They even offer also fitness classes and gym equipment is pretty elaborate.

Booked 2 rooms with lake view but upon late night arrival (due to lost airline luggage) they were on different floors (which didn’t work for us given kids…)… got reassigned to basement / ground floor level with no view except for large bushes in front of window… Room appeared clean but discovered 3 spiders (1cm and larger) in the first night. Since we had nothing with us (lost luggage by airline) the first night, I would have also expected a bit more than barely getting 4 tooth brushes (no hair-brushes or anything else was available).
The surrounding area is beautiful, but for being a ‘luxury’ hotel, I expect better service / amenities / accommodations. - Clearly this Hotel was great in the 80s and 90s… but it’s on it’s way to become a ‘Fat Elvis’ nowadays… Staff was friendly throughout though and overall the visit was fine - but I won’t repeat it.

This is a 5 star hotel in every respect. It is positively palatial, set in acres of beautiful patkland with a lake at the front. A beautiful reception area leads to bars, and a dining room with the breakfast rooms beyond. The breakfast area is sensational with high ceilings and chandeliers. The service provided is exceptional, standards high, and the staff deserve great praise for their attentiveness. Breakfast is a superb experience with a great variety of high-quality food. We were upgraded to a huge room with massive bed, seating area and good-sized bathroom overlooking the lake. The hotel is about a kilometer from the main station with bus and tram links at the bottom of the long hotel drive. I simply can't praise this hotel enough and would highly recommend to anyone.

Very relaxing hotel, right in the park, but be aware that it is not really near any other restaurants or activities. There is a fine-dining restaurant (lovely, genteel, a little old-fashioned so if you are in your 20s or 30s it might not be quite your thing!).

The hotel was beautiful particularly the foyer and the orangery where we had breakfast. They had also decorated beautifully for Christmas. Only disappointments was that the room was smaller than we expected for the price we had paid. We had a lake view room. The fried breakfast buffet was also cold but the continental breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay again.

I have been staying here since 1996 and during the last 10 years not only on business but with family whilst driving through Europe. Our dogs are always welcome and everything is perfect. We will always come back!

Free parking at the hotel in downtown Bremen is nice, reception opens to very nice lobby, great and helpful staff, rooms were very nice. We didn't use the wellness area, but were told by others that it is great too. The Park Hotel is, as its name indicates, located in a larger park, the Buergerpark, which is very nice for strolls. It is 10 minutes walking to the main train station (and another 15 minutes to get to the downtown area.
Also, Wifi with good reception is included - as i would expect nowadays.
Bonus for dog companions is that you can bring your dog - not sure what to do, but we saw lots of people with their pooches staying there.

Stunning location and quiet. Our room overlooked the lake which could not have been better. Had the heated outdoor pool to myself one afternoon. Disappointing not to have tea/coffee making facilities in room, surely a must for a 5 star. Large choice of food for breakfast but had to send our cooked breakfast back as was cold, at 25 euros each this was again disappointing. Ate breakfast out for the rest of our stay.

A stunning building in a stunning location. The hotel is grand by size and appearance. The rooms are beautiful and the hallways to get there are a mile long. It is slightly understaffed. There is no bell service and the restaurant staff is rather overwhelmed with the task at hand. The restaurant is not worth mentioning in regards to value for the money. The breakfast buffet is great. If one does not expect a 5 star service the hotel is recommended. It certainly is an architectural marvel.

We thought we were getting an air conditioned room - apparently this is not guaranteed. We were given a room at the front of the hotel which was in the sun all day and temperatures were over 32 degrees. We asked to be moved and had a room at the rear of the hotel over looking the park. This room was in shade for much of the day but was still exceptionally hot.

Staff at the hotel is excellent. In the bar, dinner, breakfast and lobby the staff went above and beyond. They made our stay in Bremen great. Rooms were large and spacious. The bathroom was huge. They did a nice job renovating the hotel.

Their door locks don't work. It's the weirdest thing. The hotel has bizarre keys which are really difficult to work and requires traipsing back to the reception every time for assistance. Fine other than that.

If you like to take a walk or like myself a run in one of the most beautiful public parks in Germany (I think only the English garden in Munich beats it) this is the place for you. Very quiet place but it is easy to walk to the city center from here (if you like to walk that is) about 15 mins I would say. Plus they have about the best breakfast buffet in Bremen and a wonderful spa with a heated outdoor swimming pool. I came here earlier this year and was disappointed...staff was not particularly nice and the room (in the Annex) was a bit outdated and dark. This time I was in a great single room in the main building with a view of the small lake in front of the hotel. On x-mas day a hotel staff came to my door and gave me a x-mas plate full of fruit and cookies. Very nice gesture (even though not really needed given the amount of food consumed during those days). So thanks Parkhotel you've upped your game, at least for me!

The room was beautiful if a bit dated. It also had very good sound-proofing and was extremely quiet, which is something rare for large hotels. The breakfast was great - big variety, good quality produce, freshly squeezed juices, and very attentive and helpful waiting staff. The checkout time is quite generous at 12-noon. The location is ok, in Bürgerpark a bit far away from the city but it is 10 mins walk from a tram stop.
However, the reception service was questionable. The hotel doesn't seem to have luggage storage room, or at least they don't bother to use it for mere mortals like myself and some other fellow guests. So if you ask for luggage storage they dump your bags next to reception in front of a cigarette vending machine. Their \"24-hour airport shuttle\" doesn't always work it seems, or at least wasn't working while we were there. And for a nice goodbye I got ripped off with my credit card payment - I wanted to pay in euros but they charged my card in pounds with a ridiculously bad exchange rate.
All in all great hotel, shame about reception service - they need some serious customer service training.

The hotel and service personnel were attentive to your needs, making the stay more enjoyable. However, the hotel is in a city park away from all the city activities. Taxi service is needed all the time. Food at the restaurant was very good but the service slow. I still rate this hotel top notch to stay.

The hotel is set in a park and is lovely with plenty of nice architectural features. However, there were issues.There were no tea making facilities and when I asked I was provided with a kettle, cups , and sugar but no tea or milk. I bought these from a supermarket. The wifi was intermittent and only received in one corner of the room. Breakfast was expensive at €25 per person and we had poor service. The bath towels are much smalker than a usual hotel.
For someone like myself who has stayed in hotels around the world, this was disappointing but the potential to improve is there.

This hotel was in a beautiful park, surrounded by trees and overlooking a fountain and lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The perfect spot for a quiet stay. You can have tea, drinks, or dinner outside overlooking the water when the weather is nice. Be sure to specifically request a room with air conditioning if you want one. Not all rooms have AC. There was ample parking. The only negative is that it would be a 30 minute walk to get to the downtown Bremen area.

Lovely rooms expensive breakfast
Room was absolutely gorgeous. Super comfy beds and didnt hear a noise from any other guests. Found the bar always empty but at about 10€ for a drink i wasnt suprised. Had a shock at the buffet breakfast when i was charged 25€ each. Nice but not that nice, even 10€ would be to dear. No drink making facilities in the room so if you want a cuppa when you get up its room service$$$$. Decided to walk to the train station every morning to buy pastries and drinks as i stayed dor 5 days. If money is no problem its great. Basically a 3 star couple in a 5 star hotel.

I expected a nicer hotel based on the pictures and disclosure of hotel. Basically, old hotel, needing updates and far from the better areas of the city. Learned a lesson to do more homework. I feel misled. Staff was very nice though.

This hotel is nestled in the heart of a beautiful park. The grounds are outstanding. The property is older so the facilities are not the most updated, but still very nice. The breakfast was the only disappointment and is not worth the 25 euros.

We sadly spent only one night in this hotel on our recent trip, sad, because we wish it was more! Wow, it was lovely! The front desk were very welcoming and made the check in process very simple and easy. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. We booked dinner in the restaurant. They need some work here on the service. Everyone was nice enough, but we waited far too long for the food, and had to ask to be served more than once. Just didn't match the rest of the hotel. Food was nice, but the staff needed some training. Breakfast was fantastic! We would come back in a heartbeat to this hotel.

Stayed here twice with my two children on a Roadtrip to Belgium from Denmark. Set in a park we had rooms overlooking the lake and the park. Our first room was more of a suite. Very large and equally large bathroom. Robe and slippers and a cuddly toy for the children. We had a wrap around balcony with seating overlooking the park.
Our second stay met with confusion as we were being given a double room not suitable for 3. Staff were helpful and rectified the situation and we were given a larger room although it was a little dark. We were on a room only basis so did not have breakfast. The hotel is very impressive and I look forward to staying again.

We spent a night here on our way from the Danish north sea coast to IJmuiden ferry port. Arriving tired and tense after a long and tedious journey we were glad to relax in the spa before an excellent evening meal.

Beautiful hotel with some limitations
The Park is located in a beautiful park in Bremen, wonderful for walking. Has a lovely spa and very comfortable beds. I've stayed there many times over the years but this time was different. They are now hosting large functions so my first night my room faced the inner court yard and lake, usually quiet, but a band was booming for an outdoor party that lasted until midnight. The first room I was assigned sat right over the front parking lot so had car noises and I could not sleep with my window open. Staff was less than pleasant when I asked for a different room. My friend was told she could check into her room in \"ten minutes\" and she waited for over an hour, and also was not treated kindly when she complained. Had she been told at the outset that she would have to wait, and perhaps offered water or coffee while she waited, it would have been fine. This is a five star hotel and five star service comes with that rating. We also had some wonderful staff interactions so I would say staff is more uneven these days than in the past.

This was a beautiful hotel. We went to Bremen for the Christmas Markets. This hotel was a short drive. It had a beautiful spa area and the room was spacious. Would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful old style hotel with elegance
We enjoyed our stay in an excellent hotel. Only problem is that the entrance requires the guest to walk up 10 front stairs, carrying heavy luggage and no help to be found. There should be a bell to ring for help or at least a ramp where one could pull luggage up. Being in our 80s it was not an easy entrance although once the staff found us, they were very helpful
