at reception was smiling and kind. When I in the afternoon checked in properly the woman at reception seemed to not care about me, not a smile at all. The applies at the restaurant for dinner, not a smile from any staff. They did their job, but I don't feel welcome.
My schnitzel Wiener Art was not cooked properly, I didn't tell staff, I just didn't eat it all

Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed Bremen (old town compact) and trips out to Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven.
Hotel advertise daily housekeeping but room only serviced every third day. Have to contact reception if want anything like clean towels, cups, glasses. Disliked having to make own bed on touring holiday and not having bins emptied.
Hotel also advertise restaurant but that is closed. Sign suggests just for day but closed down. Didn’t want to walk into old town to search for a restaurant every night of stay.

The hotel is right outside the train station, and has easy access to trams and buses. They have the best bed in the King Superior room. Loved the bar, and restaurant. It’s simply a great place to stay. Staff are friendly and courteous.

3 minute walk to the tram stop to get to the airport (which is 12 minutes away).
Rooms are great, bar serves some excellent drinks.
Restaurant on site which is fairly standard but includes some really interesting specials…

Very nice, clean and quiet room which we were very grateful for because directly opposite the hotel was a massive concert taking place and also a train station with several hundred superbly drunk football supporters. If our room had been facing either of these local features we might have felt inclined to cancel. The girl at reception was very helpful smiley and polite and assured us our room was quiet. Which it was, and very comfortable. Nice restaurants and areas in easy walking distance but beautifully located this hotel ain’t

I have stayed at this property before and have each time had an excellent stay. It would have been perfect this time if there had been slippers and a bath mat. The shower floor was quite slippery, and I had to put one of the hand towels on it during my shower.

I loved that the hotel was right outside the train station, and near buses. My only complaint is that I was not given a King sized bed when I specified it on Expedia. The reception staff told me that they can never guarantee bed size on check in which was odd. I have never had this problem with any other hotels. Expedia needs to make sure customers get the room they pay for.

Rented bikes for 6 hours from the hotel which was nice and easy. Hotel is right outside the train station so excellent for location but was a little noisy on a Saturday evening, but wasn't noisy too late. Room was big and comfortable. Fitness center was small but workable. Staff was friendly.

Everything was good, except that there was one day when the house cleaning staff forgot to give toilet papers after the room was cleaned. When we were back to the room in the evening, there was only a very very small roll of toilet papers left on the toilet paper rack.

Great hotel right next to the main train station

The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the main train station in Bremen. The room was very clean and the hotel staff provided service with a smile - literally. The wifi was fast enough to stream movies and the breakfast buffet was very good. We happened to visit during a hot spell, and we were happy to discover the AC in the room was really cold, in stark contrast to our experience in Cologne a couple of days before. All in all, we had a great stay here.

Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The only reason we marked down was we enjoy a cup of tea in the room and the tea and sugar was not replaced each day. The reception staff though did not hesitate to supply us with fresh milk for the fridge and replacement tea bags and sugar. Also only one small bottle of shampoo and shower gel for two people is a little tight. This did not however stop us enjoying our stay so thank you. Bremen and its people were lovely.

The hotel was in the perfect location for a conference I was attending at the Bremen Messe. Coincidently it was the Freimarkt which added something different... My only gripe would be regarding the breakfast which was one of the poorest I have had at this class of hotel but otherwise a good stay.

This hotel offers brilliant value for money. It's in an excellent location, literally just outside of the Bremen rail station (HBF). There are shops and restaurants within 500 yards of the front door but everything that you need is also available in the hotel. There's free wifi in the bedrooms which was excellent for me as I had a lot of work to do. The bedroom's are spacious and comfortable, and lots of natural light if you want it. In terms of practicality they think of everything, from tea, coffee, water, a fridge, to the shoe shine cloth and a mini sewing kit. Despite reaching to the accommodation a bit early I was allocated a room on arrival which meant that I could crack on with my work. The only hard part was that the bed is comfortable (and the pillows) that I didn't want to get out! I can't fault anything about this accommodation.

Fabulous Location, Wonderful Hotel

I stayed there for two nights, the hotel staff was helpful and very nice. The room was very comfortable and decorated very well. Fresh apples were provided at the desk. Check in and out was easy, PARKING was readily available for 12 or 14 EUROS per day (I forget which exactly but either 12 or 14), you are right at the Main train station but wouldn't know it. Room was very quiet.
Bathroom was well done and clean. Plenty of places to eat around there and a QUICK tram ride into the heart of Bremen, you can walk as well and it doesn't take long at all.
Great for all kinds of travel - family and business!

We had a very pleasant stay here at the Courtyard by Marriott in Bremen. The room had a great price for such a short term reservation. Lloyd's Restaurant had great food, and the service there was outstanding from just a single individual he took care of our table of 10 without a single issue! I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!

Great for getting around

I am very happy about having chosen the Courtyard by Marriott, Bremen. It was very convenient for my business purposes and had the added attraction of being close to any of the transportation methods that I required. The hotel itself was also very nice and accommodating. I understood that it is relatively new, so I hope they keep up the condition and services as it ages.

This hotel was great for our trip. I travelled with my wife and my parents and we all loved the hotel. The markets were only a short distance away on foot if you cut through the train station next door. Do not let a train station next door put you off as you wouldn't even know it was there. There was also some good places to eat and drink in their to as the breakfast at the hotel was a little expensive. Just one negative with the hotel has to be the wifi. You only get one free hour a day, the rest you have to pay for. Over all a great hotel and well worth a visit

Stayed at the Courtyard Bremen for 2 nights on our way home from a long stay in Europe. Staff was very accommodating/helpful and our room in the renovated Lloyd Bldg part of the hotel that faces the main train station was roomy, quiet and very nice. You can't beat the location adjacent to the train station and trams with taxis right outside the door. A great hotel for touring the city or catching day trips around northern Germany.

This is a great hotel, very conveniently located right at the main railway station. Just two quibs: use of the computers in the lobby is charged at 7.50 euro per 30 mins which is steep, price of breakfast which is outrageous (however, they do offer a breakfast to go (bread, fruit, coffee) for less than 4euro.

Very modern hotel next to the train station and city centre. No noise problems and I had a room facing the station. Parking behind the hotel at charge. Room very comfortable with fridge that can be filled from items you can purchase at reception or another shop. Restaurant meal options very varied and good quality. I did not have breakfast so can't comment.

Fortunately you cannot go wrong with these brand. Location is very good, all the rest up to what one expect by reserving a Marriott.
There are several other hotels in same area, same price and even more expensive... but none if them \"can reach the water\" to this one.
Expect top you'll get it.

we stayed a Friday night so we had a good price. the Hotel is very comfortable with large quiet rooms. The staff is helpful and courteous. You can purchase drinks to bring to your room at the front desk. The TV entertainment system propose a lot of recent movies. parking is pricey (12Eur for 24h) but you can leave the car and walk to downtown.

The Marriot in Bremen was very modern, clean, and air conditioned. The hotel is right by the train station, but our rooms were quiet. We were only a 20 minute walk to the historical old part of town and located between the large park and downtown. The bathroom was very sleek and wonderful. The rooms were quite large, especially by European standards. We were really pleased that the bed sizes were comparable to American hotels. Best of all, the air conditioning worked fabulously, and the beds were quite comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Bremen, Germany.

Great Hotel close to downtown and next door to HBF

Beautiful hotel right next to train station and close to down town. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Had a couple of hiccups though. Upon check-in they were not going to give us breakfast even though it was part of the room package. They also did not have any English papers on the weekend, but that was not a big deal.
My greatest complaint was the internet. They do not have any free internet anywhere in the hotel. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and nearly all of the hotels I stay in offer free internet in the business center and lobby. Not the Marriott in Bremen!
Come on Marriott, catch up with the rest of the planet and offer at least free internet in the lobby.
Outside of that I would recommend this hotel and would probably stay there again if in Bremen.

Stayed one night when visiting the Christmas market. Got checked in early, which was a bonus. Helpful English speaking staff. Great room - huge, with large bathroom with powerful shower and very clean. Tea/coffee facilities in room, comfy beds. Can't comment on food as didn't eat in hotel, but right by main station with dozens of eating places to choose from. Teabags replenished speedily when requested at reception. Fruit/chocs platter at reception to sample. Ten minutes walk to shopping area and Christmas market. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Hotel for a Weekend Break in Bremen

Stayed here 16-18 Sept 2011 - room only. We arrived around 10pm to the hotel with ease by using the airport tram (2.30euros one way). Just walk through the Hauptbahnhof when you arrive and you pop out right next to the hotel! Loads of great cafes in the station next door, and a great location to walk into the town centre. The hotel is imacculate, the rooms are massive! This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! They even provide an empty fridge in your room so if you were on a tight budget you could buy your own breakfast and eat in your room!

I highly recommend this hotel for weekend breaks or business. The staff were so helpful, and we were checked in within a few seconds! Thats service!

Convenient location, comfortable rooms

Located right behind Bremen central station, I found this hotel to be extremely good value. My room was a good size and very comfortable. It was just a short walk into the Altstadt to see the sights of the town and do a little shopping. I also ate in the hotel restaurant, and enjoyed some well-prepared local recipes, and they provided an excellent spread for breakfast. One gripe: there is a business centre, but the rate for internet usage was so high as to render it impractical for casual travellers to check email, etc.

Best hotel we have stayed in in Bremen - will definitely use again

This hotel is what you would expect from a Marriott - clean well equipped polite and attentive staff - location is excellent next to main railway station - restaurant was first class and obviously attracted a lot of local dinners although it was a little expensive

Excellent location at the Bremen

Excellent location at the Bremen railwaystation. Just renovated / built nice facilities with a lot of space. Rooms are very quiet. Service is very friendly and offered welcome drink in the lobbybar also a big plus.
