Very nice stay at this hotel. Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet, nice workout area and beside two slow elevators during busy morning times, I couldn't say anything negative. My room was ready by 11AM. Nice move! Booking again for next year.

Great hotel stay

We were very lucky to have had our room ugraded to a suite on arrival. The hotel was beautifully decorated, the staff were very friendly, the hotel was in a great location close to the city centre sites and there were no noise troubles from the tram or train station right outside. Thank you!

Registration complications online—but great hotel

The stay itself was wonderful, but we spent 2 hours of our delayed train ride in trying to register online and at least on safari and google on iPhones it would never prompt for putting in credit card info, even though it ask us to authorize payment and we did. But still registration was not complete because of lack of payment. We tried calling ahead and only got the corporate line and even though the website said it was staffed until 10 pm , no one answered at 9:15 or 9:30 pm. We were worried we would not be able to access our room. Of course, once we arrived at 10:30 pm, the counter staff was still there and said they are staffed 24 hours but that info was no where available on the website that we could find. When we finally switched to a MacBook, we were able to complete registration of one of 2 rooms, but it still provided no info on room access. We spent a couple of worried hours not knowing if we would be able to access our room. So that was immensely disappointing. But, since there was kind and helpful staff still at the front desk when we arrived, we not only got in but thoroughly enjoyed our room. Thank you!

Rooms are a good size. They are clean but could do with updating. Wallpaper/paintwork looks tired. Bedstead was grubby but bedding seemed clean and made up daily. The property is central with excellent shops, supermarkets and places to eat nearby.

Conveniently located and pleasant hotel

Very well located for public transport and only 10 minutes walk to old town. My room was spacious and clean. The public areas are being renovated but that doesn't detract from stay. Breakfast is 16 euros which was too much for me so I bought something and kept it in the fridge.

This is without doubt the nosiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Additionally, it seems to be in the bad part of town as a lot of rift raft tend to congregate around the train station. It is a completely different atmosphere only a 10 minute walk away. I would recommend staying at Motel One; a much nicer hotel in a much nicer area.

Nicely located hotel across from main station but it is quite noisy from the tram traffic. We booked a family room for the two of us, and it was very nice to have a separate seating area. I would stay here again. My one complaint is that they are stingy with the coffee pods. Two pods for a two day period.

Satisfactory accommodation but room-cleaning and staff performance underwhelming - locked out of room on last day when staff messed up reservation and had to wait outside one night in subzero conditions when locked main entrance was left unattended. Eventually let in by unapologetic staff member.

Directly opposite the train station and 10 tram stops from the Airport, what made this Hotel stand out was the lack of noisy inconsiderate oiks waking everyone up at 7 AM as they head to breakfast while conversing at the top of their voices, thus ensuring a tranquil stress free stay. Highly recommended.

Close to the centre, amazing staff, comfortable, easily accessible directly opposite train station. Doris on the desk gives 100% attention to details to make my stay good. The staff never considered or showed attitude of demanding too much from them at any time.

The desk lamp wasn't working making it a bit dark to do work. And it would be good to provide a hand towel in addtion to the bath towel for use.
If only the TV was positioned in a way that could be seen from both the bed area and the chair/desk area.

Overall, the place was clean, safe and service good.

As I have stayed at Star Inn in Vienna, I had expected the same standards - simple but clean and modern, perfect for a short stay near the station. The first impression was very good as the room size was good however we were soon disappointed. Two beds in a family room were too small. They could have been a bit bigger since it is a family room. One last check of bedding would have been good too. The bathroom needs to be updated and the shower head needs to be changed. Overall, we were not very impressed.

Lovely spot in Bremen

The hotel is just a short jump from De Amwall, a canal surrounded by a gorgeous park. Dont miss! And in front is the beautiful old train station. The carpark was a bit hard to find, and a bit confusing how you got into it. But reception is very informative.

I truly enjoyed having the hotel right next to the Hauptbahnhof. Once you learn how to use the bus and trains you have access to the entire city and beyond. If I had a room on the front, that would have made my day.

The hotel was in great location,
We came to Bremen for concert which was very handy for the concert we went to just 10min walk trough the station OVB to the arena and 5-7 minutes from the center of town which was really handy.there was a lots of shops and foods shops around which came up very handy in our stay! Also even we have to pay for the parking 11euro per night there was a parking provided as stated on the website.the rooms was very clean and even the maid ask us if we need service I refuse as we only been there 1 night.the service at the reception also was very friendly which I personally was very sceptical as I thought that German don't want speak English ,but all around,all was great!very happy with the service and very happy with Bremen !

There is very good Kafe/bar next to the hotel just 50 yards from the door of the hotel where you can have cafe or drink and the staff is really nice too!
If you coming with train you will be the best accommodated as the station is literally on the front of the hotel!
there even there is restrictions about 2metres from the ground and I had to pay 11 euro per night,but in this central location I think you will need this just to be safe! Very happy ! Will stay again if I'm going to Bremen !

Check out the restourants at the river especially the Spanish one called I think Bogetta :-)

Very professional hotel staff and helpful. The hotel infrastructure is a bit on the small side with main entrance well concealed but overall a very pleasing experience. The location is 10 minutes from the airport via trams (line 6). Get a North Germany rail day pass for E29 for 2 persons! and you could use all trains, buses, trams in Bremen, Hamburg and Hanover at el. The hotel itself is near major eateries and shops, so, it is GREAT.

Easy to reach by tram from the airport. Get the number 6 and get off at the railway station, hotel is just there. Hotel was pleasant and only a short stroll to all the main sights, such as the market square and the Schnoor district. A great few days away.

Nice hotel under 10 min to Altstadt

Nice hotel facilities and staff across the central train station and under 10 min walk to the Altstadt (old city centre).
Although in a not such a quiet area, the room is absolutely sound proof. Very clean and spacious room (business room). The breakfast buffet is delicious. We could not enjoy the spa facilities as they were broken :-(

Great place to stay! The place was situated next to the train station, and the city was a short 8 minutes walk away. The Wifi of the room was really good, and it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here. However, the neighbourhood seems to be surrounded by suspicious characters that come out in the evening.

Easy to reach from airport by #6 tram to Hauptbanhof, buy ticket from machine or on tram, where hotel faces main entrance. Room was on floor 7 facing station, can be noisy with late night travellers but quiet after 12. City shops and market square a comfortable walk away. Breakfast included which is always a bonus, good varied food selection. Weekend is obviously busier. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No restaurant at hotel but highly recommended one next door. As ever you need to book on Friday and Saturday. Room comfortable and clean. Good value for rate paid. Would return here.

Excellent 2 day trip to Bremen and the Star Inn Hotel. Room was perfect for our needs, bed softer than we'd choose but very comfortable.
Breakfast was great - plenty of choice.
Wi-fi was free and worked well.
Hotel was easy to find - opposite the train station and just along from the tram stop to and from the airport - couldn't be easier!
The area has plenty of take away places for a quick snack and it's an easy 5 min walk to the centre and more choice of restaurants etc.

We did not have to look for the hotel as it was right across the road from the railway station, and our window looked back onto the busy thoroughfare in the morning. Great to see so many people off to work when we were on holidays! It is close to everything, and Bremen is not a place to be missed. There were lots of tourists, but we managed to avoid them. Don't miss the glockenspeil at 12, 15 & 18 as we just missed one and had to leave before the noon performance.
