Self check in number did not work and only managed to get through front door because a staff member let us in but the code didn't work for room. Had to add credit to my phone to call hotel for a new code. Room was OK and location was good

Basic and not great

The hotel is very basic. There is no concierge and so anyone can walk in and out of the building if they follow someone in. The work/dining area and the kitchen was not cleaned regularly and felt dirty. The rooms are cold and heating is not efficient. Limited services so if you run out of toilet tissue or towels or dirty sheets it takes a while to get them.

Good place to sleep

Was a decent hotel with nice rooms... but it felt more like a hostel.
The house felt a bit run down... and there is a nightclub quite close... but we didn't notice it on our stay.

So in general, it was a good stay if you only want to sleep.

Proactively look out for building and room access

There was a slight mixup during check-in as we hadn't received the building access and room information. I called the hotel number but it went straight to voice mail. I then wrote to the hotel via their Facebook page and surprisingly we received a reply and access details within minutes. The person apologized and I believe it was a genuine mixup so all was well that ended well. Please double check to make sure you get room and access details on the same day of check-in otherwise do reach out to them.

Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Check in was not good, you're supposed to receive an email or SMS with the room number and door code, that never arrived. Luckily an employee was there to help (unmanned self check in property), but I had to wait for her to finish her cigarette break. The room was ok, none of the 3 beds were made, but sheets were provided, bathroom smelled of urine. Thin walls meant that we heard everything going on next door, and street noise meant we heard people fighting and throwing up at 3am. Not a great stay.

No tea and coffee making facilities, dirty bedding, unfriendly staff...You can't even make a cup of tea in the kitchenette as nothing is provided. No hair dryer. No breakfast or parking. The rooms are also TINY

An excellent hotel and great value

Great location, fabulous room but the thing that really made the stay stand out was the quality of the breakfast. There was a huge choice of breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and hot food- Scandinavian specialities as well as generic European/ UK ones. And soy milk for my vegan friend

Det är ett enkelt hotell utan personal på plats. Rummet var rent och ganska mysigt. Läget är mycket centralt och passade perfekt för min övernattning då jag bara behövde en bekväm säng att sova i. Rummet hade dessutom ett stort fönster, vilket var trevligt, även om utsikten vetter mot en innergård.

För en övernattning helt ok. Tyvärr ingen frukost men det går bra att besöka fiket 75 m där ifrån. Nycklar via sms funkar bra. Tyvärr inte mycket parkering i närheten. Läs noga skyltar vid parkering. Tv funkade inte på rummet.

Ett lotteri om du får ett bra eller dåligt rum

Det positiva var läget och priset.
Jag har tidigare haft både positiva och negativa upplevelser av detta hotell.
Denna gången var tyvärr mycket negativ, mitt rum på översta våningen ut mot gatan var mycket lyhört, trasiga ventiler i fönstret så det var ett konstant kallt drag i rummet, trasiga persienner, inget wifi trots utlovat, så där var inget wifi på TVn och en dusch som tog lång tid innan man fick nåt varmvatten.

Enkelt och prisvärt med fint gemensamt kök

H5 är prisvärt men enkel. Man måste veta och väga in att det finns flera nattklubbar i samma hus, så bullerstörningar är kraftiga på helgerna.

Prisvärt och centralt

H5 är ett relativt enkelt hotell med hög grad av självbetjäning. Rummen är rena, fräscha och ganska rymliga. På minussidan finns framför allt bullerstörningar; hotellet ligger i samma huskropp som flera välbesökta nattklubbar. Både musik och stojande människor hörs oundvikligen, särskilt i rum som vetter ut mot gatan. Men totalt sett är H5 definitivt prisvärt.

Så där.

Smutsigt runt kranen i badrummet. Bakom toasitsen. Lysarmaturen låg löst på badrumsskåpet. Extra toapapper på handfatet, blir blött när man tvättar ansiktet.
Lite stopp i avloppet, rinner dåligt.

Kuddarna luktar använda även om örngott var nytvättade.

Högljutt, inte mycket att göra åt.....

Det låg perfekt för oss nära hamnen och fint centralt med nära till allt. Parker, restauranger och butiker.
Enda vi har att klaga på är att vi kom med vagn och det inte stod att hissen stannar MELLAN våningarna så hur man än gör behöver du ta dig upp/ner för en större trappa.
Annars var rummet fint och städat. Behagligt med barn i sängarna på \"väggen\". Trivsamt

Hotell utan personal vilket framgår av beskrivningen. Vi bodde i ett rum på plan 5 där det inte gick att öppna fönstret (vi vet inte om detta var avsiktligt eller handtaget trasigt) och det var varmt i rummet och luften dålig.

A comfortable week end stay!

A clean and very conveniently located little hotel. The train, ferry and main square is only a few steps away. On the bottom floor is a common area with kitchen, a seating area and a little courtyard. Our room on the second floor was spacious with a mini fridge, desk/table, and a cosy chair. Bigger and better than expected for the price we paid. The bathroom again clean and practical (except for shower curtain, with an hot shower the curtain always comes closer n closer) and seemed newly renovated. Highly recommend! Oh yes, the cafe that gives a breakfast discount with the hotel stay is absolutely brilliant, and healthy!

Rummet var städat men kändes lite ofräscht då det fanns en stark lukt av rengöringsmedel blandat med urin i badrummet som spreds in i övriga rummet. Jag fick sova med öppet fönster och det blev lite kyligt.

I don't recommend

Not very good quality of room for the price, it felt very cheap. Toilets product not flushed, toilet cap not staying up when sitting.
Very small room, so it didn't feel like a hotel. More like a student sleeping room.
I wouldn't recommend, especially for the price. It's worth putting10€ more to find a better place.

Bastuvarmt rum

Vårt rum var som en bastu när vi kom in för att solen hade stekt på hela dagen. En av persiennerna var trasiga så man vaknade av solen kl.5 på morgonen. Vi öppnade fönstret och startade den lilla fläkten på rummet men det hjälpte inte utan det var olidligt varmt hela natten

Vi var 2 personer som skulle bo i 2 nätter och fick en toalettrulle med ca 1 cm toalettpapper. Jag ringde första morgonen och bad om mer toalettpapper. Det fanns ingen personlig service så jag talade in ett meddelande på telefonsvararen på det nummer som anges på hemsidan. Det fanns inget toapapper när vi kom tillbaka till rummet på kvällen. Då ringde jag journummret och fick prata med någon som tyckte det var jättejobbigt att vi behövde toalettpapper. Efter mycket om och men så fick jag hämta en rulle på ett rum som inte var belagt.
Stort fint rum, fina fönster men väldigt dammig sänggavel och väldigt smutsigt i det gemensamma köket.

Bra budget hotel

Förutom att rummet ej var städat när vi fått kod, fick vänta 1 timme tills det blev städat så var rummet fint. Wi-Fi fungerade dåligt. Allmänna utrymmen tex köket, matsal var smutsigt.

Hotellets läge och pris var bra. Men dåligt att skicka felaktiga koder för att komma in i ett av rummen. Eftersom telefonnumret fungerade kunde det åtgärdas tämligen snabbt när vi fick fungerande koder. Men inte kul att först inte komma in i sitt rum i ett hotell utan personal.
